When I went to check the Xfinity app, my account was unrecoverable--no access granted to me on my end. A few months pass by, and all of sudden a collection agency is calling my nonstop. Xfinity failed to contact me via email, text, or phone. Now, I have collections calling me for a bill I can easily afford. This is likely going to affect my credit score now, all because Xfinity has a broken app and inept employees.

We walked in when we first moved to Las Cruces expecting to be "sold" some internet service. Instead we met someone who took the time to listen to what WE needed , what WE wanted (and didn't want) and hook us up with reliable internet. I have called a couple times over the last year to ask questions and never been disappointed in the customer service. A year or so into our service with them they called to tell me our special rates had expired and they wanted to make sure we were still getting the best offer possible for the money and our needs. they set up a conference call with Xfinity, made sure we were happy with the deal during that call and followed up with a separate phone call to see if we had any questions or concerns. Sure you can set up your own internet without a company like this. Or you can make sure you have a competent middleman to get you the best deals and stay on top of your service. Highly recommend.

We moved to a larger home (less than a mile away) a while back and they charged us AGAIN to connect service at the new home, instead of just transferring service. My husband only uses it for the sports packages and those are ridiculously priced. Half the time he watches the sports somewhere else anyway because we get spotty reception. They try to get you to sign up for whatever internet they have, and I'm not even sure what it is. I still have my broadband with the old cable company and I have no problems! I wanted to switch back but I found out they hold you to a contract which is u breakable unless you fork over almost $400. And why on earth would I want to keep the equipment? They make you purchase the equipment so you can't return it! One thing I will admit that I like about this service is the DVR and on demand features. I only have about 3 shows a year that I watch so I like to record them and binge watch. So one star for the DVR, and one for the On Demand.
