I've been with metro for about 20 years! I needed a new phone so naturally I go to store purchase my phone to only get screwed. Upgrade was available with purchase of new phone. Bought $900 phone, they cancelled my original account and changed my email address to a bogus one and did not get my permission to. Told me to return before bill due to fix amount of $30 increase. I didn't realize of account issues until after I got home. I couldn't add my email because it was existing to another account. So I go to organize store to correct bill and they can't do it, I call metro call center and they found my cancelled account, can not give me my grandfather's plan and price I was originally paying for and basically said sorry. How hard is it to add a phone in an existing account and honor being a grandfathered account. Same PR girl that caused me issues before but Daniel wasn't there to fix her mess or at least hold her responsible. Complaint processed to metro, so tired of the bs! Her professionalism went above and beyond from what I was experiencing with the Assurant company which almost had me flipping my wig. This location has restored my faith in Metro's customer service. This has to be the worse Metropcs Store. Customer Service sucks they are so rude here! One of the employees started jumping on another employee in front of customers today. Asking her what her job is? she said what? and then she asked her again What is your job duties? then continued telling her you need to do this and that, Excuse me??? I'm a Customer standing at the counter while she's trying to help me and you want to interrupt us??? Can you wait until she's finished and take that crap to the back?? I saw some bad reviews for this site but when I looked at the reviewers histories I saw they all have patterns of giving bad reviews, in other words people who are never happy with anything or anyone, so I decided to give this store a chance and I sure am glad I did, I got a great phone at a great price and first class service, so don't just read the reviews, take a look at the reviewer as well & you will find a lot of good businesses get a bad rap they do not deserve, I sure am glad I took the time to do a little research and filter out the junk reviews!!! read more

The staff at this store is horrible. Customer service does not exist. I'm sure they deal with people who talk down to them and treat them like crap but guess what, that's what happens in customer service. But that's no excuse for treating everyone like crap. A $15 upgrade fee was placed on my order but I didn't upgrade. I just replaced my phone with a similar one. The manager said "we put that charge on everyone's bill". That's horses@#t. I've been with Metro for 8 years and continue to have problem after problem. I'm in the customer service industry and believe you should give the business a chance to make you happy. That's one thing they don't care about, so I'll be switching carriers. If you want a cheap fone with a cheap monthly payment and the worst customer service in the industry then metro is for you. If you are thinking about trying metro my advice is don't. I have tried metro a couple of times over the last 5-6 years and every time been horribly disappointed. Their customer service is worse than you can ever imagine. If you wanted to know how a communist country would run a cell phone store this is a perfect example. Service that evens makes the Post Office service look fantastic. I don't think they have any management. They sold me a new phone that died in less than 4 weeks. I took it back in after taking a number and waiting for the robot behind the counter to help me. They looked at the phone and told me it did not work, DUH. And they could get me a replacement in 3-5 business days. I told them I had no other phone and needed this, he replied I can get you a replacement in 3-5 business days. Did not say sorry we sold you a defective phone let me get you a loaner, replacement, he just did not care. Four days pass and the moron who help me gave me the store number to call and see if the phone was there. I call the number and it is a line that goes straight to voicemail and says leave a message and we will call you back. Of I never received a call back so I called the 800 number to see if they could help. The overseas customer service rep told me the store was open, to which I replied I know. After 35 minutes on the phone and talking to a supervisor I was told they had no way to contact the store. My only alternative was to drive 20 minutes to the store and take a number and wait to ask if my phone was there. When I arrived there were about 10 people waiting with 2 customer service reps. After waiting 10 mins a manager? came from out back and looked at all the people waiting and went back into his office. METRO DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. I left after waiting 15 mins and no other customers had been waited on. I HAVE BEEN WITH PAGEPLUS for 5 years and I will be going back and never complain about their customer service. If you have a job you can not be a metro customer because you will miss work waiting on their crappie non existent brain dead customer service. read more
