First off, don't shop here if you're looking to paint a large project. You can't go back a week…read morelater and hope to match the previous paint color. They probably won't have it. Remember, color selection is limited. BUT, if you only have a few rooms and don't mind going different colors in each, or . . . even remixing multiple cans to make one single color, then you may be in luck. The paints are good brands and fairly priced . . . . . but remember these are returns and color mistakes, so limit your ideas about color choices. Last thing, will recommend you "stay away" from their no-name spray paints. They are really cheap quality, bad coverage, and long long long time to dry. Good spray paint normally dry to the touch in 10 to 20 minutes. Their stuff still sticky after an hour or more. You get what you pay for. If your just looking to save money, no problem, you will. But if your looking for choices, you'll need to go to the big box stores.

We recently moved into an old (1948) building. The window sills are black marble - all showing age,…read morewear, and even etching from potted plants. I tried a few products to address the issues with zero success. I considered trying to sand it down myself. As I was researching different methods, I came across the MarbleLife website. We called the 800 number and the rep set us up with Quinn Cupp for a free evaluation and estimate. Quinn came on time with full mask and even put on booties over his shoes. We agreed to refinish all 4 sills. The appointment was just a few days later - Quinn came back - on time. The process involved a special diamond pad and manual smoothing in the corners. Once complete, sealer was applied. Start to finish was ~2.5 hours-- It would have taken me days! We are so happy with the results and with Quinn - he is super knowledgeable and is great to work with. This is the first time I have DIY-painted any cabinets let alone an entire kitchen's worth. I was directed to the Valspar Cabinet Paint. The Lowe's staff member seemed knowledgeable and shared with us all the paint's qualities. I have to admit, I was skeptical...paint is paint, right? Wrongo...this paint is amazing!! Whether you brush or roll, coverage is exceptional, the paint levels well, it dries to a nice hard finish with no odor, and clean up is a breeze. I could not be more pleased with this product. Our cabinets are done (white uppers, blue lowers) and they look awesome. I've always purchased Valspar products and now I'm an even more devoted fan!

Every other place I called today wanted me to buy a whole box to get a single 2 ft. piece of hardwood flooring for a repair. The purchase was easy too. I walked into the shop entrance, paid for my $3 piece of wood, then walked out to the shed and the guy plucked it off the shelf and put it in my hand. He even offered me helpful advice on how to prep the piece of hardwood for use in a repair. Nice folks + great service + got what I want for a great price = 5 stars!
