They are all super experienced so I'd feel comfortable in any of their hands but I personally have been depending on Caitlin for many years now. Caitlin is extremely professional and personable. I have extremely thick hair and a lot of it and Caitlin is always super patient and accommodating. She doesn't try to rush through it, she LISTENS to what you want/are looking for, gives her input if wanted, and takes it to the next level- every single time it looks beautiful! I usually go every 4-5 months for touch ups, haircuts, toner, and Olaplex treatments. I am never disappointed and always feel great when leaving the salon.

Unless you want darker hair, do come here in hopes of lightening. My experience here was extremely disappointing and, unfortunately, one I will never forget. I came in with a very simple request: I wanted my hair lightened. Instead, the stylist assigned to me dyed my hair darker--the exact opposite of what I had asked for. What should have been a straightforward two- or three-hour appointment turned into a seven-hour ordeal that caused significant damage to both my hair and my wallet. Once the owner realized that my hair had been darkened rather than lightened, I was subjected to an even more aggressive bleaching process in an attempt to correct the mistake. By that point, I was already distressed and concerned about the condition of my hair. What upset me most was the complete lack of accountability. Not once did I receive a sincere apology for the error, the excessive processing, or the inconvenience. From my perspective, both the stylist and the owner seemed more focused on moving past the situation than acknowledging the stress, wasted time, and damage caused. I was left sitting in the salon until after dark while they attempted to correct a mistake that never should have happened in the first place. To make matters worse, I was charged additional money, yes they charged me MORE to destroy my hair, because the owner had to assist with fixing the color correction. I came in with beautiful golden-brown grow-out that I specifically wanted to preserve, and I left with hair that had been darkened, over-processed, and then aggressively bleached in an effort to reverse the mistake. The entire experience left me feeling frustrated, upset, and taken advantage of. I lost an entire day, spent far more money than expected, and walked away with damaged hair and no meaningful acknowledgment of responsibility from the salon. Needless to say, I never returned and would not trust this salon again. The lack of accountability and customer care was, from my perspective, the most disappointing part of the entire experience.

I have a lot of curly hair and I didn't really know what I wanted. I showed her a bunch of pictures that really didn't go but she was able to figure out what I wanted and my hair was stunning! She loved the haircut, but unfortunately the color she chose looked so similar to her normal hair color, that she felt pretty disappointed that the highlights didn't look like the photos we had shown Kaya pre-appointment. I got in touch with her shortly after leaving, and she was so kind and understanding and scheduled a complimentary appointment to help get it to what she was hoping for. She said it wouldn't be a problem. she befan cutting my hair, received a phone call from a woman wanting her hair colored after me. The stylist got off the phone and began quickly cutting my hair for another five minutes and then said she was done. I have been debating for almost 5 weeks about how to rate the stylist, Mindy. I would have given…read moreher 5 stars because the haircut and coloring I received was well executed, the people are friendly and the salon is very nice inside. It boiled down to the fact that after a 15 min consultation, to discuss what I wanted for a cut and color, I ended up with a cut I did NOT want or asked for and the wrong color. The way she cut the back is SO different from what I wanted that if I was a girl that cried a lot, I would STILL be crying over it. I told her I was growing my hair out (the back was almost to my shoulders and almost all the same length, I could even do a ponytail) and to just even up the ends. Before I could say stop, she had already started layering the back of my hair. I HATE layers in my hair and you can forget a ponytail. Then she proceeded to thin it. Also, something I hate and makes my hair lay wrong. Her reason for doing it was because I have thick hair. I do have thick hair but I don't care what style I'm getting I DO NOT allow my hair to be thinned. It's the same as layering when it comes to my hair. Now I not only have to grow out the layers but also the thinning. I will say that she did a fantastic job on my bangs. Then we get to the color. My hair was already colored and needed the roots done and freshening on the rest. Since it was the first time she colored my hair I can understand it not matching completely. The red was too dark. I can deal with that because she was learning how my hair reacts to the coloring she used. So the issue I have with the coloring is about the pieces that were blonde and I wanted purple. Just like the rest of my hair, there was growth that needed coloring so the entire strand would be purple. She did NOT do the roots for the purple, she did the roots in the red and colored ONLY the blonde pieces in purple. That's unacceptable. This was not done in one visit either. What was supposed to only be a consultation ended up with the hair cut @ $66 then a second visit to do the coloring @ $109.25. Those two visits ended up being $175.25 total and it sickens me every time I try to style my hair. I will not be going back.
