Solid Starbucks experience today located in the parking lot of the only mall in Cheyenne WY. Nice easy and convenient to get in and out of with a drive-thru. My husband and I are on our way home from our trip to North and South Dakota and Wyoming and in the last week the coffees in some of the Starbucks have been disappointing--lacking in that Starbucks punch of flavor. Pros- The staff does a great job on drinks and seemed warm and welcoming. Cons- This location could do for a solid deep clean. Starting with the dirty restrooms. I've come to study a time or two and sit for 1-3 hours. Not once did I notice staff perform a restroom check. After the bathrooms they might consider wiping down chairs/furniture, windows and dusting down the dust covered ceiling fixtures. Finally, it is freezing inside. Refreshing coming in to grab a drink and leave... Absolutely awful being in there to do anything else, ie study. The flys inside don't do them any favors. read more

This is probably the most convenient Starbucks on the south end of Casper if you are passing through on I-25. You still have to run a gauntlet of cars, trucks, RV's, and Semis to get the few blocks from the Interstate to here. The parking lot is very tight, with small spaces, and the traffic backs up very badly at the light where you need to exit the lot. The Starbucks is clean, and the staff and bathroom seem likewise. This place is popular, and there always seems to be a bit of a line. It also seems like drinks are slower to come out than you would expect. Perhaps most annoying, there seems to be a higher than normal percentage of customers who are baffled and indecisive when ordering here. They really like to chat with the cashier about the absence of the scone they wanted, desserts they would like to see, the weather, etc. I would prefer the cashier was polite, but did not encourage lengthy conversations when customers are waiting to order. Eventually, the overly chatty customer will order multiple complicated frappuccino's, take too long fishing in her change purse for exact change, hover near the register while you try to order, and eventually move over to block the pick up area. On the plus side, you get a standard, tasty Starbucks beverage at the expected price. But, wow, was it ever a hassle to get it. read more

I am editing my review from years ago because I have come to enjoy Starbucks. The people here are truly friendly. I used to feel negative about chains because I enjoyed a more unique experience, and I still do. I must say that I think it's vitally important to support your local businesses, but all the same, Starbucks does indeed serve a quality cup of joe, and this location is no exception. I have left my earlier review for reference to my changed opinion: Starbucks puts local flavor out of business. I boycott them. I stopped here for coffee because I needed a cup of it desperately. I would not go out of my way for it here. Only if it were the last place on earth serving coffee. Go out of your way to metro. Way better, and locally owned. read more

Its your typical starbucks so I wont go on about the specifics. The staff rarely put the names on the cups even when its busy which can leave a bit of confusion if five people are waiting for a pumpkin spice flavored drink. Its small inside, so I dont usually sit inside, I just get my drink and leave. The service is fast and friendly and the drinks are typical starbucks quality. The only downside is that you have to go into the mall parking lot to get to this location which can be a pain, especially in the christmas shopping season. read more

Casper didn't have a lot of healthy breakfast choices for me, so I was left with Starbucks. Dad and I had a bunch of Starbucks gift cards, so he thought it was a good plan to stop in on the way out of town. This is a smallish location, but it's pretty much like any other Starbucks, so I'll save you the description. Y'know, if you've seen one, you've seen 'em all, right? I got an ice tea and a blueberry muffin. Dad got a breakfast sandwich. The girls behind the counter were super friendly and attentive and got our items to us quickly. Perhaps a little too quickly because the core of my muffin was still frozen while the outside was warm. Ah well, I'm a weird guy who eats raw cookie dough, burned pizza, and frozen muffins, so it was not that big of a deal. I think Dad was a little underwhelmed with his sandwich, but that's not the store's fault, it's the chain / distributor's fault. I am concerned that this particular Starbucks or maybe management does not understand the very basic principle of serving the customer in Front of them. They neglected to maintain their monile oder until they were 15 min off.. I overheard their manager. They then continued to take walk up orders. The lady running the food was on schedule and processing orders. The drink side spent the next 15 minutes. Processing mobile only. Thus creating over max capasity for the business. I would feel that your great concern for Covid given your company stance on the subject would have created a more condusive environment. That being said order taken 918am. No drive-thru, and parking lot is a complete disaster. Never had bad service here, but it's extremely inconvenient to battle finding a parking spot in a tiny, cramped parking lot - often times having to park in the mall parking lot, and then wait in line. Bad location overall. read more

Pretty sure I counted about 5 eye rolls, and the girls made sure to let us know they were talking and whispering about us behind our backs. Really- since when did the rule "the customer is always right" phase out? I ordered a large to-go container of coffee with cups and the condiments. No one else was in line, and one person had walked in during the whole 15 minutes I was in there. Was it really that big of a deal that I didn't call that in in advance? In the morning everyone wants..wait...needs thier coffee. Nobody has time to wait around forever for it. If you go to this Starbuck location you will wait and you will wait a long time. I did feel bad for the workers. One gal taking orders while another tried to pop out latte after latte. All the while another gal walked around the store on the phone talking to someone and occasionally interrupting the other staff to ask questions. This baffled me. If you see there are people literally lined up to the door while an equal number are waiting for their coffee then you best not be on the darn phone. She should have gotten off the phone and helped out. It was obviously THE rush hour and they were obviously SWAMPED. But no she stayed on her phone call about what type of coffee this person liked and what type of gift basket they could make. I believe that is a call that can be called back at a not so busy time.
