My deep cleaning experience was top-notch, thanks to the expertise of Dr. Honesty and Dr. Denitra. They were both incredibly gentle and knowledgeable, ensuring a comfortable and pain-free procedure. They even have a tv screen for entertainment while getting treated. Durrel has great energy when he calls your name to walk in. He also made the entire process enjoyable with his positive energy and efficient X-ray scans. I wholeheartedly recommend Blush Dental for anyone seeking exceptional dental care. I believe it is important to communicate these matters in order to improve the overall service quality. During my time as a client, I have noticed some unprofessional practices that have left me feeling dissatisfied. One particular issue revolves around the restriction of clients from requesting their dental work for the purpose of seeking treatment elsewhere. As a client, I believe it is my right to have control over my own dental health decisions and to explore all available options for my treatment. Furthermore, I have observed instances where it appears that certain staff members may be prone to abrupt changes in demeanor or responsiveness during particular times of the month. It is crucial to maintain consistent and respectful communication throughout the entire client relationship, regardless of any personal circumstances. I kindly request that you address these concerns and take appropriate actions to rectify the situation. Open and transparent communication is key in ensuring a positive experience for clients.

I was scheduled to have crowns done, but when I arrived, I was told they had lost my paperwork and didn't know which teeth needed to be filled. Crazy of me to still go through with the service, right? After the appointment, I started having minor pain and bleeding in the same teeth they worked on. I called to schedule a follow-up and was told I could come in that Friday. They called and texted nonstop for me to confirm the appointment--just to later call me back saying the doctor would be performing a surgery and they didn't want me waiting long. So what was the point of scheduling me or making me confirm if the appointment wasn't valid? Now I'm being told the doctor won't have availability for another two weeks. It's frustrating and unprofessional. On top of that, while sitting in the office, you can clearly hear staff asking other patients to change their appointment times as well. Once they fix the issues they created in my mouth, I will not be returning to this practice.

I really enjoy their model of making "going to the dentist" not a boring chore. The facilities are clean and pretty, featuring "The Brushery" after you get checked in. They give you a free toothbrush and toothpaste in a travel size carrying bag when you come for the first time. They also offer select TV episodes to watch while you are in the treatment room. I liked that the staff weren't too forceful selling their services, for example the dentist referred me to a dental surgeon for a consult. They gave me helpful dental hygiene tips and my teeth are looking shinier than ever! I am coming back in October for a follow-up.

First red flag it took me contacting this office 6 times before I could get an appointment, 3 times…read moreI sent request through their website and 3 times I called. When I told them I made 5 prior attempts to make an appointment they just responded "oh". When I came in I was standing at the locked door at 8:55am for my 9am. I woman came up, I told her the door was locked, she said why is the door locked my appointment is at 9am. I said mine as well. 6 people entered when they unlocked the door, they were all checked in, except me. Understandable cause I was a new patient. They asked for my DL & insurance card, then told me there was a difference on my birthdate and if I didn't call and clear it up I would have to pay the full amount. So I called, I cleared it up, and when I told them someone in their office was also calling to verify. So I am thinking I am not paying the full amount after all that. The dentist repaired my chipped tooth, he was kind. When he took me to the desk to pay, she said $282. I was taken aback, I asked how much it was and how much the insurance paid for and she said it was $408 and the insurance pays for 80%??? $282 is 70% of $408??? Make it make sense, the math is not matching. Then I asked for some tooth floss. She told me the tooth floss was "on the other side" and they didn't have any. Then asked me if I wanted to get my teeth cleaned. I was like might as well if that is the only way I can get free tooth floss and I am already here. I asked how much the insurance paid for teeth cleaning. She said 100%. So go back and the assistant starts poking around at my gums, sticking me until it hurts, this happened at least 5xs. Then tells me I needed x-rays prior to the cleaning. They already took one x-ray of my chipped tooth. I was adamant that I didn't want any more x-rays. I have a broken wrist and I have been getting MRIs, X-rays, and CT scans over the past six weeks and I didn't want anymore radiation exposure. She was going on & on, about insurance needs x-rays and she can't clean my teeth without them. So she did 4 more. The dentist came in and was poking around my gums without hurting me one time. Then they said I needed a deep clean, and they needed more x-rays. I said NO! They didn't clean my teeth, they sent me back to the desk to make another appointment and I then asked again for the tooth floss, this time they went to the other side to get it. When I received my explanation of benefits from the insurance they only billed for $282, not $408. So I called yesterday at 12:48pm and spoke with Susana when I asked to speak with someone in financial. I was told I would get a refund check to pick up at the office when they get paid. During this call a person was rudely interrupting saying everything was explained to me about the billing at my appointment, which is a lie. She also said I didn't get my x-rays cause I didn't want to pay for them, also a lie. I kept asking who is that? Who is speaking? Susana was avoiding answering me, and finally said after me repeatedly asking who is that other person on the phone, she said the office manager. I said what is their name? She said Ariel. I told them I did not like her tone, and I hung up. Who puts someone talking about finances and billing on speaker phone? What kind of ignorant behavior is that from an "office manager"? I later got two missed calls from the office and a text saying they had a refund check for me. I feel bad for the dentist, because he was nice and polite, but he needs to hire a new office team, because they are unprofessional, unorganized, rude and ignorant. No one should have to put up with that. And what kind of place makes you pay full amount up front when they have already verified your insurance. WORST DENTAL EXPERIENCE EVER. Today I called them and asked to speak with the manager, Susana answered the phone again, said they were not available and mentioned the check. I asked for the manager to call me. Her response was "I don't know why, she is going to tell you the same thing." I said this is about the call yesterday and she says "that was the manager" as if she doesn't owe me an apology. I highly doubt anyone is going to follow up. Just rude!

