WARNING: The office was tidy, but not clean. The sample glasses were dirty with fingerprints and i had an early morning appointment. The technicians were were nice, but one couldn't figure out how to use one of the machines and needed help. It was the one that touched the eye ball to detect pressure. That was rather unnerving. The normal doctor was out of the country so there was a stand in. That person was nice and clean, but missed that I have a prism in my lense. When I pointed it out his response was "Well it's very small." I don't care how small it is, he missed it! I picked out $200 frames and after insurance (which is quite good) the price to me was still over $800! That's ridiculous. I have a basic perscription with one 'small' prism! Once I said no to that, the persons attitude changed, and she turned her back on me ; I became invisible. Two days later I get a call saying I needed to have a special test done to see if i am going to have an occular stroke! Oh and insurance doesn't cover it. Funny that was the same 'dire' phone call my husband received. He did the test and it was nothing. I suspected fowl play here. So I got my exam notes over to a different doctor and he says there is nothing to indicate that I need to have that scan. And yes, the cost of those glasses frames was way too high! WARNING !!!! I respect Dr. Youseffi as she is competent and good with determining optimal eyeglass prescriptions, but the overall process for a follow-up visit to monitor my eye disease progression consisted of collecting images with a medical assistant and no consult with Dr. Youseffi. I would receive a follow-up phone call only if anything is of concern. I suspect she was not available and this was the excuse, or if this is the current process, then this has become too much of a hustle. Staff are overall friendly, but I'm saddened to say that I will not be returning in the future given this experience. read more

OK. I had to renew my contact lens prescription and the first thing the eye doctor asked was if I had my old prescription with me?! He wasn't too pleased knowing I did not bring my information - which clearly I didn't think I had to considering he should be a professional in his field. I guess not. First, during the contact lens fitting he gave me 3 different toric lenses to try on for my left eye. I couldn't tell right away if the lenses worked for me since new lenses overall requires adjusting. I asked if I needed to come back for a consultation to see if these were the right lenses. He said no that there was no need to. OK. After 2 weeks trying to get my eyes to adjust, I realized the lenses were not working for me at all. Especially the left eye - toric lenses. I scheduled an appointment, and the first thing the doctor asked was "whats going on?" - he didn't look pleased that I was back to check the fitting. I made sure I brought my older lenses and I showed it to him, trying to help with a more accurate reading with my vision. Unfortunately, he didn't put much effort and wrote me a prescription for my old lenses? Like I know enough at least to be SURE that my eyes did change in some way after 2 years. You cannot tell me my eyesight is the exact same as it were 2 years ago -- I was left extremely confused at how this doctor quickly dismissed me. Giving me my old prescription was a lazy way out. This doctor was extremely unprofessional and not that great at his job. Sorry but I don't recommend this place. read more

I wouldn't recommend. Was told I had high eye pressure and was scheduled for testing. I had several tests consisting of 3 visits, no cause found. Pretty expensive, 6 months later they wanted to do the same tests, ok... no cause found, , try these eye drops, yeah that works, Ill call in a prescription, more $$. CVS calls and says they won't cover that brand,ok, I call the office and tell them..... nothing, no follow up...I called again, they apologized.... still no prescription, and THEN I get " sent to collections " How unprofessional. And today, 12-14-22, I get a test AND an email, telling me to make an appointment so I can "use my benefits before the end of the year" Sure I will... when monkeys fly out of my....... read more

BEWARE - initial visits started well... however, things went sour when we went in on subsequent visit for a specific test. After waiting over an hour to see the dr. her testing equipment would not work so we left. Somehow, we still got charged for an office visit and some other test that wasn't part of what we came in for. Billing and office manager would not see where serviced was dropped, only what is owed. Treating a client like a number is not what I expected from this small practice. I guess nickel and diming is more important to them than maintaining a long term relationship/years of service from my entire family. totally disappointed... In response to the owner's response: hearing the dr. telling us "I don't know why the equipment is not working" should not be billed at $140/office visit. Choosing to forego the future income you could have generated from my family for years to come over $160 of still 'questionable' billing speaks volume. I have been going here for almost 3 years and I honestly don't know why I keep coming back. I officially am leaving this practice and taking my money elsewhere. The MD was fine on each annual exam, but when they called me to pick my contacts up. I thought I was gonna be able to go right after work but life happens so I wasn't able to go until the next day. When I arrived they had a sign on the door saying only like 2-3 days out of the week you can pick up contacts. While I thought to myself well they called me so I'll be able to still get my contacts. The girl inside said since there is no MD in the office I can't receive my contacts that WERE ALREADY PRESCRIBED to me. Which makes no sense, and said that she told me over the phone. Which she didn't because if she did why would I go OUT OF MY WAY to go get them. Then another occasion, I called to make sure they still doing price matching. I told the girl the site and looks it up and gives me a $20 (higher) difference. I told her that's not what it says on the site! And her response was well we can only do it by what our computer says and even if you come in and show us on your phone (which I'm assuming it's happened before) that they can't go by that price only what they see. Now I'm sorry but how stupid is that?! And just to make sure I wasn't going crazy I looked on my phone AND the internet at work and both were still the same price. The staff was very kind and after leaving I felt like I had received a better quality prescription than from other doctors. However, the place lacks communication. Months after having several appointments I received a several hundred dollar bill and every time I tried to call to ask about it the billing staff member was away. They would schedule me for an appointment and then tell me after I was there that the doctor was away so I needed ANOTHER appointment. Its a scam. Ive canceled all appointments and will never set foot in the building again read more

If you want a routine exam dont come here. You will end up with a 500 dollar bill like I did. They said oh you had a medical diagnosis. Never mentioned in my exam anything about that I went there expecting to use my vision plan with a 0 payment. They will rip you off. read more

I went for a routine vision exam. Ended up having all these photos done without my knowledge that it would go to my medical insurance. I have vsp and they sent it to my medical insurance so i ended up getting a very expensive bill. That i will not pay. Beware she will trick you into testing and send things to your medical without you knowing. Dr. is very competent. Beware of excessive extra charges for undisclosed tests. I was charged 3 seperate times for things the staff missed in billing and a month later for a test performed that was not needed or paid for by insurance and not explained to me before hand. Beware! read more
