I frequent the Sammamish location daily, sometimes 2x / day. Not just because I have a crippling addiction to caffeine, or because my drink is cheaper than therapy -- it's because the baristas here aren't just some NPCs reciting pre-programmed dialogs or force a conversation either. They're great at building rapport, they work orders quickly, they're always upbeat & have amazing recall. I'm visiting in Sammamish and my boyfriend took me to Mercury's for coffee Friday morning. I was immediately impressed with the menu-a variety of chai lattes, specialty caramel drinks, etc. It was a rainy morning that felt like autumn, so I thought I would ask if they had pumpkin spice lattes (even though it's technically august) and they DID! I got my first PSL of the season with oat milk and it was incredible. Apparently they have pumpkin spice whip cream, but not yet. They even included a chocolate covered espresso bean on top of my drink :) Great customer service too! Our barista was very nice and personable and complemented my boyfriends cardigan which made his day! read more

They have solid coffee and some very typical food options. The service is fast and friendly, I only wish they had the space for people (pedestrians) to go in and order like some of their other locations. This is only a drive thru location which is ok, just not the regular coffee shop ambiance to serve a meeting spot. read more

The coffee here is amazing! The vanilla cream cold brew is my go to and it never disappoints and even the normal cold brew is top tier. Very smooth and good flavor. It's a bit pricey but it's nothing crazy. The people and service are awesome and always super friendly! read more

I brought in my travel cup with unsweetened almond milk. I said, don't dump it. She went right to sink disappeared and demoted the milk I thought of to bring in! The thing is, I drive extra distance to come to mercury when starbucks milk plant ones have no sugar & it's free with Amercano! I did not get an apology, just an entitlement. I'm so mad!!! Sad all their plant based non dairy milk has sugar, contrary to previous statement from another barista a year ago, as I cannot have sugar. I thought it was their coffee. Unless they change to no added sugar plant milk, I cannot have their latte or americano as often as I used to. Please change it! Thanks! read more

Great coffee. They give you chocolate beans with your coffee. You can ask for a loyal card that you can show every time you purchase a drink to get a free drink in the future after a certain amount of purchased drinks. The place is popular and can have long lines in the morning but they are efficient and the line moves fast. Thank you. read more

Love mercurys coffee. I was super excited when I heard they were opening one closer to me in Sammamish. That day has arrived. I just went for their grand opening where they were giving away free coffee all day. The line was pretty long but they were super efficient with people taking orders on phones. I am amazed they can get away with the powdered chai, I witnessed that with my own eyes. Chai aficionados will tell you this is no bueno. I am also amazed that the owner or manager lady was zinging one of the other reviewers for speaking up on this topic, WHO DOES THAT? In general, bullying people to make others not post negative reviews is a scary business practice. I wont be back. If I want powdered drinks I can do that in my microwave just fine. Decent coffee. Friendly staff. Not my first choice but a good choice when I'm in neighborhood!

I'll start by saying I love the coffee and the people here. They do a great job and actually get your order right (unlike their competition who screws up all the time). The only thing that prevents me from coming here all the time over their competitors are two reasons: 1. Mercury's operates in a drive-thru fashion only, You would think this means that they have the system down, but the lines are often 15 plus minutes long. Most people don't have that amount of time to wait on their way to wherever they're going. If I pull up and I see a big line, unfortunately I'll put in a mobile order with their competitors. 2. That brings me to my second point, the lack of mobile ordering, and rewards for their customers. I was told years ago that they would be coming out with a mobile app, I've searched and still don't see one. Rewards are kept on your Mercury's card, but I found that often the rewards get missed. If there was a mobile app and I paid with the app, I know I would get the rewards. I would love to come here every time I get a coffee, but it's just not practical with the long lines and lack of mobile ordering. read more

Organic and best coffee in the world we bring all our visitors through Mercury and they are always impressed. I don't know how the staff does do it but they always are in a good mood, and they make drinks fast. Especially David he has an great memory for drink orders. I've been here quite a few times and half the time the service is good but the other half of the time I get bad service. One time I ordered a vanilla latte and I was given pure bitter brewed coffee and had to call in for a refund. And recently I went for my free birthday drink and I asked to have it split into 2 separate cups but that would mean I'd have to pay for 2 separate drinks basically which is pointless. Then that same day my relative ordered a brewed coffee (no milk!) but was given basically a latte. We didn't bother getting it remade because we had waited in life for over 30 minutes and more than half the time I always go here I wait in line for so long that I'm late to wherever I had to go. read more

Drinks are amazing. Of everything I've ordered, I don't have anything bad to say taste-wise. Baristas have always been super helpful and kind. When the drive thru gets busy they will come get your order most of the time which is nice so you don't have to wait as long. read more

I have a few favorite coffee places on the Eastside. I like Peet's in Redmond, Amore in Overlake, Woods in Bellevue and Pomegranate In Redmond. I have had inconsistent quality with Mercury's in Kirkland and Fall City but found them pretty solid so I was excited to see them put a new location in right near my house--excited but also dismayed at how much cash I might drop there. This location has been wonderful. My espresso is almost always delicious and the baristas are very friendly--I have become a regular! I only wish it was a little less expensive. My drink is $6 here but in other places it is usually less. However I think their coffee is organic, so, perhaps that explains it. My kids fight for the chocolate covered coffee bean that goes with it. Drive through only. read more

Disgusting quality, which might mean disgusting business tactics. They are still using powered (i.e., dehydrated, reconstituted) chai "tea" for their chai tea lattes. If you catch them doing this and press them on it, they will switch to a quality liquid version - the version that they should be using all along, but don't because it saves a few pennies. (In the same way dehydrated milk does). This is SO frustrating for me because I am dying for a Starbucks alternative in Sammamish, but there still isn't one that uses high quality (NOT DISGUSTING) powered @#$@#%@ chai. I will try Mercurys again in a year and see if they are using quality ingredients, but until then, I continue looking for someone to give my money to for daily chai lattes for my commute. read more

It takes a lot to get a 5 star review out of me but these guys deserve it. Best red bull Italian sodas on the planet. I drop by quite often. Everyone is on their game here. Great service and always willing to make you happy. Never screwed up an order here while it takes a while to actually get served because of the old fashioned drive thru set up, when you they do get to you, they make the drink in a flash. The coffee isn't burnt, unlike other places, and my personal drink, drip with hemp milk and bees knees flavoring, is the best.
