I actually live in California but wanted to deliver some sweet goodies to my friend in Issaquah…read more So I googled Issaquah bakeries and found Taste of Amazing. I read that she uses fresh, wholesome ingredients.. something I appreciate. So I contacted Gail for a custom order of 1/2 dozen assorted cookies and 1/2 dozen cupcakes. I just asked for just an assortment of what she had fresh that day. I believe the cupcake flavors were chocolate with cake batter frosting, chocolate peanut butter, coconut and possibly lemon or red velvet. As for the cookies, my friend got chocolate chip, snickerdoodle and peanut butter. Gail was so easy to work with through emails. And when she delivered the goodies, my friend wasn't home, but Gail called me for instructions and I gave her the okay to set it on the porch. She even took a picture for me to show that it was delivered. Couldn't really try the cupcakes and cookies, but my friend loved them! She said they really delicious, fresh and moist. I definitely recommend Taste of Amazing!

The ordering process was easy. I emailed her, told her I was thinking pork tenderloin, gave her my "dealbreakers" and she went to work. The pie and cupcakes were impulse buys, but I am glad that I did! She delivered the food items on Wednesday, and we ate the cupcakes on Friday. They were still moist and delicious. Not too much frosting, so that you could get a good bite with all of the flavors. The pie was essentially for my dad. He loves apple desserts. This pie was crumbly, and the apples still had bite. Plenty of cinnamon (he was concerned) and the sauce was sweet. I totally loved that Gail put the directions right on the package. There was no way I could mess this up! She was a total lifesaver, and I am so pleased that I decided to give her a try. I gave my parents a gift certificate for Christmas, so hopefully they get a chance to try out some more of her entrees. I'll be keeping her on speed dial when I need a little "assistance" in the kitchen!

Excellent customer service! Cleanliness: the store is very clean including all wall and room decor, trash, tables, and chairs. The food prep area is visible from the counter and was neat clean and organized including the floors. There was stuff out, as expected for a working business, but clean none the less! Set up: this pastry shop is veryyyyyyy cozy atmosphere! I can see myself sitting here enjoying coffee with friends, or studying here! Love the lighting, the stained glass windows.. ADORABLE!!! Order: Black Sesame Kouign Ammans. The black sesame was mixed into the dough. I have previously only had them where the filling is black sesame. I love this pastry because of the buttery salty caramelization of the pastry dough as it cooks in the solid metal pan with the proper heat. Having it mixed into the dough was a solid 4/5 stars. My personal preference would be to have it as a filling so you can taste more of the caramelization on the dough and not coupled with the black sesame. I was definitely missing that aspect. It was still an ABOVE average pastry! Pastry filled with Ube cream. Yall I had to sit on face time while my boyfriend and his nephew enjoyed this pastry! I was so jealous, they weren't even talking. I'm asking questions while they were shoveling their pastries and moaning with sheer delight! WOULD I ORDER AGAIN: ABSOLUTELY!!!! Black Sean's enjoying Ammans are hard to come by!!! And now I feel like I need to try this Ube pastry that causes ungodly noises!

When I went there in the afternoon, I could see they had sold out of a lot of things but there were just a few options: cookies, some savory breads, a sweet bread loaf. I purchased the cinnamon swirl bread loaf for $7 which is pricier than the grocery store but cheaper than some artisan bakers at the farmer's market. They also offer coffee and tea drinks at a reasonable price, and whole pies and cakes to order (if I remember correctly). When I got home and tried the bread, I was floored with how good it was. The sweetness and firmness of the bread was just perfect to me. The outer crust is a beautiful brown and just thick enough to provide a little texture and flavor. The swirl is done well - there are no big pockets in the bread. The crumb is compact but not dense. It is easy to slice and enjoyable toasted or as is. I ate it alone, with nut butter, with jam. It would be wonderful as french toast. I dream about the bread and wish I lived closer to purchase it once a week. I also got a gingerbread man cookie which was perfectly seasoned and not dry. Note that the customer area in the front is kind of small so this place is mostly for take-out. I'd like to come back and try more things to see how well they do their other baked goods.

My bf saw that they had a platter of cinnamon rolls (containing four or five rolls), and wanted to try it. He told them if he really likes them, he'll be back the next week, and we were back the next week. My bf loved the cinnamon rolls; he loved it so much, he didn't even share, didn't think of saving me a taste, a bite from the four or five cinnamon rolls he ate all himself. And we went back for more, and luckily we got there in time for their last thing of cinnamon rolls. And I decided to try their Jalapeño Bread, which was good. The staff at the stand were really friendly. We decided to take at least a week break from the Issaquah Farmers Market, because we've been overdoing it on the pastries, but I'm sure we'll be back soon, or at least checkout their shop.

It had a steady flow for an afternoon and we were in and out quick. The negative review is due to driving home and the Apple Fritter was crunchy and overcooked... almost burnt. Understand this might be a franchise or mom and pop owned, but quality issues should be a priority rather than putting items out for consumers that only find out after they left. Each of us ordered a slice of crepe cake, which felt like a perfect way to end the night. Out of the seven slices, my husband's slice was still frozen in the middle. I walked up to the counter where two young guys were working and politely asked if we could get a different slice, since everyone else was already seated and eating. Instead of acknowledging me, they immediately started speaking Chinese to each other without even a simple "one moment" or any indication they were discussing the issue, so I eventually just walked back to our table. About five minutes later, after they had apparently consulted with a woman in the back, one of the guys finally came over and told us they would not exchange the slice because my husband had already tried it. We were all just sitting there, honestly dumbfounded. A basic level of customer service would have been to apologize and swap one slice of cake, especially when you have a whole group there to celebrate. You didn't just refuse to replace a frozen slice of cake--you lost seven customers over the way you handled it. We will not be coming back.
