They say they changed landscaping companies, and it's a miscommunication. A 5-month miscommunication seems unlikely to me. Only one mentioned she was leaving for an appointment. I was then directed to take a self-guided tour, but encountered issues with the access code. The departing staff member came to assist me, but even then I struggled to lock up properly as I was unfamiliar with the door mechanism. To my surprise, I found myself exiting through the pool or fitness area and was unsure of how to leave the premises after 6pm, past closing time. Fortunately, the gate opened and I was able to exit. Personally, based on this experience with the staff, I would not choose to rent here despite the nice housing. I gave a rating of 2 due to the quality of the housing.

I have had pretty good service and even better now since the old manager has been gone. Any maintenance issues have been promptly tended to and concerns addressed. Other than an "ATTITUDE" form a contractor I have been pleased so far. (That plumbing company no longer services this complex, Odd huh) I did have my bicycle stolen from my porch. But, I should have locked it up better and to something structural for sure. That was NOT the complex's fault either. I gave the complex a "4" just because I knew this was not a top of the line complex nor did I expect it to be. However, I feel safe, secure and comfortable here. And this complex is way better than the average "DUMP" in San Diego for four times the rent! I'd recommend this complex to someone.

The mgmt team, at one point, rented the apartment under us to the church accross the street who had homeless people in and out at all hours. Our apartment was at one point infested with roaches and the mgmt team did nothing --we finally went and got the chemicals we needed and treated our own space because they simply wouldn't do anything. DONT count on using your balcony here because between 83rd Ave and the 101, the noise is really loud. Just look more closely at the details--bugs and filthiness of the grills and go look at the 2nd pool and how clean it is versus the one you see from the office. We haven't been able to get our mail here wihtout a signature for 4 years. They are selling luxury here-especially with the price tag but I warn you now, THAT IS NOT WHAT YOU ARE GETTING! beware...
