I like how they do nails thats not the issue, the issue is, they will tell you a higher price for the service than what the menu says. When you inform them that the price on the menu says something different they try to say they have to update the menu. There's no way a powder fill in should cost more than a full set. There's noway that I get overcharged and can't get what I orginally wanted because the nail tech was moving slow. They told me 45mins it took her lil over an hour for a basic fill in. No designs , and only 1 color which was the same powder color I originally had. They told me to come back and I still have to pay 20$ more dollars on top of the 60$... its getting out of control! read more

I would not go back. The technician was very nice and my toes look wonderful. I got a gel pedicure. The massage chair was comfy and the settings were nice. I disliked how dark it was inside, it smelt like a weed vape pen, the receptionist was ALWAYS on her phone, and they only take Venmo. I also didn't like the non-transparency in the prices. I got a sea salt pedicure which said it was 43, then at the end my total was 75 without tip. I would ask for a total before you start, I wish I did. read more

My husband and I had pedicures together this afternoon. My husband was very happy with his pedicure, but I had the young thin guy who didn't do a very good job and was soooooooo SLOW. He never really gave me a massage and he used the hot stones for 2 seconds and poked me with his sharp fingernails. Then, he took way tooooo LONG on my nails and didn't give me a shiny gel too after the dip process. To top it off, he made my nails way too short. I asked for a short cut/ trim, but not as short as he made them. When I return, I hope to have one of the more competent ladies. I previously was going to a shop that I had been loyal to for about 4 years. The business they were doing wasn't consistent with how things were previously. So I decided to wanted to go somewhere different! I looked on yelp and went through reviews on google and decided to take a chance. I saw KiKi's name and figured I'd see if I can make an appointment with her. I was able to get in for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The person on the phone Mr. T was extremely nice to me and made it a breeze scheduling an appointment. Once I got to the shop it was very spacious on the inside and several people spoke to me as I came in. You can tell everyone works together as a team and really care about the service they are providing. A lot of the techs there were very friendly and as a first time customer they included me in conversation and made me laugh. KiKi is super personable and she is very articulate with her work. I've never had a nail salon give me a foot/leg and hand massage. I would say if you're looking for a good nail shop and some girl time I'd totally suggest this place. Would give it 0 stars if i could. First, when I walked in, they sat me down at an empty bowl and it took them forever before someone came by and actually put water in my bowl for my pedicure. Next, I asked the lady continuously for a square shape. She messed my shape all the way up and made it crooked. Not square at all. They didn't give me a menu to pick my pedicure in the beginning. I had to ask for so many things that they were supposed to already do. the lady that was doing my nails didn't do so many things that usually come with a normal pedicure. She was being rude and didn't listen to anything I said. When I got done, my feet weren't even dry. I was so upset. I just paid and left. I came outside and the paint looks cheap. You can see through it. They didn't do enough coats. It's horrible DO NOT GO here if you're just looking for something quick. My usual nail salon was closed so I came here for an alternative. HORRIBLE. Was a client of many years, it was good until it wasn't. Looking back now, I ignored a lot of red flags about this salon..who should really be reported to state board. I went in this last time to get a full set for vacation...I left with HURTING & BLEEDING fingers, on top of that the nail tech DRILLED THROUGH MY NATURAL NAIL. I wen't back in requesting a refund, I was very kind about doing so as well..I was met with attitude from the owner (T's wife) and told I would not get one but that they could fix it, not really sure how you fix sliced up fingers. She ended up giving me a partial refund. Later that day my sister went into the shop and they bombarded her with questions about who she was, who I was, and what my phone number was! Very unprofessional and she left feeling violated and scared. She was also told by her nail tech that the owner said I needed to come back into the shop and apologize..I'm sorry for what exactly? I'm the one who got her nails beat up and then disrespected by said owner. About a month or so later I called the store to schedule another appointment to come back in and try again but the owner hung up on me every time I called, especially after giving her my name. I'm assuming they saved my number when they found out what it was. I have never been so disrespected by a company in my life for doing nothing wrong and being a loyal costumer for years. I will also mention they have issues with their nail techs charging more than their supposed to, this is a conversation they had together in front of me when I had a late appointment so BEWARE of being over-charged. Also sanitary wise, not the best..they are definitely doing things not approved of by state. I will never step foot in this business again. read more

I already wrote a review previously! They never disappoint! Definitely the best nail place in Louisville (and I have been to quiet a few before finding this gem). I've been coming here for almost a year and have never left unhappy. I have always gone to Tee, and have sent plenty of people to the salon and they have never been disappointed. Their salon is clean and sanitation on point. To the person that decided to leave a review on their baseboards and vents, I'm glad you didn't enjoy your service because you were too busy being the baseboard police and worried what other nail techs were doing. There's a reason why I come back. And baseboards are definitely not a reason why I wouldn't be back, especially since the service is always 110%. They charge an extra $5 just to use the OPI infinite shine nail polish, total rip off! Anyone can buy a bottle of the polish for $6+ on EBay. So if you want this polish, bring your own. Love, love, love this place! It is 20 to 30 minutes from me depending on traffic but I am over the other nails places. Inconsistant service, and messing up my nails. I saw an employees nails at Nordstrom Rack and loved them so much I decided to try it out myself. I have gotten my nails done (acrylic with gel polish) 4 times by them and one deluxe pedicure with the hot stones etc. I was not let down any time. They provide excellent customer service and all of their nail technicians I have had were skilled. They are well priced and worth every penny. They don't try and upsell a ridiculous amount like some places. Bring pictures of what you want and they will make it happen. read more

