First of all I would like to say that these guys are honest, and offer VERY competitive pricing and high quality USA made batteries. They offer great customer service and are always friendly. I was compelled to write this review to offset a previous negative review left by Kios328. I just so happened to be in the building when this "lady" (and I use the term "lady" loosely), came in to "buy" her battery. I used quotations around the word buy because she wanted to leave without paying for her battery. I don't know where ANYONE with half a brain would ever let someone leave without paying or leaving ANY information about themselves. (This woman literally peeked her head through the door after having the battery already loaded up and said she would call later with her payment.) When this woman was told she could not leave without paying, she became extremely rude and THREW her credit card across the counter saying that she would never return. She was abruptly told that her attitude would not be tolerated and she would no longer be welcomed as a customer. This transaction was handled extremely well by the staff at Meredith Battery and I urge you to ignore the ramblings of a rude woman with an agenda. read more

Because of their knowledge, professionalism and product quality I have purchased my car, truck and RV batteries from Meredith Battery for the past five years. Mike, in particular, is a battery pro... counseled me a couple years ago on how I was mis-using my Battery Tender on my RV battery... works perfect since then (now that I know what I'm doing). Today, 11-7-19, I stopped by to get a new battery for my Ram pick-up; unsolicited Mike took the time to compare the pros and cons of an AGM battery versus a wet battery , and showing how I could save $50+ going with the wet. I've always received quality batteries at reasonable prices compared to the "chain" stores... oh yeah, installation of truck battery at Meredith's was $10 done in about 13 minutes... I have many pieces of equipment and personal vehicles. I started using Merideth battery about 8 years ago, and now don't bother going anywhere else. They have always had what I needed in stock, ranging from heavy batteries for off road equipment to a small sealed lead-acid for something garden sized. The batteries they carry are the Deka brand made by East Penn and have held up well for me. They will test batteries you bring in to make sure they are bad before selling you a new one. I don't know why one poor review comes up from 2015 (from someone who was angry they wanted to be paid before he left), while 27 other generally 5 star reviews are hidden as "unverified" read more

I have been using Meredith battery for a minimum of 10 years and have always been treated very well knowing that we were buying a better quality battery at a much more affordable price than most automotive parts stores. They offer installation of batteries at a very very affordable price of less than $10 which included is still cheaper than most other stores are charging for just the battery. I will be a lifetime customer knowing that they will treat myself my family and my friends as well as they do. My daughter's car failed to start recently, and I offered to take it to a local business called Meredith Battery. They tested the battery and confirmed that it did need to be replaced, and did that promptly and efficiently. I have purchased multiple batteries at Meredith's over the past 25 years, and I have always received courteous, professional service. This included having the technician once tell me, after testing, that the existing battery was still good and it was not necessary to replace it then! Recently on my travels to PA/NY, experienced a battery issue (caught me off guard, for sure); daughter called Mike and they were more than accommodating and beyond helpful in getting me fixed and ready to roll back to NC!
