I had been looking for a place that was upfront about their prices and that I could book online. Clique definitely fulfilled this. I scheduled an appointment with Hannah for the day that I wanted. I didn't have to wait long to be shown back to a room, though while I waited I was given water and an "antioxidant" nut and chocolate mix to enjoy. The candles in the waiting area also smelled divine. Hannah expertly got my brows back in shape with minimal sting from the wax in the allotted 30 minutes. And I spent roughly $30 including tip. Clique has several services to choose from, including great products to peruse. I'll be coming back!

This review is for quality of lash extensions only. All other aspects of this business are 5 stars…read more After a few months of getting lash extensions here, my natural lashes started crumbling. Natural lashes have a 4-6 week shed cycle but in my 4+ years of having extensions, I started seeing gaps more frequently after coming to Skintuition. Additionally, during two of the appointments, lash artist, Iliana, glued multiple lashes to my lower lid and had to rip them off. Ouch!! I noticed that the quality of the application was poor when I could not run a spoolie through my lashes. Spoolie got caught on large clumps of glue and would make lashes turn up, fall over, or just fall out (within 1 week). Appropriate retention rarely held past 1 week. I'm leaving this lash artist frustrated mainly because my natural lashes are now weak, I have gaps, and I'm not able to get an appropriate full-set applied for another 4-6 weeks due to the damage caused. I was forced to get Iliana's work removed and evaluated because I left feeling like maybe I was the problem. Maybe my lashes were having issues holding her work. She claimed that I was the only person having these issues.... Nope. The new lash artist (14+ years experience) advised me that lliana's extension quality had caused a significant amount of damage to my natural lashes. I would understand if Skintuition was charging model prices for this quality of work, but to pay 100+ dollars for volume fills only to have to return (on multiple occasions) 2-3 days later to have them filled again!!! Is ridiculous. I've uploaded photos of Iliyana's work (only 2 weeks post full-volume set!) to show the large clumps of glue, extensions that pulled out my natural lashes but still held on while stuck to the other ends of extensions!, extensions stuck together, and the gaps in my naturals. After having experience with 10+ artists and over 4 years of experience with extensions, I'm only leaving this review to spread awareness of my experience because this work must be supervised and reevaluated. *And please don't respond asking me if I performed my aftercare correctly. This work has nothing to do with aftercare.*

Shelby always remembers my family and asks how they are doing. Denise also asks and they both are just so kind and neither have a bad bone in their bodies. Anyway, just sharing a picture of my hair to see the varieties I've had the past 4ish years from Shelby. Additionally, I have a very sensitive head and Shelby does her best to try not to hurt me. And since I live in Lexington, she always makes appointments work for me. And Shelby also waxes eyebrows and does it fairly painless. Excellent work as always! And she does Keratin smoothing treatments about twice a year to my hair. Really helps when I straighten my hair and keeps the frizz down in my hair significantly. The first visit I scheduled with Denise, but did not find out I was seeing another stylist until I got there. It appeared Denise had scheduled someone else that was overlapping my appointment. Luanne was kind enough to volunteer to do my hair to help Denise, unfortunately it was apparent she had never done a true blowout. I could tell because she was asking Shelby how to use the curling wand. That was probably my sign to leave, but I thought I would give her a chance. Although Luanne was nice, she did a terrible job. She was very rough when using the round brush on my hair - it's surprising that I had any hair left. She dropped the blow dryer on my head and the curling wand. She tried to style my hair so it would look nice the next day, and didn't even bother to ask if I had somewhere to be that night (which I did). Evidently her arm or hand gives out occasionally - which makes me wonder why she's still doing hair. The blowout was not a true blowout and looked terrible. By the time the appointment was over, I was hungry and wanted to get the heck out of there and to my dinner, so I just gritted my teeth and told them it was good. I texted Denise later showing her there were sections of my hair without curl and after some back and forth she agreed to give me a do-over after Derby. She was VERY difficult to deal with, even tried to blame everything on me. Denise also explained to me that the blowout Groupon is for only straight hair. (This was not in the fine-print of the Groupon.) She said they canceled the blowout Groupon due to the misunderstanding of what a blowout is. In another text she even said she doesn't take Groupons - how does that even make sense? When I first got my Groupon in Feb, I made an appointment for June. Two days before my appointment she asked if I could come at a later time, but I couldn't. She then proceeded to tell me to show up early or on-time because she was going to have to work me in between her 530 - basically she was going to work on me while her color customer was processing. Evidently Denise cannot figure out how to make a schedule. While I am always on-time or early to my appointments, I decided to cancel since I don't prefer to share my appointment with someone else. She believes it's perfectly acceptable to work on multiple people at one time. I prefer to have the sole attention of the stylist. I canceled my June appointment and went ahead and got a full refund from Groupon ($55). Overall, I would not recommend ANYONE to come here. Denise was very difficult to deal with and you might have to share your appointment with someone else.
