I'll keep this short and brief - I received a call the morning of our trip complaining about the number of car seats we needed (which I informed them of months in advance of our booking), the car seats we did receive were dirty and stained - so grossed out to have to put our baby in it, and the entire time the driver was loading the bags into the trunk - he was cursing under his breath at having to do it... with young children standing all around. Zero service, no smile, no nothing - no professionalism. Never again. I chose them because they beat the price of another company that we went with 3 times on the trip and I can say for certainty, I would definitely pay more money next time to go with someone else after this experience. read more

So I made the ultimate travel mistake. Fly into a busy airport, at the busiest time of the year, and book transportation for the wrong day! Talk about feeling like a moron! The gang at Mercado fixed it no problem. They assured me from my first phone call that they could still take care of me. We got picked up by this company and we were supposed to have two child seats, which were not available at the time of pick up from the airport and same issue back to the airport. The driver wouldn't let us use the third row, so my husband had to sit in the front by force literally. When we got picked up from the airport, The driver didn't look OK. He was telling us how tired he was and he had a horrible day and I realized that he kept tripping as he was trying to move stuff in the car!!! we were supposed to be given water bottles, but none was available. Also, the driver was such a rude person that kept telling the kids to be quiet so they had to whisper in the car!!! they could not watch anything or even move a toy. He kept telling us to be careful and be quiet all the time and he kept complaining about other customers and how horrible they were. Failed to show at airport and when speaking to some incompetent person on phone asking where the driver was for 6 pax plus luggage he stated that he didn't have our flight details but was still saying the driver was there. In the end we didn't get a driver or vehicle but still they took the money out of our account and didn't even provide a service. Booked a "luxury SUV" thru a third party, Orlando Shuttle Service last April 29, 2023 to take us to Hilton Cocoa Beach. Mecado Transportation verified the time, flight information and receipt clearly states "Luxury SUV". A driver would meet us at the baggage claim and take us to hotel. Well, very bad experience from the moment we touched down. No driver, then a text instructing us to meet driver outside when we collected our luggage. He would be waiting by a FORD TRANSIT VAN! In other words, a shuttle bus. I called and asked to be met at baggage claim. So, the driver and another employee met us there and took our luggage to the van. I asked where the Luxury SUV was? He said changed vehicles at last minute. I was furious! A hotel like shutte van to drive us an hour away!! Seats were uncomfortable. Driver acted like he had trouble seeing in the dark, drove about 50 mph in a 65 mph zone. Other employee guiding him. I called Mecado when we returned from cruise and asked for an explanation. He advised me the van was an "upgrade". I asked for a reasonable credit to my card for the uncomfortable ride as we paid for a luxury SUV. He started yelling at me and the more I demanded a credit, the more he yelled at me then he hung up!!! Do not use this service!!!! If I could give the business a minus 10 rating I would. If the owner had given us back credit for the misleading transportation I would not have to post a bad review! DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!!! read more

