The young man that helped me was terrific. I'm at a state park way out on an island & my truck had low oil pressure. This company picked up my truck and found a repair shop for me. Absolute horrible company do not use!!! I was told that they would be out in the morning to tow my motorhome and after that call they would not answer any more calls. I called and left 7 voice mails and multiple text messages and they won't answer. I had to call them from a note somebody else's number that wasn't listed in my name so they would answer the call. so once I answered the call from the other one they gave a bunch of excuses saying this person told him to calm. This person told him not to come, which is all lies. They just don't wanna do it. They'll tell you one thing and they'll do something totally different and then when they get mad at you, they threaten to come to your house and fight you! Stay away!!!!!! UPDATE: while speaking to Brandon, he told me that they went to go tow my motorhome the day before and the sheriffs office told them to go on because my insurance company was taken care of it so they left talk to the sheriff and he said they never showed up and they don't even have a truck big enough to tow a motorhome so these people been leading me on the whole time!! We got ourselves quite stuck at the Sun n Sand boat ramp on Alligator Island last weekend and called Southern Towing. Brandon showed up in less than an hour and got us out (truck and trailer with boat) with now problem. He did a great job making us not feel like idiots! Highly recommend! Southern Towing also does Locksmith work. I was locked out in 90+ degree heat the other day. I was really in despair but Southern Lock got the front door open quickly. They also changed an old lock between the garage and the kitchen. We now have a digital lock. And, the garage door opener was replaced with two remote openers instead of having the always perilous one remote. Southern is definitely value for money! We definitely feel more secure. This company had several good reviews when we needed service. Unfortunately, we had quite a different experience with Southern Towing. We were in Eastpoint, FL, and needed a mobile repair for our RV levelers not extending. We spoke with Brandon at 11:00 am, and he said he would be there in 2 to 3 hours. At 3:00, we called him again to make sure we were still on. He said he was almost on his way. We NEVER heard from him again. It's a week later, we STILL have not heard from him. read more

My boyfriend and I have StateFarm Insurance. We were stuck in East Point Fl, trying to get a tow truck home to St George Island they cancelled three times. We waited for 6 hrs 15 mins. The next day We found out that it was our car insurance that kept canceling. Brandon came and towed our car all the to Tallahassee. He was so pleasant and friendly, it made it worth while. If I could give zero stars I would, but I had to give sometime to write the review. Not very professional if you ask me. I spoke with Brandon last Saturday about moving my RV, which he said they could do. We scheduled for it to be done on Tuesday around lunch time. Tuesday came, that morning my fiance went & unhooked our power & got everything ready to be moved, I never got a call around lunch time so I called around 3-4 & he told me someone was suppose to be on the way & that he would call them & call me right back. An hr & a half passed without a call so I called back again & he said we would have to push it to tomorrow due to the fog. Even though it was their fault & they weren't there on the scheduled time I said that was fine & I would see them tomorrow. Again, we schedule for around lunch time on Wednesday. Wednesday comes & Brandon still hadn't called me so I called him around lunch time & he said somebody would be there around 2. I went to my RV & waited & waited, at around 3 I called because nobody had showed up yet & he said the person was held up by traffic but was on the way, finally at almost 4:00 someone showed up & oddly enough it sound like the same exact voice that I had been talking on the phone with. He hooks up to my RV & yanks & pulls for about 30 mins. My fiance told him that the previous towing company had to drop the drive shaft in order for it to moved, Brandon swore it was the brakes even though I know for a fact my RV doesn't have brakes, that's why I needed it towed. It was obvious that he did not feel like dropping the drive shaft & insisted it was the brakes & told me that they would have to bring their bigger truck to pull it out. I said okay if that's what you need to do that's fine, he told me he would be back tomorrow around lunchtime with the bigger truck to move it. Thursday comes, lunchtime comes, no call. I call around 2 & Brandon answers, still acting like he isn't the person that came to my house the day before, & tell me that something was wrong with the big truck that was needed to move my RV, crazy right? At this point, after giving the benefit of the doubt for an entire week, I knew he was full of shit. Mind you, my power has no been unhooked for 4 days, when he actually came he bent up my front bumper badly & wouldn't even put my RV back where it was after asking him too. This is the only heavy duty towing company in my area so I really was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, but it is now Friday & I've yet to hear from him. Not to mention, he went up $100 from the original quote, which I was fine with, & still gave me the run around. I would not reccomend this towing company to anyone. read more
