Seth's extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I appreciate lifting heavy safely with correct form and I find all the different exercises helpful with daily life. 18 holes on the golf course, hours of yard-work, running an occasional mile are all WAY easier thanks to 3 hours a week. Made a few appointments and canceled them then finally made an appointment and went in. My appointment was at 10. Seth had told me it would be about an hour. The consultation was interrupted constantly at 11:45 I left but not before I went into his office, he told me about his multiple programs. Spent @ least $500. Was not given a copy of the contract. After thinking about the gym, that by order of the Governor was not supposed to be open had people working out without masks. The next day I told Seth I was not comfortable there because of the lack of safety related to covid. I asked for my money back and he said I could do the program online, that was not what I signed up for. He refused to give me back my money saying it was non-refundable per the contract. I did not get a copy of the contract. It was 1 day after I signed it. I asked if i could get personal training from him but he didn't have time, said it could be with one of his employees.Thought about reporting him to Albany County, didn't because I felt guilty unlike him and his business practices. Definitely wouldn't ever recommend him. I made a huge mistake believing him.

So I attempted to give my notice right away they said " no that's not how it works. This is a business " so basically you have to pay for another 28 days. Also don't try and buy this as a gift for a friend or family member. They claim they need to person who is receiving the gift needs to provide all of their credit card info - basically so they will be locked into a billing cycle. They were claiming is was for the waiver reasons- when I said he will sign the waivers but is not gonna give you his credit card info - I reiterated this is a one time gift for the 28 day program you advertise- so as far as fitness - I can't judge. As far as business- read the fine print and be ready to pay. Also they should state can't be bought as a gift. Must be purchased by participant. Corey you explained it much better here than on the phone. My only question is about the 28 day advance requirement for cancellation. You said within 21 days to cancel but if you don't you're locked in automatically to the next 28 days correct?

Another great thing about this location is the offered classes, I recently started taking a strike class with Javen, I was honestly nervous but my coworker was adamant I needed to try it and I'm glad I did! Javen is phenomenal! He does the workout right along side us and just over all a great vibe in his workout sessions, even changes the color of the overhead lights to match the vibe of the workout which is fun. The gym offers both group fitness classes and individual training sessions, all of which include various exercises and equipment. Workouts are fun and vary per targeted muscle group. It'll be hard to find two workouts completely alike. I joined this gym shortly after being cleared for physical activity post liver donation surgery. In my time off I had lost all muscle and strength and was nervous to go back to the gym. Needless to say I could barely do a plank. Within just 16 wks I felt back to normal and stronger than I had been before my surgery.

They always make you feel welcomed and comfortable being there. My son was training at another gym and had back and arm problems from not lifting correctly. After coming here they showed him how to lift correctly. They got his back and arm stronger doing it a proper way. He went through the baseball season with no back or arm pain thanks to them. He also got stronger and faster with his personal plan for training. They both have college education (not just a certified trainer) that sets the apart from other trainers. I've learned that you really have to check out the background of your trainer. There are great adult classes also. You need to check out this gym.

We had an issue, yes, the post office misplaced the goods for about 10 days. Fiternity refused to help me solve the problem, wouldn't meet me in the middle at all. Then when the item finally showed up, it was way too big, and Blake's wife sent a scathing email calling me an "epic" customer because I didn't understand the sizing information on their website. On the website it says "unisex" sizing, but the order confirmation said "women's small". So which was right? No customer should be called names, EVER. Can't recommend these people at all. They may be athletes, who knows, but business people they are not.

I did their Launch Program which was an awesome jump start to getting into the classes. I have had trouble in the past sticking to a workout routine, as I'm sure a lot of people do. That has not been the case since I started going to CRL, its addicting. The coaches and people are amazing. Everyone is super welcoming and no matter if you are in great shape or just starting out the workouts are manageable/challenging, its really all about how much YOU want to push yourself. Along with crossfit they also offer spartan, olympic weightlifting, and mobility classes which are just as awesome. The coaches are all very knowledgable and want to help you be the best you can be. You can tell they love what they do. Melissa and Sam started something great here. I cannot say enough good things about this place!
