Mesa Painting does not provide any color selection guidance. Many companies will look at photos, listen to your vision, and use their experience and skill to help you find the correct colors. With Mesa Painting, I had to run back and forth multiple times over the span of two weeks from Dunn Edwards to my house to see how a color actually looks on the wall, and at the end, I feel like I would have achieved the look that I wanted if I had the guidance of a professional. Mesa Painting was more expensive than the other estimates but I thought I was getting a more personalized service, not just handing over paint buckets. They also painted my wood pergolas, and the paint completely masked the wood grain, and it started to bubble and chip within weeks. The project was about $20k out the door, and now I am looking for someone who can modify the trim and add accent colors to improve the appearance. read more

From the initial stages of what we wanted and needed, Matt gave us options and consulted on paint types, textures, brands and why the types of paint were relevant to our project, light/sun exposure and style and texture. The outdoor patio sealing is built out of raw tongue and groove which was stained to match our indoor floors and raw beams painted black; look like a piece of art. We just had Mesa Painting do some misc touch up and other smaller jobs. They patched some drywall, restained our large wood deck, 3 wood garage doors, painting windows. The bid was all spelled out for each area by Edgar and then they showed up the day they said they would, estimated 5 days and it took 6. We had Jose and Fernando and we are very pleased with all the work they did and they cleaned up every day and at the end of the project. I just finished having Mesa Painting paint my home. It was a 2 week job and the home was plywood exterior with 4 different colors on siding, deck railings, and stairs. I am delighted with the quality of the job and attention to customer service and detail that both the management and the crew provided. The crew was delightful, friendly, telling jokes, and laughing among themselves. At the end, several of them worked until past 7:00PM to finish up. The next work day, Edgar (the crew manager) and one of the crew came by to deal with the relatively minor list of details that needed fixing. I got a couple of bids. Michael and his crew did a spectacular job on an apartment I was remodeling. He chose the paint colors: subtle, soothing tones of white. They completely resurfaced all the walls, which were badly damaged, and coated the popcorn ceilings. All came out beautifully. We just needed the trim done on our south-facing home. But then there were the wrought iron railings and furniture, the marine-varnished thresholds and a variety of bits and pieces and odds and ends. When it's time to paint the stucco and the interior, we're calling them back. As with the rest of the reviews here, the prep was extensive and the finished work exceptional. I also want to point out that the crew was on-site and ready to work every morning. They cleaned up daily and threw a tarp over their equipment in the evenings and weekends so my yard didn't look like a paint shop (and to protect their gear). They were cheerful as well as professional. Perhaps an odd thing to say, but knowing that they enjoy their work gave me confidence in the work they were doing. And the dogs liked them too. Mesa Paint repaired and repainted the exterior of my stucco house. They did an exceptional job. The exterior had extensive damage to the stucco and wood from termites and years of neglect by the previous owner. Alex and his crew did an outstanding job repairing the damage and meticulously prepping the all surfaces for new paint. The final paint job was exceptional. They also restored and repainted two wrought iron balcony railings, as well stripping, retaining and lacquering our front doors. Beautiful results. Crew was very friendly and professional. Called the owner- he came by and gave me a quote, seemed friendly enough, told me he and his crew could move furniture to access the walls when they came. Yet when he showed up on the first day he had an attitude and implied that I was to have moved all of the furniture- really?? He was in a huff about having to move furniture- the crew did an OK job- several spills, drips onto baseboards and left garbage around. Overpriced and fussy owner. read more
