I initially chose Metro based on strong recommendations from my friends and the sick iphone 16e deal going on,however, my experience with the in store setup was plagued by incompetence and what appears to be intentional fraudulent activity. Upon arriving to take advantage of the iPhone 16E port in promotion ($150), I was charged nearly $300. When I questioned the discrepancy, the staff dismissively stated they "don't really do online deals," despite the store being heavily branded with that specific offer. They also said that to the person setting me up, not me directly. Furthermore, I was charged for accessories I explicitly declined three times. I finally just gave in, because I was excited. Then immediately followed the technical and account issues right when I got home. Unauthorized Lines: The representative added a second unauthorized line to my account for a non-existent iPhone 11. Data Falsification: My account was created with a fictitious AOL email address, a fake physical address, and my name was misspelled. Service Errors: My number porting was handled incorrectly, leaving me with a non-functional device when I got home that could only make outbound calls. Plan Manipulation: During a follow-up visit an hour later to "fix" these issues, the representative secretly downgraded my unlimited plan to a 15GB plan to mask the cost of the unauthorized second line. While Metro's corporate customer service has been AMAZING in providing credits and eventually resolving these errors, the behavior at this retail location is unacceptable. Adding unauthorized lines and falsifying customer data is not a training issue, it is fraudulent. I will no longer patronize this location and urge management to investigate these predatory sales tactics to protect future customers. I already put in a formal complaint with corporate but it took over a month and 4 phone calls to fix this bull crap that happened in store. I am only staying with metro because of the customer service from corporate, I will never go into a store, especially this one, again.

T-Mobile has been hit or miss for us over the last six months. They're going through incredible…read moresystem upgrades, but during the upgrades, some of the data service is flaky. When you have specific problems, in a specific area, support is not equiped to help you. I've been following it very closely recently, in the last month, (it's July 2022 now) the network has been much better. The rates are definitely better than everybody else, the support is hit or miss, if you get a domestic support center it's five star, but if you get offshore, struggling to communicate through the accents, and actually finding someone who knows what they're doing is difficult. Overall I recommend you test the coverage where you're going to use the phone, and if it works, then make the move. If the network was consistently reliable, and support was US based, this would definitely be a five star review.
