In my 46 years of life, and the many places I have lived, I have NEVER had a better experience at a…read moredoctor's office than I did today at Be Well Medical Center. It is, quite literally, the kind of place I have been looking for my whole life. Upon arrival, I was received pleasantly by the ladies in reception. My wait was short, and then Scott, who was just the most lovely human, triaged me and escorted me into a room where just moments later, my P.A. Lee came in and began talking to me about why I was there. I got introductions. I got time to explain my concerns and ask questions. I was listened to, and all my thoughts were validated and responded to. I felt like Lee and I were BOTH advocating for my wellness, as a team! My experiences at other doctor's offices in the past had always left me feeling rushed, unheard, and "quick fixed", which usually resulted in a prescription or two -- in and out -- despite my genuine desire to actually take an active role in my own wellness, including diet, exercise, supplements, hydration, etc. Not at Be Well! Here, Lee spent time with me, learned a little about who I am and how I view my wellness and my treatment, and worked with me inside those parameters. He was intelligent, laid back, easy to talk to, and professional. I felt this was the norm at this office and I feel reasonably sure that would be the case with any P.A. or doctor that works here. Lee approached the situation methodically, and we created a plan for testing and treatment. I left the room feeling confident that I was in good hands and that the plan would yield helpful information, as well as potential solutions. Check-out was as quick and easy as check-in was, and on my way out, I heard a voice call out to me, "Wait, don't leave yet! I turned to find Dr. Benson following me and offering a red carnation. "Happy Valentine's Day!" he said. Completely brightened my day and made me feel like more than just a patient. I cannot recommend Be Well Medical Center enough. I am so glad my cousin referred me. I went again but the receptionist said they no longer do any walk in testing and i would have to make an appointment and establish myself as a new patient in order to get even a point of care test. The health department can have a long wait time, but i feel much safer and more welcome there and it's affordable.

This place is very organized and thorough. They mailed me a packet, detailing how to prepare for the procedure. They also texted me a few days before, reminding me what to do, and what time my appointment was. I appreciated all the tips for preparation and the do's and dont's. From start to finish, everything is well organized, efficient, and timely. Check in is easy and they even offered to give me information about a living will and medical directives, since I didn't have things like that in place. I've been meaning to do it and wasn't sure where to start and the packet of information was really helpful. They are very thorough explaining the procedure, anesthesia, risks, and all the paperwork you are signing. Cell phones are discouraged so I didn't take any photos, and I appreciated that devices were not allowed in the waiting room and entire facility. Masks are optional. Due to the anesthesia, you need someone to drive you and your driver must be on the premises at all times. Dr. Jacob is so nice! She saw me before the procedure and explained a lot and put me at ease. She spoke with me afterwards too, to go over results and follow up information. This was my first time with anesthesia and my anesthesiologist, Natalie, was very friendly and told me what to expect. She really put me at ease as well. I was put in a hospital bed and wheeled around to where I needed to go. Suzanne was fabulous, got me settled in, and went over my medical history and some forms. My clothes were kept in a bag, and they even had a special place to keep my glasses safe during the procedure. They hung up my mask too, to keep it clean. Marissa and Lisa were the two nurses in the room during my procedure and they introduced themselves right away and were wonderful. The procedure was easy. I don't remember anything. When I woke up, Shellie was waiting for me with water to drink and checking in to see how I was feeling. My mom was in the recovery room with me and that was very nice. (I was asked ahead of time if I wanted my family member with me in recovery and I said yes). It was nice to have my mom in there to listen to things too because I was still a bit out of it. I was in excellent hands here, from start to finish. It was a very positive experience and I highly recommend coming here.

Shelby gave me paperwork to fill out and to put on my dash by 8:56am. This man in a blue jacket met me at the front of the parking lot and driveway to guide me to where I needed to go for my PCR testing. My temperature is well under 98. Another woman came to collect my insurance and my ID card, while I filled out the paperwork. Filled out my paperwork by 9:05am. They have a lot of staff here. The same lad that took my ID came to collect my paperwork and to get back my ID. They told me to keep the pen, since it had been in my car. They take all precautions here and take the virus very seriously. They don't need a script here at all, no symptoms required either. My doctor had wanted to provide them with his script paperwork, so that they would provide the results to them directly. They can't and won't send to doctors at all before a procedure. I will have to pass it along myself. The nasal swab today was much more invasive than the first time I had it done. It was shoved it up so far and that it made my eyes flood with tears, that's way up there for sure. Quick and efficient service here for sure. Would get it done here anytime required again.

We then get a call from a third party ( the next day) asking us to verify the delivery address for the right knee scooter the dr ordered. Since my husband has a left ankle issue, I obviously didn't verify our address for delivery of room number 4's scooter. Such a disaster. We are now in need of a second opinion as we have zero confidence in all aspects of this practice.
