Made it out of Tombstone with over 16 mins to go :)

Honestly one of the best escape rooms I've been to! Incredible game, audio, art, and light design. My friends and I had a blast completing Tombstone with over 16 mins to go! Every clue made sense and actually contributed to the overall theme. Incredibly creative and well done. Our game master was fantastic, and I hope to have her the next time we come and play. Thanks for an incredible time! We will be back! :)

I have done numerous escape rooms and Method of Escape has some of the best rooms and puzzles. We have enjoyed all of their rooms. Each had their own creativity and they all kept us interested. Highly recommend them.

My son and his friends completed Detention Bay with 12 minutes to spare. They had a blast! They did awesome and can't wait to go again . . . Tombstone is Black Ops! The gamemaster was super helpful, friendly and very complimentary to the boys!

    We didn't breakout.....this time!!!

Haley was a great game master, and even worked in a nice plain vanilla dig which had all of us busting up.

I decided to take my team to the rage room for a last team meeting as we will be going on separate…read morework assignments. I wanted to do something that wasn't traditional meeting as we always do lunch and so we decided to do our end of year meeting of something different. I booked the tickets and even got an extra bin to smash things. Upon entering we were greeted by Frank. He is such a lovely fellow. He made sure our waivers were signed and the whole party was there. He explained everything throughout. You have to wear closed toe shoes, long sleeves and clothing that goes past your ankles qnd I know why!!! Please adhere to their dress policy as it is for safety. I only wear dresses and I forgot to bring a long sleeve shirt. So luckily Walmart was across the street so I quickly went to Walmart. However, there is a thrift shop conveniently located next to the rage room which probably happened what I needed too but cheaper. I wasn't thinking as I was rushing but next time I will pop in and check it out. If you do forget your long sleeve, they do have jackets that you can wear too. Not sure if that will be an extra cost or not. But just come prepared. They make you hard at helmets for a great cause because I did get hit in the head with a big chunk of plates and glass. As once your party starts smashing things glass will be flying everywhere and all directions so make sure you keep your heart helmet on at all times. This was definitely a great experience and a great way to blow off some steam especially in chaotic work environment or any environment that she work in. It was a lot of fun to do this as a team and looking forward to come back. We also felt low-key guilty about breaking things, especially some of the items appeared very nice and we wanted to take them home haha but of course we broke them and it felt nice. Definitely coming back and enjoyed breaking things that is off limits ! My team enjoyed it.

After a very stressful couple of work weeks, my husband surprised me with a visit to the Rage Room…read moreso I could let out some frustration. I so NEEDED this. We were greeted upon arrival and the guy explained the rules and safety. We were suited up with goggles, a protective helmet with face shield, latex gloves with thicker gloves over them. Make sure you wear long sleeve shirt, comfortable pants and tennis shoes. The room had mounts so we could record ourselves, and we were able to play our own music without hearing other groups, which made it even better. The space was clean, well ventilated. We were given 20 minutes, but we managed to break everything in the two crates within about 14 minutes. That left us plenty of time to use our "weapons" on the tires and release even more stress on the dummy using our fists and legs. My husband did end up getting nicked by glass. The staff member gave him an alcohol wipe, gauze, and bandage. But he was fine. We had such a great time that we asked about group bookings. One room accommodates 4 people and the other two can hold 2 people each. This would be an incredibly fun event to host. Highly recommend for stress relief!

I highly recommend giving it a shot. It did get hot in the room and apparently it's even hotter in the summer so dress appropriately. There were some hiccups but Clevr Escape has potential to be great…read more My large group booked two rooms as a work bonding activity. Reservations were easy to make online and when I had issues and questions, the owner was very kind on the phone. During our session, there was another group that walked in so spontaneous fun was possible too. However, our game master was preoccupied so communication was slow during the game. I personally did the "Lost Treasure of Atlantis" which was labeled as hard difficulty. While the room was doable, I was disappointed in a puzzle that was uncalibrated. This issue resulted in the entire group being stuck for several minutes despite solving the puzzle. The room was formatted in a linear manner so our group of 6 felt very cramped. However I was impressed with the technology incorporated in the latter half of our escape. The room was very dim and there weren't enough lamps for each member of our team. It also didn't help that one lamp died 10 minutes in. The screen and speakers were clear. However our game master took several minutes to get back to us. Hence if you need a hint, wave for help immediately because assistance won't be immediately. The celebratory signs were a bit weathered and smelly. Hopefully these signs can be updated to reflect the themes of the rooms and be laminated to prevent the styrofoam deterioration. The experience was worth the $30 price tag but some changes needed to be made for it to be great.

From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and hyped us up for the challenge. The room itself was cleverly designed, with puzzles that made us think, work together, and argue (lovingly) about whose fault it was when we got stuck. The clues were challenging but fair, and the props and environment made us feel like we were in an actual prison trying to break out. We loved the variety of puzzles, and the staff gave just enough hints to keep us moving without spoiling the fun. We didn't escape in time, but we had so many laughs along the way that it didn't even matter. Everyone from the adults to the kids had a role in solving something, and it was awesome to see everyone working together. If you're looking for a fun, interactive, and memorable way to spend time with family or friends, book the Prison Break room at Escape Modesto. We'll definitely be back to try another room soon, this place is a gem!

The person running it for us, Eren was absolutely incredible and made the experience 10x more fun. She used fun voices when talking to us and really got into character, she was so welcoming!
