On July 16, 2026, she came into the branch to obtain her monthly cashier's checks. As she has done every month for years, I politely asked if someone could make a copy of the checks for my mom. This has always been done as a courtesy without any issue. This time, however, the new manager refused my request. I was very surprised and disappointed. My mom is 91 years old and does not own a copier, which is why I have always appreciated this small act of kindness from your staff. What upset me the most was not simply being told "no," but that no exception was made for a long-time, loyal customer. After more than five decades of banking with Wells Fargo, I expected better customer service and a little compassion. Small gestures like this make a big difference, especially for elderly customers.This experience has made made my mom question whether she should continue banking with Wells Fargo or move her accounts to another bank where customer service and loyalty are valued. Nicole, the bank manager and I , had to have numerous conversations about the acceptance policy of the bank notes.
