I did not appreciate that. Then today, a salesperson was less than pleasant about me wanting to up my plan for travel to Europe. He suggested that we pay $100 per each of 5 phones for a month ($500). When I told him that when I purchased the phones, I was told I could just increase the plan and then decrease it when I came back, he told me I could do that (which costs a lot less); however, I might lose the promotional credit on my phone. There are 2 exceptions at this store from those I have dealt with: Brian and Johnathan. If you must go, see them. They were very polite and professional each time I saw them. Otherwise, I do not plan to go back to this store.

Still dealing with random glitches way more often than expected where…read moreyou have no control over the screen that I paid to repair, like can't even hang up a call or barely get your phone to restart because the screen won't detect any use or tapping happening so it's basically useless until you can kill the battery or hopefully get it to snap out of whatever faultiness it is going through. Even getting the repair done was misleading and annoying. The repair shop employee or owner was not true to his word on when it would be done, blaming the parts that were received and taking no responsibility in ordering the wrong parts. Very bad communication! I called him multiple times from my dad's phone and e-mailed, as he was supposed to keep me updated via either source and never did and only called back very late in the day like right before closing. Had me come to pick up the phone only to tell me once I arrived that he had just opened the parts received and realized he couldn't do anything. He said I would have to come back, but to try to be a big sport and make up for the inconvenience he said he would throw in a plastic screen cover. Once he was actually able to get my screen repaired, & came back begrudgingly to pick it up, he said the wrong phone screen cover arrived, again taking zero responsibility and not seeing how ridiculous he sounded. He told me I could return once again to get that once he re-ordered - had nothing in Stock. I declined, as I would never want to return to this establishment ever again! Still receiving random and kinda frequent issues with my screen functioning normally makes it all the more maddening that I put up with this process in the first place. Should've bought a new phone! Save your money for that & skip the nonsense in doing business with "I-Fix-A-Phone" because they barely do!

I asked him for the store location expecting a card with the information, but he referred me to look for the address on the front door. I walked away and he said you can complain to whoever you like. I felt misinformed by this "rude" store manager! The Good: I called 611 from my car in the parking lot of the store and worked with a service tech who promptly and professionally resolved the issue. I was grateful to have my phone fixed and thanked him tremendously for a job well done. I then told the tech about my encounter with the store manager and asked if he could look up the information about the service fee. After several moments he came back and said it was false. I was disappointed and asked that they look into this matter closely so customers are not misinformed. I have been a customer at AT&T for over 20 years and never had problems with customer service. You are forced to fight your way through a totally unintelligent AI that cannot understand simple requests and keeps looping you back to nowhere. If you're lucky enough to reach the phone system, you're rewarded with horrible sound quality they probably call music, constantly interrupted by lame advertising. It's exhausting. You lose patience, time, and goodwill long before you ever reach a human being. Geek Squad was once a reason to trust Best Buy. Today, even scheduling help feels like an endurance test. I gave up, not because the problem was hard, but because the system is broken. Very disappointing. This is not customer service anymore. This is customer avoidance.
