Being a record collector, I took note and looked up their hours with a plan to return. After grabbing tacos next door, I stopped in and... wow! I frequent record shops and have never stopped foot in a more clean and well organized shop! The records are top notch and the owner, Greg, is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. His audio system is enviable to say the least and he play tests his records. The records are graded and have a label indicating artist, album name, pressing (usually), and price. Overall, an extremely well-organized shop. The vinyl purveyed is premium, so cost is commensurate but very fair for such finely curated and hard to find records. Good isn't usually cheap and cheap isn't usually good.

They generously spent a significant amount of time with me, allowing me to audition various systems, including multiple versions of the DeVore speakers I was interested in. What truly stood out was the completely pressure-free environment. There was zero rush to buy or make any decisions on the spot; their primary goal was simply to help me find the right sound. I eventually purchased my beautiful DeVore O/96 speakers from them, and the entire process was a joy. I am already looking forward to working with them again as I plan to invest in a preamplifier and a power conditioning system in the future. From what I thought it was going to be a goodnight vibe going out to support the line up/headliners. We arrived at the exact time the venue advertised the artist will perform. The bouncer told us they actually ended 2 hours ago from the original time they said. I was furious because not even a notification was sent to us that they changed the time. I would figure venues would notify their customers about the time changes but not even an email sent. Definitely not coming back for another events to this location. Poor communication management with their customers.

She looked very bothered after I purchased wheels from her business and I even asked very kindly and respectfully if she could grip my board and she complained. As I was there working on my board , a couple of teenagers came in and she changed her attitude and energy towards them and made them feel welcomed but continued to be rude towards me and even muttered to the kids badly about me . Came to the shop because it was the only area that had the wheels I was looking for so I was really stoked to come in upon entering, she was really helpful and nice. I then asked her if she can help me with my grip tape and she seemed a little bothered. I stayed at the shop to work on my board because I figured I can just swap out the wheels I purchased . I grew up going to shops and hanging out in spaces where skateboarders are welcomed, but this is the first time where I felt like a burden for staying. They had younger folks coming in hanging out at the shop and I overheard her complain about how I had over stayed my welcome. I realize that I was getting treated like I was bothering her business. I asked her if there's anyway I can bother her for back to throw in my old wheels and she seem to be bothered stating that she didn't have any extra bags and mumbled it on her breath and handed me a bag with so much annoyance that I immediately left after that. This is not the space for skaters , I recommend going else where.

Jen & Oscar are two amazing people who love music & vintage stereo equipment to bring back to life…read more I myself lent some money to a friend to help him out and he left me with collateral 2 Klipsch Belle Horn Theater Speakers and a Yamaha Receiver to hold until the loan got repaid. But after you lend money. We all know the story all too well they took the money & RAN.. Never to be repaid. I enjoyed the system for numerous years But after downsizing my collection after getting into my retirement years. And 36 years later. I decided to let them go to a good home to be restored and cherished like they should be. I googled Vintage Stereo Equipment and Rewind Audio popped up.. Gave them a call and literally 6 hours later they were at my home picking them up to bring them back to life & give them a new home. I am so grateful I called them. I love the 70s retro look of the store! I need to digress about the Echo Park store and how we found it by accident. One of our first pre-covid trips to LA, we had to find a vegan restaurant for our daughter. By then we all were kind of hangry and stressed. While we were walking to the restaurant, we passed Cosmic Vinyl in Echo Park. I told my husband to check it out (that got him out of the car and his stress went away). Finding Cosmic Vinyl in Echo Park was one of our favorite shopping adventures. Because I found every album my husband was looking for (LOL), but there is a sense of community and a vibe to this store that we haven't experienced in some stores we have visited. It was sad when their Echo Park location closed, but it was nice to hear they are back.
