Good selection, I was not expecting the selection to be as good as it was. The guy working the deli offered to grab something for me from the case when I was looking around in that area. I told him what I was looking for, and he sent me to the other corner the store where I easily found what I needed. I'm sure management could use some tightening up based on the TWO 1 star reviews for this place... but I didn't have any problems and would for sure go back. read more

I would give a negative star rating if I could, this store has the worst customer service I have ever seen. We went to this store twice during our stay in Winthrop, WA and has similar experiences both times. The first time I went in I asked a heavyset cashier who was not busy at the time if they had a dog leash. He said "I do not know". It dismissively sent me to isle 6. I did find the dog leashes and by this time my wife was going through self check. One item rang up wrong and the guy came over to reset the self check in a very condescending way towards her. I was amazed at the way he treated us, extremely poor customer service. read more

Terrible customer service, and after reading other reviews I am not surprised about the experience we had with the short haired middle age woman. Me and my friends (all 21 years old) went to this store to buy some groceries and beer for our vacation. The short haired lady was very rude when she asked for my id and saw that it was a "vertical Id" she took the alcohol and my other groceries and said "we don't accept those" she also refused to sell alcohol to my friends with a horizontal license just because she saw us walk in together. We returned later for more groceries and she treated us in a very hostile manner and made us feel unwelcome. If I were the store owner I would do something about this lady considering that every bad review on yelp is about her. read more

ive been going here almost every day for 2 years and its an absolute rollercoaster. ive walked out crying multiple times because the service and compassion has been so terrible. i went in to buy a white claw with my little sister and they wouldnt sell to me because she wasnt 21... shes 12. for awhile, their bread wasnt able to be purchased on SNAP and now their water isnt. some of the employees are so so nice, and some are outright miserable. i took my dog in once because i dropped her leash in the snow (had to walk a mile, wasnt gonna turn back) so i wrapped her in my jacket and put her in a cart. was told its not okay and the health inspector could shut them down for it. LMAO. their produce is usually rotten so. idk about that. their prices are INSANE, some items are 7x more than any other store. literally $1.50 (depending on tourist times, sometimes only $1) for a rotten avocado lol nope. bottom line, its okay when its the only option but wouldnt recommend if you can help it. read more
