Today, I went in to make a simple deposit into my account -- I had my account number, but I forgot my ID. The teller looked at me and said, "I know I've helped you before without your ID, but today I need it." So apparently, Wells Fargo changes its rules depending on the day or the teller's mood. There was no effort to help, no professionalism, and absolutely no courtesy toward a long-time customer who's supported this bank for years. Instead of providing a solution, I was basically dismissed. I expected much better from Wells Fargo -- especially from a branch that's handled all my business accounts. Nicole, the bank manager and I , had to have numerous conversations about the acceptance policy of the bank notes. Once so learned all the bank rules, I KINDLY followed and brought another deposit with a piece of a one dollar bill missing. The tellers, AND the manager berated me while I waited for them for over 20 mins- and not only deny the one dollar bill with two different tellers, but to "print the rules for me" - which DIDNT happen because as she tries yelling to read the rules from the BACK OF A WALL she realized i was Repeating exactly what she had already told me AND- THEY HAD TO MAKE THE DEPOSIT WITH THE DOLLAR BILL MISSING A PIECE.
