I am absolutely disgusted with this service. I disconnected my internet because I was MOVING. When I go to drop off the modem and other materials, the gentleman told me I could not pay my outstanding balance because XFINITY would change my overall amount due. When I went to check the Xfinity app, my account was unrecoverable--no access granted to me on my end. A few months pass by, and all of sudden a collection agency is calling my nonstop. Xfinity failed to contact me via email, text, or phone. Now, I have collections calling me for a bill I can easily afford. This is likely going to affect my credit score now, all because Xfinity has a broken app and inept employees. read more

Avoid this company. If you are unfortunate enough to have Xfinity for cell service there is no human employed here in Las Cruces that can help you. They only deal in Internet service and Streaming TV. For Cell phone problems they direct you to a single table and a computer for CHAT help which proved useless. Do your xfinity orders yourself online only. Do not sign up for services in store as their manager Porfirio is a shady man and adds services to everyones accounts without permission! And he won't help, he will only tell you to call the 1-800 number for anything that's not a sale. He's incompetent at being a manager. I have outages quite a bit in my area and anytime I try to find out why or talk to a person about what's going on, I get automated responses either on the phone or with their chat bot. They tell me there is an outage in my area... I'm aware of that. Why is there an outage in my area again? This happens too frequently. Today is the 2nd time in the last 7 days there has been an outage which makes it very difficult to run my business online. Why does my area have outages on a monthly basis and why can't I talk to someone who can tell me WHY this is happening? Their automated responses to my outage always tell me the service will be back on in a few hours and is never accurate. read more

You pay a huge price when you decide to cancel with this company. I liken it to leaving a Mexican drug cartel; there are many perils involved. First, be sure to cancel your credit card along with the service. XFINITY (Comcast) has trouble taking "no" for an answer. They will keep billing you after you cancel your service. Also, as mentioned in an earlier review, you will be charged for the equipment even if you turn it in. If you don't pay the extortion fee, they will be happy to go after your credit rating. Last, if you decide to go with this company-- Las Cruces is a black hole for the internet-- make sure you check your one-year anniversary closely. On average, Comcast charges double during this time. The best thing to do is threaten to cancel just before that date to renegotiate. Unfortunately, they may double your monthly charge anyway since you are doing this all over the phone. It may be best to go to the store and speak with the salesperson directly. Above all else, get everything in writing when dealing with Comcast. You cannot trust them-- even a little. read more

Hey people! Chill the F out. Comcast has really upped their game. I've been watching for 20 years. The older generations are frustrated we don't use actual telephone conversations to get things done anymore. -respectable frustration. Ask literally ANYONE under 40 and they will help you get things done in less than 10 min. Most of the complaints I see on the reviews are all things the xfinity app can handle in under 60 seconds. I contacted customer service on the website. I wanted my modem moved to a mor central location in the house. I had to navigate a BOT and then was able to text with Customer Support (share an agent who was obviously multitasking other customers so you have to be willing and able to sit there waiting. She talked me into upgrading my internet and getting a new modem for less per month. I agreed and got a 27 page text to agree to and I did. The modem was in the mail. Suddenly my current modem stopped working. Two days of navigating BOTs and turning off and on my modem, per BOT tech. Texting another customer service agent that did nothing to help. I then tried to convince the customer service BOT that I needed to speak to a human. It kept asking questions of why and then told me to plug and unplug my modem again blah blah then left the chat. I looked up how to speak to customer service on the web and tried to call my local xfinity which was the same BOT stuff. But the web gave me a number which I called and got a human in another country with a heavy accent that I really could not understand and I told him so twice. He figured out which I had already told him by the way that the new service was turned on and they took my old modem offline. After that he kept saying that I had to agree to this and that by clicking on a link in a text. I could only understand the word text. So I did and my old modem is now back on. If another company competes for my business that cares about customer service I would switch 100 percent. read more

I visited the Xfinity store in Las Cruces today. I needed to try and correct an issue with a package change I made online. The rep that I spoke to seem to no understand or maybe she was new. She stated to me that they could not do anything for me and I had to contact online were I made the program changes. If this Xfinity store can not help you then why are they open. I think they are just there to take your money and trick you into enrolling in different program. Very piss poor customer service. They really need to train their associates better in customer relations. I went in today to discuss an issue with my account . I had been in last week to make a payment on the account because the bank account my Xfinity account set up for auto payment has been closed. I had also returned one of my wifi tv boxes I no longer needed. The guy at that time told me everything was ok and nothing was due. Then over the weekend I get an email saying I am late on payment and now had late fees. So when I went in today to resolve the issue and make payment I was assisted by an associate named MARC. He informed me that even thou I had returned my Wifi box last week that I still have to pay for it for this month. The guy that helped me last week told me it would be removed from the next bill. So...I simply asked for the wifi box back so I could use it for this month since I was paying for it and he said No. That means I am paying for service I am not getting because I have already returned the device. The way this store is running is SHADY SHADY SHADY. I suggest that anybody looking for any kinda of Wifi and Tv service use ANYBODY rather than Xfinity. The associate MARC did not handle things respectively and I became rather upset. Never did he ask for a manager or anybody else to come assist with the issue. I recorded the conversation on my phone so I have evidence of the ordeal. I plan to go to all other review platforms to address my experience. I will be closing my Xfinity account and will avoid using Xfinity/Comcast for my wifi/internet/tv needs in the future. read more
