Turns out root canal was wrong too!!! didn't put a post when it was needed. And sure enough crown is botched as well. I urge everyone who had issues to contact the California dental board. I did because he's so unprofessional. Had another root canal and crown done with him. Around the same time and that one too has a gap between where food gets stuck. At this point I'm gonna contact an attorney after I talk to dental board because that crown was paid for cash, and I don't want him touching my teeth because he leaves them worse each time. I regrets going to this dentist my tooth throbs at times I'm afraid it didnt seal correctly and I have a cavity on my tooth. I don't know what this man uses to seal them it's terrible!! Terrible dentist!!! Save time hassle and $ do not got there. I got a crown, two weeks later I noticed I had a gap between tooth and crown, food was getting stuck and smelled bad, go back told him the issue ha wanted me to pay $120 to clean the gum I told him it smelled bad because the food getting stuck!!! I left angry. Decided to get a water pick and got me antibiotics just in case I was developing infection. I used the water pick and sure enough food came out and smelled. I went back and told him the issue he was focusing on another tooth I told him I was there for the crown not to worry about my other tooth. Anyway he agreed to replace it after I insisted, I go to get my tooth ready for the replacement and for the temporary cap and instead he filed it down and since it was a big gap the crown looked terrible crooked I told him I was there for replacement like he had already agreed and even had it on a sticky note on the tray. He looked annoyed! I just thought you don't file it down before asking if it's ok with me. I refused cause it looked very crooked on the inside . A few weeks later I go in for new crown he cemented it, literally 5 minutes late,I had to go back cause it fell ugh! He filed down my tooth and I believe cleaned the crown . He re-cemented it put it back and two weeks later I noticed I had gaps everywhere and it was loose. Had to contact insurance to file a complain and will definitely call the CA, dental board. Terrible dentist do not go with him I will see what gets done and find another dentist. Malpractice, doesn't listen to you, and doesn't understand what you're saying every time he tries to make it better he makes it worse 1

He tried to explain that different teeth respond differently to dental work at different ages, because my another dental filling done many years ago never sensitive. But, I recently got fillings done in China and NONE of them are sensitive and painful. ALL the fillings done here were sensitive and painful! So, it is HIS fillings that are sensitive and painful but NOT I am sensitive to dental work! After his fillings, I have seen a couple dentists for pain and even flied 18 hours to the other side of the world to seek solutions. Jesus, nobody can stay calm with such annoying pain and sensitivity for over one year and a half, very likely two, three or more years. Well, I will definitely give them zero if can.

When I was finally able to set up an appointment after 2 months, they informed me they did not do consultations! Which means, all the calls and time had been a complete waste! Dr. Patel said the x-ray was not sufficient and he needed to take another one, a lady from the front desk came and talked to me telling me she had to let me know it was going to be exspensive, $175.00 but the Dr. needed it. So I agreed. After the x-ray, Dr. Patel came back in and said he needed 5 teeth pulled and it would be $3,000.00 I was stunned! Also that did not include todays visit. I told them I would have to see what I could come up with, I did not have $3000. They told me I could apply for Care Credit or Cherry, I did and was approved for $9000. to be used only at Dr. Patels office. Paid cash $300.00 for today made an appt for a week away. My Dad is 93 and on a limited income and I also wanted to check with his Dr. to make sure it was ok to do this. The next day after thinking about everything, I felt as if we were being taken advantage of. I went back to original dentist and told them what happened. He decided he would do it himself. Right away, I was greeted with a great smile. The lady at the front desk was clearly busy, but that didn't stop her from being attentive and friendly. Lovely welcome desk. She had a knowledgeable answer for every question, and never made me feel uncomfortable. Her inspection was quick but thorough, and I walked away feeling like the visit was comprehensive. The female dentist who did my cleaning (I'm bad with names, sorry!) was extremely friendly and equally as knowledgeable. I hadn't been to the dentist in years, so she really needed to put some work into the cleaning. However, she managed to keep it comfortable and basically pain free--other than the usual tugging and poking that is necessary. I think my favorite part was how everyone seemed super happy and eager to share knowledge with me. Every question was met with an answer. I took a day off work to make the appointment (to have a crown) but Dr. Amethyst didn't even remember me (READ MY FILE) probably worried about making more money to support her son going to OU (Oklahoma University) to play golf and her last minute flight planes to watch him play (yes I am in the business to remember people).
