Recently purchased catfish fillets and unfortunately the fillets were vey boney had to cut away at least a pound of meat just to get rid of the bones. Love coming here. The workers and owner are super nice and always friendly. They get live blue crab which i enjoy but also have a slew of all fresh seafood you could want, along with all the trimmings and extras needed for a boil or steam session. Have got all kinds of food there. It reminds me of an old school seafood shop from when i was kid. Dont see places like this that much anymore. Prices are arent bad either. Only thing i can nitpick is i wish they have live crawfish but their ready to order crawfish is fresh well. read more

So I have passed this location so many times while living in S Fulton but I never stopped. MY FAULT!! We were having a fish fry and me not being from the South, I really don't care for whiting with the skin-on. I wanted skinless. I called and they have an automated system that tells you what they have fresh for the day as well as the previously frozen. I bought all the skinless whiting they had. The service was fast. The staff was friendly. They even told me if I waited maybe 20 mins there would be more skinless whiting available and to me, that's awesome service! The fish us packed with ice so it stays cold on your way home. Its definitely worth the drive, if they have what you want. read more

Went to Fulton Bay Seafood and purchased some fresh oysters. I am so happy I found this seafood market because I cook with a lot of fresh seafood. This was a perfect find. When you walk in it doesn't smell fishy but smells like fresh seafood. This will definitely be one of my go to seafood markets for years to come. read more

Social distancing and wearing masks are absolutely enforced. Just came to see if they had raw oysters available, they did. $2.59 a pound. I ordered $18.88 worth, that is what the 2 bags came up to. There was a good amount of Oysters in them and when we chargrilled them they were delicious. Will for sure be going back for more. So glad they aren't too far from my house.. read more

First let me say if you are driving too fast you will pass it. It is a small fish market with a selection that seems to vary from time to time, when some people came who are clearly regulars didn't see what they wanted they left so I new the fish changed from time to time. The employees were very friendly and had everything I needed to make a meal. Some of the fish appeared butchered a bit while they took the skin/meat off the bone so watch out for that before you purchase your fish. They also have an area where you can buy vegetables to the side which is nice. read more

The spot to go for fresh seafood and quick service. Arrive early to beat the crowd because people are waiting in parking lot before it opens. I have gotten fish, oysters, crawfish, and produce from here. We have had no complaints on the taste or freshness so far. I will be back for my next order soon. read more

They get everything fresh which makes sense why they wouldn't be open early in the week when they out in the field catching product. Fresh fish and very friendly staff! My only issue with my recent visit was all of the fish was to be butterflied,however some pieces were butchered. This is my go to place for fresh fish,and crabs too. They usually have a nice selection of fish. They clean them the way you like. The prices are reasonable. It seems to be owned by a family. They also offer fruit ,vegetables and boiled peanuts. The customer service is great. It's real clean inside and outside. Sometimes the wait can be a little lengthy. Today I order 2 blue fish,2 spots and I got a pound of shrimp. They give you ice to keep your fish cool on the drive home. read more

Not going back any time soon. But I'd like to start with the pros of this particular business, and then wind down with cons. Pros: 1. The seafood is Very reasonably priced. 2. The seafood is also Fresh. 3. They offer a variety of fish / seafood. (Although today, when I visited, there was no salmon. I'd give them a call to inquire about what they have before making the drive over.) 4. They also sell fresh vegetables, lemons, and what looked like firewood in a side room inside this business. 5. They have friendly, mostly helpful service. Everyone was kind, especially the cashier. These are the Cons: 1. From the moment you walk in, of course you smell the fish. (But it's a fish market, so, yeah.) 2. Their Catfish "Fillets" actually have a large portion of bones in them. (When I got home, I tried to cut these bones out, and wound up cutting about 1/4 to 2/4 of each of my fish away. So in a way, I paid for portions I will not be eating. I paid for more lbs. than I intended to purchase because of the bones they left in the fish.) To me, this was especially frustrating. I'm used to my Catfish Fillets being "filleted"!! 3. Similar to a DMV, they have a number system, where you pull a number and wait your turn for service/business. (Unfortunately, this was not indicated to me when I first walked in, and so I wound up being there longer than I'd intended, because like everyone else w/a number, I had to wait my turn.) 4. Old men WILL cut in front of you in line if you're not careful. 5. When you include tax, their prices are pretty much comparable to that of your local Publix, or Whole Foods Fish Market. To sum it all up - I went here for the first time today, as I'd been meaning to visit for months and my local Publix was out of catfish. I'd heard that the prices here were very reasonable and the quality of their seafood was high. This business happens to be about 20 miles away from me, so it was a drive, but I figured it would be worth it. In my case, I was wrong, but I'm glad I got the experience. If you're a suburbian or city girl like me, who's used to purchasing fresh fish from your local grocer, free of bones and easy to cook, I'd say stick to your local, familiar stores. This is a down-home, southern country establishment, with bony fish, but good, kind souls. Not my thing, but I'm glad I tried it. read more

I love this place!! Besides it being a block from my house which makes it more amazing, but the fish is soooo good! They filett the fish so nicely and the fish looks beautiful on display. I always get my salmon here and wow, great color, looks pretty, and full of meat. I go home and either make my blackberry or honey-bourbon sause with it and I'm in heaven!! The family that works there are divine and all around sweet. I'm a regular :) Oh P.S. the reason that they are not opened on some day is because this is a fresh fish store which means they have to have shippments of fish shipped to the store and they have to clean and expected them before the customers get it. read more

I've only visited twice (in the past week) and I'm already in love! I'm a New Orleans native so I crave seafood constantly and I'm always looking for good boiled crawfish. They have delivered! They have plenty of fish options and a variety of shell fish. I also love that I can get everything I need for a fish fry there. I will certainly be a regular. read more
