I thought, how could this day be any worse? I went to the vet and he took care of Toby with great care and understanding. I was in tears when I got back in my car. I knew I had to take care of the tire issue and went to BJ's at 4:30 in the pouring rain. I got there and they were busy as always and I pulled up and got out and approached two of the young men who work there. I couldn't even speak but finally got the words out about my tire light. One of them said, "I am so sorry for your loss. May I have your keys?" He directed me inside and said they would take care of checking the tire. Fifteen minutes later he came to tell me that there was a small screw in a rear tire and that it was already plugged and back on the car which was being brought around to the front entry. Surprised with the care and speed taken with my situation, I asked what I owed. "Not a thing", he replied. I have always been pleased with service at BJ's but on this occasion I was overwhelmed. I am blessed to know the kind of people that work in this business. To be good at one's job is one thing. To be caring and concerned with the needs of your customers - a whole different level!

Parts had to be ordered, yet I was never called when they arrived, even though I specifically requested updates. When I dropped my vehicle off at 8:30 AM for the second service, I again asked for a midday call so I could plan around pickup. No one called. I finally called at 3:00 PM and was told the wrong parts had been ordered and nothing had been done to my vehicle, leaving me without it for yet another day. I live quite a distance from the shop and requested updates multiple times, confirmed my number, and spoke directly with the manager, but I never received a single call. For simple oil changes they may be efficient, but for anything beyond that, don't expect communication and plan on being without your vehicle for at least a couple of days.

In October 2024, I went to a different oil change place (Take 5) in Niceville, as it was close to my work. They threw a fit about putting my skid plate back on, saying it would "take a really long time". I asked that they still put it back on and I was willing to wait. Fast forward to this evening, February 5, 2025, I went here to Express for an oil change. Everything was fine, Anntwon was friendly and a great help. Once they were done, the tech doing the oil change, Travis, came to let me know that 17 of the 26 clips holding on my skid plate were missing. I knew exactly what had happened, Take 5 took it upon themselves to put on the bare minimum and chuck the rest. Travis was kind enough to tell me exactly what to get from the auto parts store and told me to bring my vehicle back and they would put them back on for me. I SINCERELY appreciate his willingness to help clean up someone else's mess and to make sure I knew exactly what to ask for at the auto parts store. I will most DEFINITELY continue to come here and only here for my future services. The staff here are polite, professional, and most importantly I trust them. You are guided to park appropriately and I love that the staff call out to each other what they are doing and what they are working on. The have the ability to make appointments for services that will take a while. I also like that they open until 6pm which is an hour later for those that work standard bankers hours. The are fairly priced and I don't feel pressured to purchase potentially unnecessary items and I love the ease of not having someone trying to upsell you. I feel like they are honest people and their judgments are fair.

I didn't grow suspicious until I took my gf car there for an oil change (because we both travel 90+ miles a day for work our cars are our life lines to our livelihood) And exactly 2 days later her 2018 Malibu started the same problems (shaking rough idle and a powerful odor of gasoline) So here we are I never had any motor problems for 2 years driving from Shelton corner to fort Walton and her never having any motor issues since she paid cash off the lot for her baby in 2018 So ask urself we had these vehicles for quite some time and never had any issues ( specially fuel issues ) and two days later the whole file system is shot and needs total repair So I called the General Manager and not only did he argue with me about the probability of it not being his responsibility I asked why he has uneducated techs offering and pushing motor flushes on high mileage vehicles for and extra 100$ and causing motor problems for their customers his exact response "Motor flushes doesn't cause motor issues for high mileage vehicles So here we are : Dodge charger -3500$ repairs 1.5 months out of commission Had to move into a motel for a month to be closer to work away from family Chevy Malibu- 600$ inspection by Panama City Chevy dealership 6500$ repair invoice 3 months without a vehicle Loss of job And this was 2 weeks before Christmas How did my and her fuel system need complete replacement when all we had was a oil change? Christian was very helpful and offered to discount the service for me. My in cabin air filer was checked as was my engine air filter. I was told it was almost ready to be replaced but that it could wait. They did a check of all the fluids and when they were replacing caps, they would call it out to the other employees. There were three people working with me and truck at once. Once they were done, I was directed out of the bay. Without a discount, I would have the service done at the dealership next time.
