I am beyond grateful that we arrived there. From my call prior to Tee at the front desk, to our service from Terry, our attentive RN Crystal and great care from Dr. Lee - we were quickly seen within minutes and sent with treatment plan and prescription. We even received a follow-up message a few days later to check in on her. So much more than we receive from our primary. For many years, I've driven past this facility but on this day I was so grateful for their services. We will definitely return here as our first choice if a medical emergency ever takes place.

Over time, my respiratory health continued to de line and he referred me to a Thoracic Surgeon for further treatment. Over the past few years, I have had several Broncoscopes with balloon dilation. This year, I was forced to make the hard decision to install a permanent tracheostomy. My trach has increased my quality of life ten-fold. I am able to truly live again and not be tied down at home on continuous oxygen therapy. As a matter of fact, on January 12, 2020 my family and I will board the Carnival Freedom for a seven day Caribbean Cruise to the Bahamas. Then when she is done she will set up another computer screen for a televisit with a what I guess is a Dr dont know couldnt understand her with her very heavy accent. She had her camera ajusted so you could only see from her nose up and trying to understand her was ridiculous. I should have gotten up and walked out. My appt was on July 30 2026 they charged my insurance on 7/29/2026 $200 for paperwork then 7/30 $670 I have not been back since but they are still charging my insurance on 8/14 $200 I have not been seen or had a video visit but they charged them. My insurance has asked for a refund.

She informed Dr. Brandy of a soft spot on my heal and the doctor ordered me an ointment to apply. Everything was so relaxing and I felt like I was cared for really well. Office staff were nice but misinformed and confused about whether or not they took my insurance. We figured it out in the end. I was frustrated at the issue but the office staff were always kind and patient. Even the sweet lady in the billing office who handles insurance claims was very helpful and kind. The facilities at USMD were immaculate. The waiting area was huge and pretty empty. Dr. Pasala is based out of Arlington but they work out of USMD in an OB/GYN office every Thursday in NRH, which is very convenient. The receptionist at the front desk...she was really nice. I've encountered a lot of horrible and mean front desk personnel in my lifetime, which reflects the rest of the office. But this wasn't the case, she was really nice here at USMD. At my appt. Dr. Pasala's nurse Jennifer was extremely, extremely nice, helpful, and patient. Dr. Pasala was all of the above and also very knowledgeable, thorough, personable, and was very kind. He welcomed questions. And he made us feel really comfortable. I will update after my next visit. Getting a biopsy, which is only done on Fridays at the Arlington office. UPDATE::: The biopsy went smoothly. No bruises, no pain, no complications. Results were on time. Dr. Pasala called to give the results himself and left a VM when I wasn't able to take his call. Even though he is out of the office Thur afternoons, his nurse Jennifer is always reachable and always returned my phone calls! Dr. Pasala & Jennifer are a fantastic Duo!!!
