I have a background in clinical operations so certain things stick out to me that may not matter to some. When I called to schedule my initial appointment the receptionist Kiara was very pleasant and highly efficient at her job. She sent me the new patient forms right away and upon arrival, all I had to do was provide my insurance and ID. I literally waited 5 minutes to be called to the back. My hygienist Kim, was amazing! She was attentive, personable, professional and kind. She did a great job of explaining everything to me as it was happening. I also think its very clever how they have televisions placed in the ceiling...I've never seen that before. The technology they used was so cutting-edge, I hate that I been missing out on them all this time but if things continue at this rate, they certainly have a lifer. Lastly my dentist, Jonathan I think was his name, fell in line with the rest of the experience. He also was professional, friendly and had a great energy about himself. This place has it together!

The dentist seemed rushed and didn't take the time to explain my treatment options clearly. Additionally, I was overcharged for a service that my insurance was supposed to cover, and getting a refund has been a hassle. I expected better professionalism and care, but unfortunately, I won't be returning. I hope they improve their customer service and communication in the future.

I came in for a root canal and I had insurance well months later in my root canal became very achy where an infection was found. The pain unbearable and I went back to elegant Smilez and they removed my permanent crown and cleaned out the root canal and put a temporary crown in place, but they charge me for an entire new root canal, which is all documented with my insurance. So they proceed to send me to a specialist and I called the specialist and it will be $300 for me to see a specialist. As the months moved on, I became laid off in my job and no longer had insurance so I sacrifice just wearing my temporary crown until that came out just recently and now I have tried to call elegant smiles to see how they can help me because I just went to another dental office who have let me know that I have an infection in my root canal wasn't done properly. So I just called elegant Smilez and they informed me that the Doctor Who did my root canal she's no longer in the office and begin to charge me a new patient $199 fee. I talk to one of the medical doctors on Wednesday Sept 17, put advised me that he would help me and would call back... well he refused to call back and I gave him all day Thursday to call me back and he didn't so I proceeded to call Friday, September 19 and all day my calls were forwarded to a fax line.. I tried calling them a few times Monday, September 22. The phone rang no answer. I tried again Tuesday, September 23. The phone rang no answer. Today is September 24 and I have tried again to contact them and again the phone rang and they continue to send me to a fax machine. These guys know the mistakes that they have made, and they refuse to help me. I have tried to give them a few times to work with me before I escalate the situation to social media and a medical attorney. I am sitting here now with the infection in my tooth#30 which is all documented by another dentist that I went to last week. I would not recommend this place. They are very sketchy with Business. I wouldn't trust them with any detailed dental work maybe a cleaning that's about it but they can't be trusted and they don't even care about the health of their previous patients. Avoiding my calls for days at a time and not returning my call is a clear sign that you guys are very sketchy and shouldn't be in business. I have a huge social media following, the media will hear about this. I am a victim in the situation who have given this dentist office several chances to help with the damages that they have created. I understand mistakes happen and accidents happen as well, but to run away and avoid your damages will be more damages$$$$ added :) Today was my last time reaching out to them. And today this matter will be escalated. Questions or concerns ? If anyone else have had similar issues or other dental issues, I have been scammed and overcharge by these people let's team up together and get the justice that we deserve. This office shouldn't be allowed to continue to damage their clients any longer 4704049416

I researched and really liked the "feel" of Atlanta Dental Spa. Their "No Judgement" attitude is what I liked the most. I walked in the front door (BIG step) and Tiara took such great care of me. She is so sweet!! After x-rays and scans, I met with Dr. Gandhi who was very understanding of my fear. He was gentle and explained everything that needed to be done and what those options were. It was scary looking at all that was needed, but they offer sedation dentistry and that's what I did. After a good couple of hours of being "consciously knocked out", Dr. Gandhi, Whitney and Britney got the work done! I left being able to smile showing my teeth for the first time in years! But more so, correcting the things that could affect the rest of my health. After I got home I did NOT have ANY pain which is saying a lot as I had a ton of work done. They said that days 3-4 might be the worst for pain, but there was NONE. And that's taking nothing but ibuprofen. The advancement of dentistry is amazing. More than that, finding a dental office that treats you like family, sees you at your scheduled time, offers you neck warmers, blankets, headphones with your choice of music...but most of all truly cares about your patient experience. I'll keep my mouth healthy at Atlanta Dental Spa-Highlands and Dr. Gandhi is my dental guy going forward! (Also thanks to Tiffany who helped answer my financial questions!)

