My son attends college in the Bay Area. Two weeks ago, the bonded section fell off his front tooth…read morefor the 2nd time. At 10 years old, he fell and chipped it, then when he had braces, the nerve got more damaged, so he had to have a root canal which made his tooth gray and brittle. He found a dentist near his college who was going to charge us $3-4K ($2-3K after insurance) and was going to place a crown, then shave and veneer his other front tooth to match. We weren't happy with another perfectly good tooth being damaged or the cost. By chance, I was flying into town the same day and took him for a haircut when we passed by 32 Dental. I thought it looked nice, the signs indicated that they did the type of work he needed, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Their top dentist and owner, Dr. Kristian Cabugao, saw him the next day, matched and made a near perfect shade/texture crown, and slightly shaped the surrounding teeth to avoid any grinding. Then, he was fitted with a custom top/bottom mouth guard. All of this happened the very next day in 3 hours for under $1K (after insurance)! The other front tooth did not even need a veneer. We were thrilled. A shout out and thank you to Dr. Kristian and the team at 32 Dental!

The ladies…read moreat the front desk are polite and efficient , the hygienist's and other support folks are polite and efficient, and Dr. Duquette may be the best dentist I've ever had. I had a broken crown; which looked terrible; and have an upcoming event that I certainly didn't want to hold with a broken crown. In one day I was seen, evaluated, given options (temporary crown), and walked out with my smile (and confidence) intact. I've had good dentist's in the past but my experience yesterday was incredible. Dr. Duquette and Marina Encore earned my dental care for years to come.

I was told front desk will give me a call in 2 days, they took like a month to call. And then another month for an appointment. Only to be reschedule out in another month. Now reschedule again to who knows how long bc they accidentally scheduled me on a day that the office is closed. Was seen in maybe May/July, currently in August and still haven't been treated yet despite following the proper channels with appointments. They also messed up my wife billing several times, she was stressed over this but was finally able to solved it months later. I'll recommend going elsewhere where the front office staff knows what they are doing. Otherwise, the service they provide is probably on par with the other dental office. I just don't understand, I made an appointment, which means I committed to that appointment. Now they wanted to cancel the appointment bc they were waiting for me to call them to confirm that I was going to that appointment, and then later change the reason why the appointment was cancel was bc it's a day that the dental office is closed... so they were lying before when the initially cancel it was bc I did not call them back a few days ahead to confirm that I was coming in?

My son has received the best care in this office…read more The staff and Dr. Rochelle are AMAZING! Lillian at the front desk was so helpful and reassuring with all my questions. Today my son came in for two fillings under oral sedation and use of laughing gas. The whole team made my son feel extremely comfortable which in turn had me feeling comfortable. My son has several allergies and had many previous reactions so I did come in a little anxious myself. As a manager in healthcare I always tell my staff that we need to treat our patients like family. At todays visit I felt just that from Dr. Rochelle and her team.

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience with this dental office. I want to start by…read moresaying that previously I had not had any major issues with the office, although I had noticed that their procedures seemed to be priced on the higher side. Unfortunately, this experience completely changed my opinion. I paid a $300 deposit for my son's dental appointment. I did not cancel or miss the appointment. We showed up as scheduled, but my son was unable to cooperate, so the services were not performed. When we scheduled another appointment, I was required to pay another $300 deposit instead of having the original deposit applied. Ultimately, I lost $600 in deposits, despite the original treatment never being completed. I spoke directly with the dentist and explained the situation, hoping she would understand and work with me. I did not feel that she showed any sympathy for my situation whatsoever. She ended our call without telling me directly that the money would not be returned. Instead, she had her front desk contact me afterward to inform me that the deposit would not be refunded. I found that extremely disappointing, especially after I had spoken with her personally about my concerns. There was also a major lack of transparency regarding the anesthesia charges. The anesthesiologist told me the dental office had informed them that my son's procedure would take three hours, and I was being asked to pay the full anesthesia cost based on three hours. When I questioned the dentist directly, she told me she could actually complete the procedure in two hours. Had I simply paid what I was originally asked to pay without questioning it, I would have paid for an additional hour of anesthesia that apparently was not needed. That situation made me question the transparency of the entire billing process. Between losing $600 in deposits and discovering the discrepancy in the estimated anesthesia time, I no longer felt comfortable moving forward with this office. I tried to resolve this directly with the dentist before sharing my experience publicly, but unfortunately, nothing was resolved. I fully expect the office may respond to this review with an explanation or justification, but I wish that same effort had been put into actually resolving the issue with me when I contacted them directly. A response to a review does not change the fact that I lost $600 or address the concerns I raised. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend that parents get all deposit policies, procedure costs, estimated anesthesia times, and refund policies in writing before paying anything and ask all the questions you have.