I first started coming here because they are the closest dentist to where I live (Kirkwood). And as…read morelong as I live in Kirkwood and my insurance covers it, I will continue going to this office. To preface, I've had various issues with my front teeth since college due to an accident - 3 of my front teeth broke. Since then, I've had some level of insecurities due to the size and shape of my teeth. Before coming here, I did Invisalign 5 years ago, but my teeth looked awkward because of the shape of the crowns I had before the aligners. They did not look visibly straight and had weird alignment/angle issues. Since then, I've had my crowns replaced, and I'm finally at a point where I'm genuinely happy with how my teeth look. It's truly thanks to this office. Dr. Ahmadi has been my primary dentist for the last few years and has been one of the best dentists I've ever had. He listens to my concerns, answers any questions I have in a way I can understand (aka, doesn't use dental jargon lol) . He explains what is being done and why it's being done. A great guy all around. I had an emergency early November. One of my crowns (that was done at another dentist office) broke suddenly in several pieces. While their lab was creating a crown, Dr. Meshkian and Mayleen (I think that was her name, I'm so sorry if it's not) created a temporary tooth to place in the gap. I nearly cried because it looks so good while I waited for the real crown. I did not want to walk around with a gap in my front teeth for a month. Once the crown was delivered, Dr. Ahmadi finished placing it and helped scan my teeth for a new retainer. I swear I've seen the staff more in the last few months than I have some of my friends lol. But the staff is friendly and welcoming. I am genuinely so appreciative of all the work and attention they've done for me.

I agreed to pay my portion of what it costs to place an crown in my mouth. My insurance was on board to pay the rest. Although I made my appointment with a dentist that was covered by my insurance, the Mouthpeace practice allowed a dentist to work on me that was not covered by my insurance and did not inform me. The insurance company kicked the claim back. Mouthpeace then tried to get me to cover the whole cost. No Way, was my response. After months of wrangling and conniving by Mouthpeace they caved and paid the cost. Then COVID hit before I could get the permanent crown installed. I was chewing on eggshells for two years. I was so afraid I might crack the temp crown I refused to chew on my right side where the temp crown was placed. I kept thinking back, if only Mouthpeace had just done the right thing up front my crown would already be in place. After COVID abated. I went to Mouthpeace to get my permanent crown. The crown did not sit right in my mouth. The attendant made some adjustments and it still did not feel/fit right. At first, he tried to convince me I was the problem. Then he told me it would take time for the crown to fit/feel and function correctly. More than a year down the road (and more than 3 years in total) and I still cannot comfortably chew on my right side. Now I have to pay almost $2k to have another dentist fix the issue. Take your dental issues to a professional you can trust and who will do quality work. Do Not Patronize Mouthpeace!!!!

I have had a frustrating experience transitioning to this practice…read more First, when I spoke to someone on the phone to schedule my initial appointment, I was told my first visit would include a cleaning. I arrive and then am asked to complete paperwork I already filled out online. Once I get to the back I am told we are waiting for the hygienist because they are backed up and then am told the cleaning won't happen and that I would need to come back in multiple weeks because the hygienist was going on vacation. I tell them that I was told by the person who set up my appointment that my cleaning would happen in the same appointment and then they say well they aren't the ones who schedule so can't be blamed. Y'all are the same practice so I would hope the right hand knows what the left is doing. Then when I go to pay and check out, I am told there is in fact an appointment the next day, which I take so I can get the cleaning that I was promised that day. During my initial appointment, I inquired about teeth whitening and was told that I should do my cleaning first and that it may be some time since the hygienist I was working with was preparing for time off. Again, when I went to pay and check out, additional charges were for my cleaning were added for toothpaste and mouth wash that I didn't ask for but made it seem like it was part of the process. Additionally, I was told there was in fact an appointment for teeth whitening the following week which I took. Now this is the real reason I am frustrated and why I am writing this lengthy review. I was told that it would take two hours for the process and it in fact took 3. The hygienist has multiple other things going on and took way longer between each 15 minute sessions to reset. She blamed me for not timing the bell and I in fact rang the bell but never got a response. During the whitening visit, I was supposed to get a whitening tray but they said they broke it and I would need to come back Monday morning (it was a Saturday) and it would be ready. So I come back Monday early afternoon on a work break and then am told they won't have it ready and that I should've called before coming even though the hygienist said it would be ready and I would need to pick it up. Once it is finally ready, I learn that I didn't even get all the materials I was supposed to get including a case and another hygienist apologized and gave me the orientation on how to use the whitening and soothing gel which should've been explained by my previous hygienist. Furthermore, its been two months since the cleaning. I feel like my teeth haven't whitened. The money and time and difficult process has made me question if it was worth the insurance and out of pocket expenses. Lastly, they asked for feedback and to share it with them before posting. I shared my feedback with no response so I am posting here. I will not be returning.
