Absolutely insane day to stop here - there was a parade and a 5k run on one side, with road construction shutting down a couple streets in the other. We had to park and walk up because so many streets were impassable. That said, we all got different bagel sandwiches and they were all fantastic except the cream cheeses ones. Cream cheese costs $0.85 more than any other cheese, and then they just hand you a small packet of cream cheese to add to your sandwich yourself rather than adding it during making the sandwich like the cheddar. If we had known, none of us would have chosen that at all. Still, overall delicious and pretty fast considering this was probably their busiest day of the year with a line out the door. read more

Grateful for the drive-thru option! Tons of delicious syrup options such as English toffee, blackberry, butter rum, amaretto, almonds, Irish cream, etc. I think they had around 20 options! I'm a pretty classic cappuccino kind of girl, but I tried the toasted marshmallow syrup (half-strength) which added a slight sweet creaminess to my latte without taking away from the espresso taste. Great option! If you're an espresso lover, I'm sure you'll find something you love here! (That 5th star would have been an easy give if service had been more friendly.) read more

I'm sitting here in the venue, after ordering a 4 shot latte, no ice, and being told by the barista that she's charging me extra for "no ice". When asked how much the charge would be, she responded "ummmmh, fifty cents ". Clearly this was an arbitrary charge. Arbitrarily, I didn't tip her either. Cute place but the latte is so creamy and sugary i had to go get espresso shots from Starbucks to level it out. The bagel sandwich had a stale bagel and the bacon was like a mush of bacon bits. I couldn't finish it. read more

Cute little coffee shop with yummy drinks and food items. I've tried the pumpkin pie latte and the banana caramel latte. They were both yummy but a little too sweet for my taste. Next time I may have to try a tea or smoothie since they have some pretty intriguing items. I also tried a bagel breakfast sandwich as well as an english muffin breakfast sandwich. I enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches and think they are worth the price so I'll definitely be back whenever I want a quick breakfast! read more

Though it's changed hands a few times, the atmosphere and aesthetics, for the most part, remain true to the original owners design. The friendly/professional staff/baristas, along with the fantastic taste of their coffee and food, have remained consistent over the years. Stopped by on my way back from a project for breakfast-- the "running with scissors" latte was actually really nice, it was sweet but not overly so. I also got the special "sour patch smoothie" which was also really great, though I would suggest renaming it "10 year old's fever dream" because it's sour patch candy and redbull. I had to try it just because it was so strange sounding but it actually really works. The sandwiches were also pretty good, and the cafe itself was pretty cute and funky. Nice to support local businesses. This is a good, local coffee shop with friendly employees and an amazing blended mocha! Order it with an extra shot (request them to pull an actual shot, not the powder), and with extra ice if getting a soy one. Sooo good and decent prices too. Nice place to get friends together for a nice place to sit with free wi-if, games, free book exchange, and occasional live music. Tasty local treats from a local bakery. I am a barista and I know it's not that hard to be friendly, as it also leads to more tips!!!!!!!!! they are also so slow and service has taken over 15 minutes for one drink every time I've been. my gourmet coffee shops have quicker and friendlier service so I hope they can improve. read more

The coffee is sour&bitter! DISGUSTING! Messy and dirty workstation. Alexus is unappealing, unfriendly, sour, salted, hired help! Alexus mocked me for stating that I was the "Queen of Casper" on Yelp. In proper conduct and not becoming of the face metro needs to give the public! Yelp awarded me the title of "Queen of Casper"! That's because I earned it by patronizing and consuming at many local businesses frequently and establishing relationships with them. This place is surprising. When in Casper, I expect either roughneck spots full of oil guys or your standard chain spots full of old folks. Metro is a hipster spot that makes me feel like I'm somewhere else than Casper. Heck, they had a Casper Art Walk map on the front entrance, which blew me away. I rate coffee spots on ambiance (feel like what they serve is generally the same). The 60's vibe here is pretty comfy. It's also spacious --- tons of room to chill out or get work done. I usually just get an espresso, but there's also your foo foo drinks (pumpkin chai, marshmallow latte, red bull lemonade, etc) if you care to indulge. The barista is also very cute, and I plan on marrying her in the near future. Just gotta get the courage to ask her out. read more

Stopped by this place a few times to get work done during my stay in Casper and loved it. Great coffee, interesting art and furniture, free wifi--even psychedelic floors. This place has more character and a better vibe than most of the coffee shops I go to in NYC. They've got a perfect balance of the practical (satisfying coffee, lots of outlets for your computer, plenty of space) and the whimsical (beautiful framed paintings, cool plants and furniture, games for you to enjoy). My only complaints are a.) the Goo Goo Dolls and Nickelback on the radio (I'm sure the baristas are cool enough guys and could hook up their Ipods) and b.) the fact that they're closed from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Otherwise, great place. If you're looking for a place with plenty of tables and space to do work, this is it! read more

Great coffee shop be sure to visit if you're in Wyoming. I have been craving their Iced running with scissors with an extra shot lately. That was my favorite drink, so good. The parking is street parking, employees are friendly, and the inside is super cute. I also like they have a rewards program per each beverage you purchase. The only down side is in the summertime it is so hot in threes. I gave it four stars only because their beverages aren't always consistent and sometimes their brewed coffee isn't hot. While visiting my grandmother in Casper (she doesn't have wifi) I needed to find a place to work for a few hours. I was skeptical that Casper would have a hip coffee house with free wifi, but I was pleasantly surprised when Metro Coffee Company popped up in my Yelp search. The staff is very personable and friendly. The coffee house itself is huge with nice wooden tables in the front if you like the kitchen table feel. The natural light that comes through the front windows makes it feel light and airy. In the back of the house is more loungy space with couches and plush chairs. There are also some larger tables if you want to get a group together for studying or an informal meeting. At $1.35 for a unlimited cup of coffee, you really can't go wrong. The drip coffee itself is just okay. Coming from San Francisco I'm used to every coffee house serving artisan roasted beans with hints of passion fruit and honey or some other pretentious description so it's nice to get a solid cup from a cool place. read more
