I tend to get a bit nervous going to new salons since I've had some bad blonde-ing experiences, but Carol (with some great help from her daughter) was absolutely amazing!!! She evened out a few bands I had from a previous stylist, and got me to an amazing, even platinum color (from very dark brown hair). What was even more impressive was she did this in 2 hours flat - typically I spend twice that long in the salon to do the same thing. With 40 years of experience, Carol is a rock star stylist. She gave my partner a stellar haircut as well, and both together were for a super affordable price. Everyone in the salon was really friendly, and it was a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere. If we come through Charleston again in the future, this will be our go to place. Thanks again Carol!!

My daughter was totally taken advantage of and this was very unethical. They advertise transparency on their website but that was definitely not our experience. Buyer beware. Very disappointed in their lack of attention to make this right. Instead a received a text saying that she consulted my daughter before doing the root smudge. I attached screenshots of my Groupon account showing that I purchased the haircut and conditioning service on Oct 19th 2012, redeemed on January 7th 2013, and the expiration date was March 2013. Please STOP LYING ! I did not dye my hair - no highlights, nothing. Only got a conditioning treatment, a cut and a trim of my bangs and my hair was styled. I was ripped off and overcharged. In my original review I wrote that I paid 40 dollars - my bad, I paid 19 dollars for the Groupon. I did not order any extra services. At the checkout the owner/receptionist told me that my Groupon did not cover the cost of the service. He "honored" the groupon (the face value of which was 39 dollars I believe) and said I had to pay 70 dollars on top. Dear ladies, as you can see, the salon is extremely dishonest. Please stay away!