When I came back, there was no official "one on one" in his office and when I was leaving, I was told I had to pay $200 for an "emergency dental visit" that they charged to repair a temporary solution while they figured out the "permanent solution." Long story short - it's giving scammer vibes and that they are taking advantage of people. I attempted to call the office several several times: in the past, Kasey picked up the phone right away. Now, somehow magically they don't answer bc they're supposedly all of a sudden so busy. When I discussed the issue with Shauna, she said she agreed and would speak with Dr. Vanstrom and call me back. She never called me back - I called her back and keep getting a phone off the hook. Then finally got a hold of Kasey who said Dr. Vanstrom would email me by the end of this week - he didn't and guess what? When I call again they won't answer. I will be disputing these charges but beware! Sketchy dental office. As soon as Dr. Vanstrom realized he couldn't put an implant in my mouth due to my root structure, I was suddenly a nobody.

The fact that I actually look forward to going to the dentist now is a clear indication to me that something is going right. I recently had the pleasure of having Tamela (I hope I got her name correct) at the other end of 'the chair' helping me further relax with a touch that truly made everything going on in that room melt away. At my next visit, I received my temporary veneers. I immediately told him they looked too big for my mouth. He told me not to worry and said the final veneers would look smoother, smaller, and more natural. The next day, I emailed the coordinator to explain that I wanted a natural look -- not bulky, not too long or too wide -- just similar to my original teeth with a small upgrade. I already had beautiful teeth, but as I got older, I had some discoloration. The response I received was simply, "Thanks for letting us know." I also called Dr. Cooper again and told him I did not like the temporary veneers and asked him not to make the final ones bulky. He again told me not to worry. Four weeks later, I went back to receive the final veneers. They placed them with temporary cement and asked how I liked them. I told Dr. Cooper they were too big for my mouth, too long, and uneven -- the left side looked bigger than the right. I clearly said I did not like them. He told me he could not change anything and that we needed to cement them permanently. I felt like I had no choice, so they were permanently cemented. After that, I felt terrible. My speech changed because the top teeth were too big. When I talk, I sound different, and I sometimes struggle to pronounce words clearly. When I eat, I have to be very careful. I experience daily discomfort, nerve pain, and gum irritation because of the poor work. I have now spoken to four other doctors for second opinions. All of them said the veneers are definitely too big and bulky, and that is why my speech has changed. They also said the unevenness is due to poor work. I paid a lot of money for this treatment, and now I am paying even more to fix the damage. I lost my confidence, I am in pain, and I feel like Dr. Cooper ignored my concerns and did not listen to me. This has been a very painful and disappointing experience for me

The fillings I received were undoubtedly the worst dental experience I have ever endured. Not only was I not as numb as I should have been, Dr. Dennis was extremely rough, constantly pulling and tugging on my face, neck and head. I was able to feel much of the poking and prodding during the filling. Dr. Dennis took off too much of my enamel and improperly rebuilt the wall of my tooth, causing me to undergo a redo of the filling THE SAME DAY, on the SAME tooth. A subsequent redo was also required because the she caused an extremely uncomfortable gap that is still present today. After the numbing wore off following the 2nd redo, I continued to feel discomfort, only to discover that my tooth was still high (I could not chew). Because of the anxiety and constant back and forth with Peach Valley, I decided to visit another dentist to have the tooth properly fixed. Upon checking, they IMMEDIATELY saw the high tooth and was able to fix it. They also informed me that due to the improper filling, I would potentially need a crown in the near future. When visiting the new dentist for my 6th month visit, I was informed that I would in fact need a crown because of how the fillings were installed. Now, I am forced to spend hundreds of dollars on two crowns as a result of improper fillings performed by Dr. Dennis. They did remove all remaining fees for the filling costs, but it does not make up for the emotional and physical distress and the delayed costs resulting from the crowns. This experience was VERY traumatic and I would not recommend. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Long story short, she told me I had 3 cavities without taking x-rays- I was a little suspicious of her long treatment plan when I had gone to a dentist 6 months before that and been fine, so I went for a second opinion: I have ZERO CAVITIES. She took advantage of my naivety as a student with dental insurance, and I almost let her drill my perfectly healthy teeth. What painful, unnecessary things she would have done to my teeth I am afraid to think about. She is entirely fraudulent and I will be reporting her and this practice to my insurance company so nobody has to go through this.
