Siren Song Villa is absolutely an awesome getaway for two. The Villa has everything you can think…read moreof and more - from beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, and bag to a blender, champagne glasses, cookie tray, and an ice cream scooper. There is absolutely nothing you need to travel with other than your sun glasses and bathing suit.
The Villa appears to have recently been remodeled. There are brand new kitchen appliances that my wife and I took full advantage of while visiting. We stayed in Siren Song Villa for a week and only ate out for two meals. We took great advantage of the provided cooler making sandwiches for lunch on the beach. The basic spices and condiments came in great use and saved us a lot of money from buying them all.
The bathroom was impeccable as well. It too looked newly renovated. Most importantly, in my eyes at least, the water pressure was superb. There is a large dispenser on the shower wall providing good quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Making it one less thing to pack or purchase.
The bedroom is where we spent most of our time when we were inside the Villa simply because there was so much to do we were always out and about, or sitting and/or eating on the absolutely stunning balcony (I'll get to the balcony in a second). Regarding the bedroom, the bed was extremely soft and comfortable. If it wasn't for the breathtaking views and sounds of the ocean that you awake to every morning we would never of gotten out of bed.
The living and eating area was nice and roomy. I would like to say fortunately we didn't spend much time in this space. Like I said before, most of our time was spent taking advantage of the balcony. Like every other room the owners significantly thought about the guests here too. Provided is a television, wiFi, Netflix, Roku, a deck of cards, scabble, dominoes, and an abundance of literature that we took advantage of reading while sitting on the balcony planning our next excursion.
The main attraction of Siren Song Villa was without a doubt the awe-inspiring views from the balcony. We couldn't spend enough time on the balcony. We began our days there having breakfast and ended most our evenings there having a candle lite dinner watching the sunset and having one last glass of wine or beer while star gazzing listening to the waves crashing against the rocks below. The memories alone of sitting on this balcony starring over the teal blue waters of the Caribbean and Atlantic Oceans at St. John and Jost Van Dyke make me want to plan my next vacation back to Siren Song Villa.
Pros: Siren Song is located close to the end of the road away from the pools making it quiet and private.
Cons: Due to St. Thomas' terrain Point Pleasant Resort, like most resorts in St. Thomas, is located on a hill. Therefore, there are steps to climb to the pools and beach. Thankfully, there are absolutely no steps up or down to Siren Song Villa from the parking lot.
Recommendations: Moe's supermarket in Red Hook, Linquist Beach, Sugar Beach, Rental car for duration of trip, Margaritaville Restaurant (wear flat enclosed water shoes if you're going to walk along the beach- if it's high tide you may have to step into a few inches of water for a yard or two), Point Wellness Spa, and the middle Pool.
Over rated: Magen's Bay Beach
Don't forget: Ice for the cooler, sandwich bags.
