During my pregnancy and postpartum, my pigmentation became much darker, and it really affected my confidence. I kept hoping each new treatment would be the one. I tried chemical peels, microdermabrasion, microneedling, IPL, and BBL, and spent so much money on products that promised results but never truly made a difference. I started to feel discouraged, but I decided to trust the process and stay consistent. What finally changed my skin was alternating Pico laser treatments with Salmon DNA microneedling while using hydroquinone. This Pico laser session was done just a week ago, and my skin is already improving and it will continue to get lighter as I use hydroquinone every night. During our consultation she was pretty much trying to "judge" whats wrong with my skin/face and wanted to upsell facials and other treatments. She was very pushy and I didnt feel comfortable continuing anymore since I felt like I wasnt being heard and she said "you cannot start the treatments without committing to facials" despite explaining that I have an actual derm I see regularly. The whole interaction just felt very uncomfortable knowing that this lady whos not a medical professional is giving medical advice?? I booked an appointment for botox and a consult for cool sculpting with nurse Amber. The office was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Nurse Amber was amazing! First, this was my first time getting botox. She was friendly and thorough when she explained the procedure and what to expect not only when she gives the injection but also what to expect after such as when I would experience full effect and when I should contact her if I felt a little more touching up. Again this was my first time getting botox. She gave me her recommended units of botox based on her evaluation and what I told her I want and she was spot on. My botox results look great, no complications and no touch up needed. She also consulted me on the cool sculpting procedure and expected results. I was a bit nervous about whether I was a good candidate but she assured me I was. Background: I had recently lost about 20-25 pounds (165 to 140-145) & I was down pretty close to my goal weight but I thought I could probably work a bit harder. I also knew even when I was much younger and working out more frequently that I had this stubborn inner thigh fat and after two babies I also had that stubborn belly pad. I was unsure about the outer thigh and hip area. Together we decided to go with 3 areas of cool sculpting : 2 inner thighs and the lower abdomen. Again she was thorough in what to explain during & after the procedure and what to expect after & when to expect full results. She was comfortable and skilled performing the procedure. It's a little awkward as she needs to connect a big suction with hose which wraps onto your inner thighs and lower abdomen but she made me very comfortable and the procedure went as perfectly as could be expected. I am about halfway through the total time it may be expected to see total results and I must say that I am pleasantly surprised with my results so far. I will definitely be back to see nurse Amber for my next botox injections and if I decide on any other beautifying procedures. I had also tried various recommended skincare from Sephora and other beauty influencers on Instagram, but none of them seemed to work. On a whim, I asked my skincare-addict friend if she had any recommendations, and she said her friend had gone to this place in Fremont that does acne extractions that she spoke highly of. Before this, it hadn't even crossed my mind to see an aesthetician for my acne. Karen was my aesthetician, and she performed a manual acne extraction + other hydrating treatments afterwards. I'm not going to sugar coat it, the extraction HURTS! But it's only in the moment of the extraction, it doesn't keep hurting afterwards. Karen was as gentle as she could be, but also meticulous. I felt as if she was digging into every one of my pores (in a good way)! After years of struggling with acne, I decided to bite the bullet and just trust the process with Karen. Instead of other facial places, I don't have to pick and decide for myself which treatment I want -- Karen takes in the current state of my face with every visit and suggests the treatment that she thinks is the best. It took a little while to fully see the results, but it was so worth it! After a few months, I already started see a reduction in my normal acne. In around year or two, I not only barely had any acne, my skin was so much healthier, and I swear my pores seemed to have shrunk! This is no doubt a splurge on myself (I now routinely go in for monthly facials), but has honestly been so worth it. I do feel like Beauty Legend uses quality products & technologies, like nice Italian skincare & modern Korean technology/machines. I had SO MUCH hair and my hair is 80% of what it was which is insane to think about! THOUSANDS of hairs are completely gone and I couldn't be happier. My results were so good I referred my mom here as well and she has had similar results. Jessica is so kind and so knowledgeable as well. I was really hesitant with electrolysis as first due to scarring or hyperpigmentation but she reassured me with the research and stats as to why those things are uncommon. She also started with a really low intensity setting to see how my skin would react and then slowly built up to my current settings after making sure there were no adverse skin reactions. Her office is also very clean and she uses sterile instruments and gloves which i really appreciate! I had another electrologist say they don't need to wear gloves because the probe is "self-sterilizing" but taking extra steps to be clean is never a bad thing and Jessica takes cleanliness very seriously! On top of all those amazing things, she maintains a friendly and comfortable environment during the sessions! I highly highly recommend her services!
