I was there with a friend but others participated in the tasting as well and they were a fun group! They serve food (sandwiches, flat bread pizza) and have charcuterie boards for purchase as well. We did a cranberry chicken sandwich and a pretzel cheese plate. Both were very good! Besides wine they had canned items and cheese/sausage on sale as well. My wife was reluctant to come as it was an hour and a half drive...with three young kids. But she left feeling grateful that she came. The only down side was the placement of the DJ and "kids table"...which I have no clue who's decision this was...maybe the wedding coordinator? The DJ was directly in front of our table and we got literally go blasted out of our seats : ) I think they eventually figured it out as the volume slowly came down, but I'm still ringing a bit. Regardless of that issue, I would totally recommend this venue for the aesthetics alone. I have no idea what the costs were and all the other ins and outs, but the place and execution of the event was really really nice. And whomever did the food was excellent as well. We enjoy the wines and spirits, whether on site or at home Chef Romain has done a great job at offering lunches at the Bistro, along with Brunches and Special Events. This week we enjoyed their Wollersheim Bistro Wine Cellar Dinner for the first time. Wow! Held in the hallway at the head of their wine caves, circa 1850s, the setting is so unique with attendance limited. Cocktails / wine before, hors d'oeuvres, four course dinner with paired wine each round. Chef Romain and the knowledgeable servers were attentive, ensuring everyone's enjoyable time. They made for a sensational setting and experience. Their intent is to do this monthly or every two months. We are certainly looking forward to the next event, and will be visiting sooner to replenish our own bar!

Highly recommend you visit if you're in the area and if you live in the area, I highly recommend you come here as often as you can during the spring months, sip some great wine, eat some great food, and just relax and look at the beautiful scenery