I wouldn't recommend going because there were too many people which ultimately took a toll on my nails. He rushed so fast thru the nails and there was a mixup in what I wanted. I told the lady that came up to me that I needed acrylic nails and pedi. I got the pedi and it was nice. When he told me to go to the front to pay, I let him know that I asked for acrylics. I was out in a new chair and waited for a bit. When it did get to me, I wasn't far into my nails when another lady approached the gentleman that was doing my nails and said she had An appointment 25 minutes ago. So...making an appointment does not get you out of waiting. Also not everyone knows the same types of nails. One can do dip, and one can do acrylics and another gel etc. I feel like everyone should. I have been a customer at this location for FOUR years. I absolutely loved coming here and the services I received. I always made an appointment and was on time for appointment sometimes I would have to wait but I didn't mind because Tee does such a good job. About a year or so ago I started to notice a difference in the way Jessica his wife was treating me. I always made the appointments and would sometimes be refused the day I needed because she said it took to long as if I was inconveniencing them. I always accommodated there schedule and went about my business. She continued to rush him most of the times I was being serviced and gave me a feeling that my business wasn't appreciated or needed. i went to my appointment Saturday 6/25 and showed him what I wanted and he did it, it took a little while but also I was not taken right at my appointment time. He seemed frustrated I kept apologizing and went to pay. I always pay cash because that is what they request. His daughter who is maybe 10/11 years old came to the front and checked me out. She told me my total which was 60$ more than they ever charged me. But no questions asked I paid it anyways it was $150 I counted it three times before giving it to her said have a great day and left. I was genuinely curious as to why it was so much I've gotten so much more done in the past so I reached out asking if pricing changed and to make my next appointment. Amber answered the phone and said she would feel more comfortable with Jessica making my appointment and asked if I could call back. When I called back she didn't ask about my appointment but stated do you know you only gave my daughter $120. I assured her I did not give her $120 I gave her $150. I know exactly how much money I had in my wallet as I only carry cash to pay them which is what they requested. Jessica didnt say anything but that Tee would call me back. I continued trying to reach out and see what the issue was they refused to take my phone call and hung up on me multiple times. I texted his personal number trying to get in touch and see what was going on. He never responded and I was ignored and hung up on again when trying to call the shop. He then texted me and said he could no longer do my nails. No explanation or offer to review cameras or anything to see if they had made a mistake. As I stated she is 10-11 years old and could have easily miscounted and has never cashed me out before. I have been in customer service and handling cash for 8 years . I always consciously count and recount cash to make sure it is correct before paying. I'm so upset and am truly surprised they would treat me this way. I have always treated them respectfully and recommended so many people here. If they can treat a loyal customer here this way, they will treat you the same way. I always paid with a card until they started requesting cash if someone of appropriate age would have cashed me out or I could've paid with a card then this would've been easily avoided. read more

Nothing better than a pedicure! What a luxury! I had heard about this salon, so I decided to give it a go. I was a walk-in. Salon looked identical to every Asian salon I have visited. I was greeted immediately by a gentleman who was giving a manicure. He asked me what I needed. I said men's manicure/pedicure. He asked me to have a seat and someone would be with me. As I sat there, he said something not in English and a younger man responded. After a couple of minutes, the younger man brought a sign up and hung it in the lobby area, "Due to increase in supplies, prices have increased." The mani/pedi went from $38 to $41 dollars. I was seated. After the soak started, I turned on massage chair. It was messed up. The younger guy noticed, then moved me to a chair that worked. After 20 minutes, the young lady who performed my nail service appeared. The service went fine. The overall job was decent, nothing more. The woman whose nails she had done prior to me came back twice to have them fixed. When I was done with manicure, she asked me to wash my hands. I did. Service complete. No hand lotion? I paid, tipped and left. Doubt I'll be back. I have my m/p whenever I visit Chicago, and have for over 20 yrs. I guess I've been spoiled with the quality of the service there, not to mention they generally run specials all over town for about 32-35 bucks. Edit: I had to take this restaurant from 3 stars down to 1. I woke up the next morning with two of my toes displaying clipped and inflamed toenails. I stopped by there to have my shellac nail polish taken off since I was in the area and didn't have time to drive to my ususal salon.. They told me they charge $6 and my salon charges $3 but it would have cost me $3 in gas so I let them go ahead. After they took it off they told me they have a $10 minimum for credit/debit cards which they failed to mention beforehand. Irritated, I gave the girl a $4 tip on the receipt to meet the $10 minimum because I didn't have any cash on me. Imagine my surprise/frustration when I got my bank statement and found they charged me $16 to remove my shellac! The bank said I had to refute it with the owner whom barely spoke English and it was a battle. She made me get copies of my statement and I had to threaten to get my bank involved in order to get the money refunded. I would suggest Q-Nails in Springhurst. The staff was so rude and I NEVER take the time to write bad reviews, but the lady doing her toes didn't say one word, put one coat on walked away and didn't come back for 30 minutes! No one said anything to us. Finally the guy sitting next to us just said "you can go". That was it. Very odd. Then a young girl at the checkout said $6 I got out my card and she was so nasty and said we only take cash under $10. Not the cleanest place. They need to dust and clean the glass, baseboards, walls, and floors... and seriously improve their sanitation. They should repaint the baseboards. Employees seem to try and the service is about average. One employee was pausing from painting nails so that she could do text messages and then talking on her cell while painting.
