This is a good cool hood spot. My homeboy took me over here cuz he said he use to come here when he was in college cuz they had the cheap specials. I got the whiting special that comes with 3 pieces of fish and fries for $3.49. Everything was good. I'm definitely hittin this place up again!

I love going here being that I stay on Lee St this place isn't far from my place of residency , all I do is call big boy before I am about to come up there I tell em sir let me get 2 specials 1 with an extra piece of fish and the other 1 just regular matter of fact I am about to call them now Don't let the neighborhood full you , they have the best whitting special in Atlanta and the Entire AUC college kids get like 10 % off don't quote me now .

This is ONLY a take out spot... I think of it as a fish hut. Been going here for years as they have the best fried fish in Atlanta. Customer service- there really is none- just give your order sit in the bench and wait for your number to be called. There are goats in the back sometimes- I always give them my bread. But the fish- banging, onion rings or fries- crispy. The price- cheap! Despite the fact the place looks shoddy- it is what it is- a fish hut...

This isn't my first time here, i've had the croaker dinner here before. They aren't my favorite fish joint in atlanta but their aren't many places to get fish in this town. Yeah it isn't a pretty place but what fish market is, I guess if you grow up with these little shops around town that sell whitting, tilapia, or salmon you are missing the point. Decent fish, doesn't smell and good whole fish, hummm? Sounds like a fish market plus how nice can it be considering they are in The Bluff.

A coworker of mine told me about this spot, and said they have asn AUC special for just a couple of dollars! I dove on the idea of getting a quick inexpensive meal. I was pleasantly surprised by the portions. We got the chance to chat up Robert behind the counter and learned that they have been open for 27 years. Im glad to see black owned businesses with longevity operating in the area. I will say the facility itself leaves alot to be desired, and is in great need of a swift make-over and revitalization in 2018. Merkerson's word of the year should be revitalization. That applies to the structure, the customer service, and definitely the branding.

Really fresh fish. I get the whiting special. I am a little concerned that there is no posted inspection grade, but the special is delish.

You have to get one of the big shopping carts out the parking lot yourself. The produce section is huge and loaded with the freshest produce. The prices look bigger than Kroger put on the same level as Publix. This place is essentially an international market mixed with a farmer's market .The seafood section is humongous. I got some sushi, grilled Markel, and chicken fried rice from the korean section. In the butcher section, I got pork belly, goat, lamb, chicken wings, and pork shoulder. All the food was amazing.

I purchased a pack of tofu along with some other items on March 11. I open the fridge a few days later on March 15, finally ready to prepare the tofu, just to see that the exp date on the pack was March 10. This picture was taken March 15 upon this discovery. I meant to update this review a while ago. I just can't spend money here anymore knowing that I'm liable to accidentally purchase old products. As customers, we should not have to be this vigilant at a grocery store... it's ridiculous.

No alcohol is served and this establishment, but you can bring your own. Parking was very accessible, which you did have to pay for parking, which is no problem. It was very inexpensive. Walking towards the venue, it was a small quaint establishment with a great amount of sunlight, great customer service and an open area that you can order food. I would definitely recommend that you pull up the menu to view upon ordering your food, that way it can go much smoother. I was able to order multiple items such as the mussels which were delicious, crab avocado salad, which was amazing and the Caesar salad with grouper added was even better. There are a variety of items that you can order on a daily basis. Being that this venue is small, I would recommend that you come a little bit earlier, especially if you have a group of friends. You could sit outside or inside but spacing is very limited so keep that in mind. If you have any food allergies, make sure you communicate that when you are ordering. The bathroom is available, but not as accessible for a customer. Lastly, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that is looking for some great food, parking or customer service. Can't wait for my next visit.

It's usually just walk in unless you get a large amount. Since it was mother's day weekend we decided to reserve one of their "sacks". The rate we got for the "sack" was $4.99/lb. Each sack weighed different. I believe the regular price was $5.49/lb. Still a very fair price for the quality and the size of the crawfish. For our 36lb sack there was probably 15-20 dead crawfish. I would say that's not too bad. It was fun for the kids to see the critters and chase them around with them for a bit. We also got some blue crab. The males and females were priced differently and paid per lb after they were bagged. Another thing is that they do offer ice for the crawfish but I forgot to check if they put it in the bag and they forgot. Luckily they were still fine when we got back to my parents house 1hr away! They also had tanks full of other types of live seafood like shrimp, fish, lobster.. etc. Overall, amazing place to find fresh seafood in bulk!
