But smith in waukee is absolutely unthinkable. 3 times this doctor verbally abused me, shouting and making false accusations repeated over and over again. Then, she gets the current doctor scholz involved by spreading rumors and lying. I went for a med check, and scholz brings up medication that wasn't what she told me she was going to change. Then she picks up a bunch of papers, waves them in the air and said, what is this? If I had my wits about me, I would have said you acting crazy. This is a very immature gossipy bunch of women. I doubt that i'm the only one smith has verbally abused. If you were verbally abused by smith in waukee or west des moines put your note in here, the more people tell the less it's gonna happen. Neither of these doctors understands what FM LA is or how it works or what accommodations ate Or how those work, they'd rather gossip and come up with their own weird imaginations. Remember everyone's behavior is their own choice including doctors. Smith eventually kicked me out of her clinic because I was five minutes late. The rule is ten minutes. They weren't busy hanging at the station. . Had supper only the night before .. too lazy to call for diet order. Long story short I was abused it was unfounded due to not being a dependent adult . I'm 5 " 135 lbs and very disabled due to post polio syndrome . Can do personal cares only . Yet two nurses falsified witness statements saying I grabbed a 160lb stocky young nurse and dragged her around the roomtotally impossible. But that wasnt part of their criteria. Old boomer nurse former state inspector, claims analyst. I told Dr Dr defransco , I was up crying all night .,. Told three different staff and gave state their names . I reported to abuse advocate nurse. She agreed with the falsified witness . Got all my records and billing . Reconciled everything . Those two false statements were the only documentation in my chart about my abuse. Where's the missing documentation? Dr defransco knew . No documentation from him about it? I was so upset he offered me to go home early which I took. But I had been telling everyone about my abuse . But he failed to tell me my labs were not even in the low range. . Found that on my labs . Not a safe discharge . no documentation in any records I had called my gp after the abuse . He was the only one that protected me . He documented every word I said. Found Dr defrancso and methowest er billed the highest trauma code for my visit a trauma code? That way they get paid more for their services but u get stuck with what insurance doesn't pay . That called fraud. I was charged for many services I never received yet Medicare paid for . Dr defransco charged full h & p when he never touched me . Missing controlled meds I never got but were billed no documentation about my requests for care, my abuse , my trauma, my crying all night ? They did have a Medicaid review due to this . This is my opinion only but I'veI done this type of reviews for many years my opinion only . This is a total abuse coverup and fraud story . But that just my opinion. I'm just warning people . With Reynolds s restructuring the board of nursing is behind and due to the high number of an abuse cases in nursing homes we are in a real crisis! . However, his nurse Helene is horrible! She asked me if I knew what diarrhea was I have low back pain and Bulging herniated disc and I was going to PT and at the age of 52 with two kids I'm pretty sure I know what diarrhea is. Also, I had to get a referral to the ENT which she never called me after three weeks. I made my own appointment. Also they scheduled an appointment for an MRI for my lower back. I had to wait for it to come in the mail and schedule my own MRI appointment. And it was approved two weeks prior to that so don't count on the nurse to make your appointments and they're horrible at responding. After I had my MRI on February 21 I seen Dr. and he was very good and kind And his nurse was nice. However he did write a note for me to return to work after disability for only 24 hours which reduced my work time and then I lost my medical benefits, life insurance, and short-term disability and long-term disability. I've been asked for Multiple times for them to change my note because I only go twice. I don't need two days off a week which is 14 hours eight hours each day to go to a physical therapy appointment and they would not change my note. So I kept calling and sending notes in the portal and nurse promised to call me back I had four panic attacks because I didn't lose my benefits. She promised to call me back and never did after my physical therapy appointment. I went into the office and Dr. Jay's nurse had a complete attitude with me and made me sit there for two hours and was shaking her head at me and wrote all of my medical a note instead of saying, please allow the patient to return to work but give her time to go to appointments. I absolutely appalled that they would disclose all of my medical records and every appointment that I've been to and my personal information. This violated my HIPAA and I told her that and she told me that once she handed my note to me that it was up to me if I wanted to disclose this to my employer. I had no other give it to my if my benefits back. The there are terrible! I would not recommend going there if you need I don't know what's wrong with our healthcare system, but this is not how you treat people who need help!

His symptoms got worse, and when we continued to contact this facility they advised to stick with the dose. A week later we decided to take him into the ER, and it turned out to be Appendicitis-surgery immediately. Again, I understand that Urgent Care centers have limitations on their abilities. However, a transparent suggestion to seek further medical advice instead of feeding him antibiotics would have been a smart and transparent next step. Very upsetting.
