The coolest thing about this spot seems to be their rotating specials year round! The lucky charms cold foam my book bestie described from their last year's St. Patrick's day menu sounded drool-worthy. I was super excited to try their Valentine's day offerings. The woman at the counter who took my order was so sweet. She helped me put together the perfect custom drink for me: a 16 oz oat milk dark chocolate mocha with raspberry syrup and raspberry cold foam on top! It was delicious, I loved how fluffy and sweet the cold foam was and the dark chocolate in the mocha was delectably rich. I was also super excited about their diverse pastry selection! I've never seen a raspberry cornetto before and I was super excited to order it. I loved that it was literally like having a croissant with jam which is one of my fave breakfasts! One of my pet peeves is when croissants are too flaky and hard to tear apart with your fingers, but this one was super easy to tear apart and eat, though it still was fairly messy. The cosy atmosphere made it easy for me and my book bestie to spend hours chatting over our drinks. I love the huge windows that allow for so much natural light an incredible view of Mount Sci. I'd definitely love to come back with my watercolours and paint it. Since this is my book bestie's fave coffee shop spot, I'm sure we'll be back here soon! They have several alternative milk options, are very reasonably priced and offer $1 refills on drip coffee, and have lots of pastry (including gluten free, vegan, and gluten-free vegan options!) options as well. The medium drip coffee wasn't my all time fav but wasn't bad either! Staff were super nice, and service was quick. There is a huge amount of indoor and outdoor seating; it was a place where you could both be there to read/study or to catch up with friends. The best part is that the outdoor seating has a beautiful view of Mt. Sai, the most popular hike in the area. We will definitely come back for our coffee needs when passing through North Bend. I reported it and heard nothing back this was about 2 months ago. Update: RVC claims I had not emailed them, and correction on my part it was over a month ago. I emailed the info@rvcoffee.com and the Puyallup location directly and told them to check their cameras. While I was a regular and know that the counters are "large" I also know when suspicious behavior occurs. I tried giving the barista the benefit of the doubt due to being a regular but given the way the owner just responded which was highly dismissive and minimized our experience, it just made it clear you guys don't actually care but want to save face. Parking was easy and the service was helpful and friendly. We ordered a rose cardamom latte (a seasonal special) and a hot chocolate. I loved the rose cardamom because the flavor was there but it wasn't too sweet and I could still taste the espresso. We also got a tasty cinnamon roll which they make onsite. Finding fresh made bakery items had been a challenge on our trip to Olympic NP. There is seating outside and a ton of seating upstairs!!
