My wife and I hired Frank and his crew to renovate our kitchen and master bathroom in our three level townhouse. While evaluating multiple contractors, I knew that Frank was going to be my choice. See, I'm IT systems guy, which means if you need me to build large, complex, enterprise IT systems then I'm the expert because I've done it hundreds of times. My husband and I wanted to get hardwood floors in our new house so our realtor recommended Metro Design. Reza came over and showed us several samples, I liked most of them. He was pleasant and professional. He did us a big favor, which I am very grateful for. My husband and I, at the time, could not afford to install the hardwood floors because we were moving and had many other expenses. We wanted to pay for our floors with our credit card but we were afraid that with a large purchase, the settlement may not go through. (You're not supposed to make large purchases on credit right before you buy a house). We told Reza this and he took a gamble on us anyway. He went ahead and ordered all the necessary parts to have our floors installed, even though we didn't pay him a penny. We did agree that if for some reason we didn't get the house, we'd pay to have the items shipped back. In the past I have never been overly impressed with floors, but I must say his team did beautiful work. Visitors always tell us we have beautiful wood floors. These guys are the very best. I had four outdoor pavers that I bought that were too large. I was having a really difficult time finding someone with a wet saw that would be willing to cut them down. The owner of Metro Flooring said I could drop by one of his job sites and his guys would do the job free of charge. The person in charge stopped what he was doing, set up the wet saw just for this job, and very carefully and professionally made the cuts. The pavers were thick and heavy, so it was a bit of work to do the job. I gave them a tip, but the service was invaluable to me. They were so generous ...I'm still amazed. read more

They completely renovated the kitchen, three bathrooms, and our basement, and replaced every floor except an existing hardwood floor in the living room. They also painted every wall. Their work was phenomenal. Frank was extremely helpful with the planning and initial design, and Barry was on-site every day to manage the construction details. I was grateful that they were willing to help with many design-related decisions (e.g., which color to paint walls, which backsplash to use) because I am "design-challenged." Many companies won't help with design specs like those. The results of their renovation work are spectacular. The price was incredibly fair. A friend was undergoing a huge remodel last year and told me about Metro. I filed that away until the time was right for us to have our kitchen remodeled. This past October, we began our project with Frank and Metro and we are thrilled with the finished product. Long overdue review. Got the main floor completely redone with wooden floors in my home. Frank was very helpful with suggesting the material, design, layout, and recommended approach. Went above and beyond and took care of everything. Called in his electrician and plumber to take care of necessary tasks, but those were additional costs to the job. I paid the electrician directly on the spot but didn't realize the plumbing was additional cost (to replace water supply lines for the toilet and to reinstall the toilet in the bathroom) because the bill showed up in my email inbox almost 2 months later. However, Frank's team took care of disposal of an oversized island and provided extra wooden planks in case I needed them for a future job for no additional charge. Team was very meticulous with the installation, especially making precise cuts in edges and corners. Once the job was completed, Frank stopped by to quality check the work and had one of his guys return to redo a couple of areas that weren't to his quality standard. We're very happy with the overall experience and the finished job. Almost a year and a half later and the floor is still looking great (minus the dings and scratches from my 2 year old). No catch...just amazing prices, great service, nice people--my house sold in 18 hours flat. I needed to put in decent carpet to sell my house; years of dog ownership left it in terrible condition. Knowing I would not be living in it, but not wanting to screw over the new owner, left me in the tough position of putting in something decent, without sacrificing my budget. The first thing Frank said to me was that I would be amazed with the price he offered. I thought that meant I would sacrifice quality, or service, or something. Not so. Frank came out immediately to do the measurement, brought samples with him, and offered a mutually convenient installation date only a few days away.
