Traveling on vacation and look for family owned restaurants when stopping for evening meal. Found Merricks on Internet search. Reviews were right on regarding good service and good food. We were very pleased with our orders. There was so much we took some of it home for lunch the next day. This restaurant and staff are very good. read more

Down home cooking! The hot beef sandwich is fantastic! The gravy over the top of the potatoes and the sandwich is like two ladles of liquid heaven! If I could bottle the gravy I would.