I contacted the owner, Sam, to express my dissatisfaction with the transportation service arranged by a rental house service in Reunion Resort from May 4th through May 9th. The driver (Fred) was not waiting for us at baggage claim as I was told he would be. He told us that he wouldn't park in the designated area until we responded that we had retrieved our baggage because he didn't want to pay to wait for us. His delay was over 30 minutes from the time we called him. Next, he told us he could make one courtesy stop at a small store (which is what their website states) so we could pick up some food and beverages. When he took the wrong route to enter the resort and found that he had missed the local store, he became very irritated and unprofessional. He did take us to the store but continued to incessantly complain about the delay and not getting home when he expected to. Then he wanted to drop us off at the Resort hotel not at the rental house. He basically told us that we would have to pay extra to do so. On and on he went and every time I told him he needed to contact the office to find out why he was given incorrect instructions. Since it was midnight, we agreed and gave him and extra $20. We experienced the same problem with our pick-up as the driver was waiting at the hotel. That driver (Al) was incredibly nice and professional and picked us up at the house. I'm not sure where the disconnect occurred as to dropping us off/picking us up at the house so you need to look into that so future guests are not inconvenienced and held hostage for an extra tip. I highly recommend Mercado Transportation services if you're in the Orlando area for their prompt & professional service, courteous communication, safe driving, and spacious accommodation. Here's my experience: Our family was going to "wing it" with other shuttle services once in Orlando. Most were $25-$50 over that of private transportation services for our group of 6 (4 adults, 2 children), with the potential of sharing the ride with others (more stops!). I'm very glad we opted for private limo service. Upon quoting, Sam asked for some details (group size, ages, and general baggage questions). He was very professional and never once was pushy to make the sale. I booked over the phone with a simple text of our Airline flight number. We communicated via text from then on. He was on-time for pickup at the airport, loaded our baggage into the spacious Escalade (clean, fresh, and with no cigarette odor), and even knew the proper child seat to use for our little one. The drive: very nice--smooth and peaceful--no sudden stops or take-offs. Sam was very safe and when he had to use his cell phone, the call was brief and on his Bluetooth--not once did I feel he was distracted during the drive. For our return trip, we had to get to the airport an extra hour earlier than previously scheduled. Sam made it happen--on his busy Saturday shift! The only thing I regret was not asking to make a quick stop at the market for snacks and stuff to take back to the hotel. Based on others' review, looks like he probably would've, within reason. I would like to yelp about this one limo company I used while I stayed in Orlando Florida. Sam took us around Orlando and also to our destination of our cruise in Port Canaveral In his black Escalade. We had a really good time the transportation was smooth his Escalade was nice and clean and I definitely recommend him to all future customers. When Sam dropped us off at the cruise ship ports he also asked if we like to be picked up and when we returned one week later from our cruise Sam was down there, he text us in the morning as we were getting off the ship letting us know that he arrived at location to take us back to the airport. We used this service to provide transportation between MCO, The Grand Floridian, then Hard Rock Cafe in Universal and then back to the airport. We had two different drivers for these three trips. The drivers always arrived on time and prior to arrival would send us a text message. The drivers were courteous and drove safely. One day prior to each of these trips Sam would either telephone or text us confirming the appointment. We would definitely use them again. read more

Our plane was delayed due to mechanical issues which caused our flight to land in Orlando about 20 minutes before midnight. Prior to taking off, we informed this company about the issue so we could make sure we had a ride to Disney World. After we landed, we called again and were informed that they didn't have any drivers working that late. The owner offered to refund our money, but it's hard to ride in a refund from the airport to Disney. The ride in the taxi we had to take cost $30 more than we had booked through Mercado. Beware of the Mercado website that shows it's open 24 hours a day because it isn't. We canceled the return leg to the airport with Mercado based on principle. If we couldn't trust them to show up even after we had already prepaid, we can't trust them to get us back to the airport on time. Buyer beware if you are using Mercado especially if you plan to get the ride you paid for in advance. read more

Booked this car service because I wanted to get to the cruise port ahead of the bigger shuttles and have a car seat for my baby. They came late and brought a very old damaged car seat. By the time we were able to figure out the car seat was damaged and unsafe to travel in the other shuttle services had already left and we had no other options to get to the port. Called the owner and he stands behind this because "the car seat is a free service". When I book a luxury service I expect all options to be of the same caliber, Included or not. Pay the extra $10-20 and book a real luxury SUV or just book a group shuttle, you pay what you get for. read more

