The mall itself has great stores, but what stood out to me was the number of homeless individuals throughout property. As a shopper, I did not feel comfortable walking around the mall. My two young kids were very uncomfortable, I have to move them from the food court and sit and eat elsewhere. For a high-end shopping destination, I expected a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment. Management needs to do a better job maintaining the property and ensuring guests feel comfortable while shopping. Unfortunately, this experience was enough that I won't be returning.

I love going to Marugame Udon for lunch and grabbing a quick bite, or Haidilao for hot pot if I want something a little nicer. There's also a VERY popular Din Tai Fung here. In addition, there's a food court with some fast food options, a Shake Shack, etc. It's a beautifully maintained and designed outdoor mall with plenty of space to sit and lots of kiosks where you can get coffee or small treats. She told the customer to go to Mission Valley instead and stated that she herself was the manager when asked to speak to one. The customer was understandably upset. Seeing this interaction while waiting in line made me feel unwelcome as well. Later, that same manager was taking photos on her phone, though it wasn't clear why. This isn't the first time I've observed this kind of behavior at this location--I've witnessed similar rudeness twice now. Even though it wasn't directed at me, it still left a bad impression. They could really benefit from better customer service training, especially at the management level.

It moved in a timely manner, and it was fun to see the upcoming fashions for the season. It was pretty lively with the spectators for the fashion show and those there for the unique high-end stores including an Italian restaurant on the 3rd Floor. Honestly, there was not a lot of options but it was verrry clean in general. I'd definitely go back since I had a wonderful time.
