My old orthotics were full length but very thin. In some shoes I would put another liner under them for cushion. These new ones are thicker and are layered material so Wally can make small adjustments by shaving sections down some. I really feel like I got new feet installed. I still have to wear certain shoes for my condition but with these new orthotics I can really go on long walks now without being in pain. I recently got my second pair so my first pair are a year old and still going strong and I wear them 100% of the time, seriously in all my shoes and even my slippers. Why wouldn't I when they stop my pain. They might not work for delicate girly shoes but I have given up fashion for comfort a long time ago when my feet first started hurting.