Mercado Transportation to the rescue! My daughter and granddaughter were travelling from Philadelphia to Ocala FL for several days, landing at Orlando Airport and planning to rent a car to drive to Ocala that same evening. But everything went wrong! The flight was delayed and didn't land until after midnight, the car rental counter was closed, and she was told there were NO CARS available in Orlando at any car rental that night. She called me, her mom, to get online and check that out...how could that be that NO CARS were available to rent anywhere in Orlando? But after checking Expedia, Priceline, etc. and making a few calls directly to various car rental companies, I was convinced. It was true - there were NO CARS available to rent anywhere in Orlando, nor surrounding towns that night, and not even the next day. They had no choice but to stay over in Orlando and try again in the morning. But in the morning, nothing had changed, still no cars! I could however, rent a car in Ocala (90 miles away), but how do I get them to Ocala? I started calling limo companies and Mercado Transportation came to the rescue. I was speaking to the owner Sam Mercado and he said he didn't have any drivers available on such short notice - I wanted them to be picked up that morning by hotel check-out time if possible. Then he said he'd drive her himself! So nice of him! He came by their hotel at exactly 11am and texted me, the anxious mother/grandmother, "On our way now". He even stopped at Starbucks for them. My daughter texted me that it was such a treat to be sipping coffee in the back of a luxury SUV and being driven by such a nice man. The trip to FL that started out as a disaster turned out to provide an unexpected special pleasure. I felt good about the arrangements I'd made and very pleased with the price. After he dropped them off at the car rental in Ocala, Sam texted me "Mission Accomplished". When you book a round trip reservation and they forget to pick you up to take you back to the airport so you can fly home, I have a hard time saying they deserve more than 1 star. Really enjoyed meeting Fred and the ride to the hotel was great ... but if you can't get the whole job done properly I don't think you deserve credit for 1/2 a job completed. Was told they made a data entry error and that is why they forgot to pick my family up. (I confirmed the entire trip 1 day prior to the initial pick-up). read more

This was one of the best decisions we made to use this service for our Disney Cruise vacation. We were greeted at baggage claim at the airport and transported in a extremely nice large van to Cape Canaveral to our hotel. When we came back to the port a week later we were picked up on time and transported back to the airport again in a nice clean van. Price was affordable and was a great option for our party of 7. We just returned from a 12 day family vacation/cruise out of Port Canaveral, Florida. We booked Mercado Transportation to pick us up at our hotel in Orlando Saturday morning and take us to the cruise port. Sam arrived on time (early), loaded our bags, and delivered us exactly where we needed to be. He was pleasant and professional and his Escalade was immaculate. Plenty of room for 3 adults and 2 teenagers. Eight days later, Sam was waiting for us at the cruise ship terminal to transport us back to another hotel in Orlando, near Universal Resort. The next morning our daughter realized her cell phone was missing. We used the Find My iPhone app and located the phone at an address 25 miles away. We texted Sam to see if this address was where his Escalade was parked. He responded quickly and said that was his address and then took time to go over there and search his vehicle for her cell phone. It had fallen down between the seats in the back of his vehicle and he kept looking until he found it. He offered to drive the phone to us or else keep it safe until he picked us up 2 days later to take us to the airport. We were so impressed with his extra attention and his willingness to help us out with that lost phone. This morning he picked us up at our hotel at 5:25 a.m. and took us to the Orlando airport. Sam is professional. punctual, and kept in communication with us so we never once had to worry about our transportation. He made every aspect worry-free. His rates are fair and clearly stated. Just got back from a week in Disney. We used Mercado transportation to and from the airport. One word can describe our service...AMAZING! We couldn't be happier with how smoothly the whole process went and how wonderful the drivers were. We have 3 children and they provided car seats and boosters at no additional charge. It was so nice to not have to drag car seats with us, overpay for a taxi, or sit on a shuttle bus with a bunch of strangers and stop at multiple hotels. Mercado Transportation is the most professional Limo company I have used to date. We have used Happy Limo, Mears and another that is out of business in the past but found Mercado to be prompt, courteous and really knowledable of the area. If you are going to Disney I highly recomend this service. Sam was there to pick us up early, loaded our heavy bags, took us to a slow grocery store and got us to our hotel letting us know of some great places to eat! On our return trip he got us back to the airport in no time flat. We were worried about it being 5pm on Friday but we cruised through traffic in a beautiful, roomy Escalade and made our flight. Very poor customer service, the owner does not honor cancellation policy -even with a 7 day advance notice-, they take full payment up front I guess for this reason, our driver who self declared was tired as he worked the night shift was all over the road, driving at inconsistent speed, dodging in and out of lanes. Our group of 4 adults arrived in Orlando International at 1pm, so I wonder what time he started his 'night' shift. read more
