The ladies are both talented and nice. I go to Suzanne who is wonderful for color and cutting. The shop vibe is warm and welcoming.

Grace, the owner, then let me know that I would have to pay $45 for product, though it wasn't me who messed up my hair. I didn't asked for just all over colour. I wanted highlight/lowlights, and those were completely ignored both times. 1st I had "LETS GK UT VOLS" Orange hair. The 2nd time I had a muted orange hair. I did not want either of those colors. I went in for low lights and highlights and came out with all over color that I did not want. They never responded to calls, emails, and when I made a review on Instagram, they blocked me. I gave Liv the color that I wanted which was low lights and highlights and ended up with the orange hair. And yet Grace, the owner, said it was my fault because that's the color I picked. Again I wanted low lights and highlights, and ended up with all over orange hair. I am a natural strawberry blonde, and now have a muted orange hair. I look like Leeloo from the movie "The Fifth Element". I'm sure they do great blow outs, but colour? DO NOT DO IT. Go to Salon Soca, which I should've done in the the first place.

Blowtique offers Balayage which is the only way I have highlighted my hair for years now. For me, low maintenance is key! They were able to get me in for an appointment very quickly with July. She did an amazing job with the cut and color, and the service was excellent! I definitely recommend coming to her and the salon in general. I will definitely be back!

Even traditional men's barbershops are trending towards appointments! They cut the entire family's hair regardless. Nice looking place that was a convenience store years ago. Easy in, easy out!

Christina is my mom's favorite stylist. My mom comes home looking magnificent after every visit. I…read morewas convinced I should give Christina creative freedom with my hair after styling my hair at home for 20+ years. I had medium length hair when I visited her but didn't quite have a style in mind. This is a challenge for the stylist, I've learned, especially if the stylist doesn't know you. If I sit in your chair, I would be happy if I had a shaved head or a well-styled mullet, even if it wasn't quite what I had in mind. But I am a bit shy and Christina didn't know me, so we didn't quite achieve a style that I felt was "different" the first time I sat in the chair. [It wasn't a mullet, but I'm sure she could style it if I asked.] It was completely due to my inability to communicate what I wanted but we arranged a second visit and I left completely pleased with the new style. I never expected as stylist to say, "Come back! Let's give you what you want! [Despite you not communicating effectively, albeit.]" Next time I sit in a chair for a haircut, this is the chair I want to sit in. Oh, I love how spacious the salon is. There also wasn't an overpowering smell of chemicals that has perhaps deterred me from visiting a salon for so long. All good for relaxing my anxiety. Thank you!
