No music over the speakers during my visit, Sunday afternoons in a downtown are quite as it is but the lack of music made it feel a bit awkward among the patrons trying to have conversations. This is the best coffee lounge in Casper. I say so because I hate chain coffee shops. I don't like Starbucks. You go inside and you find all kinds of art or photography on display. They change this from month to month or so. The decor is homey and relaxed. They have a great selection of coffees and smoothies. They have free Wi-Fi. It is not expensive. This is the only coffee shop on town. But luckily there are also a very good cafe too they could hold there own in any big city. They make good custom drinks, classic espresso drinks, wifi, table space, and quiet corners. Only thing is they have weird hours so make sure you check there hours so your not bummed out when your wanting a good espresso and there closed. read more

This place gets four stars because every time I go here, the friendly Casper hipster baristas manage to convince me to get something disgusting. Barista: "OH! You like sweet stuff?? Wanna try our Eggnog Banana Bread Pumpkin Mocha Latte?" Me: ".... Why, YES! That sounds delicious!" Well... no. It's really not. But it goes down easy while playing board games and watching Casper high school students flirt with each other. Very cool way to spend an afternoon when the Wyoming winds are bitter cold. read more

This is easily the best coffee shop in Casper. The environment is worth 5 stars. Great social atmosphere with plenty of room to choose a quiet place to sit, or an active and lively part of the shop. The decor is great too. Product wise, they make a lot of tasty sugary drinks. There is a lot of high school traffic so it certainly sells. But a coffee shop needs to be about the coffee! So coffee wise, they drop down just a bit. I'm not crazy about Daz Bog beans. There is certainly better quality coffee available in this region (SLC and Denver both have some great coffee roasters). I would love to see this shop brew some higher quality coffee to match their awesome atmosphere. Regardless, I will remain a loyal customer. 4 stars for Metro. read more

Found this little place by reputation. Of course I was pregnant when we found it but they always made me the best stuff! I went to this coffee shop back in 2018 while passing thru. A local friend recommended it to me. Gotta say, best coffee ever! When I got back home I kept looking for a coffee shop that was similar to metro but I didn't find anything. This place has the BEST vanilla chai tea latte's, hot and cold! That's usually what I get when I go to coffee places, so I have had them from plenty other places around town, but no where has them like Metro. OHHHH MYYYY HECKKKKK... I drove 4 miles out of my way, passing multiple establishments with coffee, because METRO had more, overall better, and stronger reviews on Yelp than the others. I am SO happy I decided to do that. So I have two go-to drinks depending on my mood (clean or indulgent)- 1) an almond milk latte or 2) 2 shots of espresso with dark and white chocolate syrup (every place seems to have a different name for it). Since I only ever order one of my two go-to drinks, I can really compare drink vs drink. Maybe I'll stretch to a nitro cold brew if someone really raves about it specifically. Anyway, today I was feeling indulgent, because you know, weekend- fall off the healthy wagon. :) I ordered what METRO calls the "Black and Tan" - dark chocolate, white chocolate, two shots of espresso and breve. I always order half sweet and light ice- so I did the same here as well..... just took another sip ... and OHHHHH MYYYY HECCKKKKK AGAIN. So delicious. Not overwhelming, and can fortunately still taste the espresso. Yesssss. Quick to order and receive my drink, pleasant environment, and friendly experience in general. If you're driving through or near Casper- do not go anywhere else for your latte. read more

Loved this retro style coffee shop. For a hot afternoon in July, we were after something cold. The friendly barista offered the option of "blended or on the rocks". My mocha on the rocks hit the spot, but heads up, they only offer one 20 oz size for their iced beverages. Great find! read more

This is a great coffee house and a pleasant find on a rainy Sunday afternoon when nothing else wad open downtown. My latte was very smooth. The eclectic collection of mismatched furniture was very cool and mostly comfortable. The only thing missing was someone playing a guitar and I bet they do that on occasion as there is a little stage. read more

I don't mind the drip coffee, and some of the employees are nice. But overall, the fancier drinks, heck even a latte, never come out quite right. I got sick from a chai I ordered there once and have only gotten drip coffee and scones since then. It took them 4 minutes to make a latte - including pulling the shot which should take mere seconds. I've worked as a barista before and I know how things should be done. This place is not living up to the standards. I'd rather drive to get a nice coffee than walk and get a crappy one. Maybe after a major cleaning, reorganizing, some new paint, retraining their employees, and relearning how to clean equipment and make a drink, I'll return for more. read more
