It was a no brainer to choose them. When it comes to the work itself, the craftsmanship was very good, the cuts are so clean and everything looks amazing. They did very fast work without sacrificing quality. The only areas for improvement I would say they could have are: - Communication during the days of the project, so you know without having to ask when they are coming, leaving, what the progress is, etc. - Ensuring when they put furniture and things back that they pay attention to things like hooking up HDMIs back to the correct places - Doing a better job of cleanup -- they left behind a TON of dust coating everything, sawdust in my basement that I presume blew in from leaving the garage entrance open where they were working, cans/water bottles left behind - Building in measurement/space for lower flooring to not leave a gap in the trim; they came back and did some caulking after I had a water/rain issue, but it still doesn't look as good -- I wish that their molding/trim solution filled the big gaps and I'm going to have to find a way to do that myself To their credit, they were very fast and responsive when I had a water issue and came back out the next day. I also had a crack in my basement ceiling where something pounded through or pounded the drywall loose from the flooring above being done, and they credited me enough money back to be able to have my handyman fix it. Overall, I would definitely use DFD again.

After searching and searching for a floor…read morecompany to redo the floors in our 1960's rambler, I was unhappy with all the mixed reviews for other companies. A friend referred me to Oscar at Vienna Floors and I looked them up. They only had 2 reviews which made me wary, but I went in to talk to him and I was sold. Oscar has been in the business for over 30 years and he is passionate about what he does. (Not to be confused with a salesman. Definitely not that type). He was extremely knowledgeable and answered questions that 3 other contractors could not answer. He was not pushy at all. I was under a very quick time frame (needed them done before we moved in) and he made it all happen. Then men he has working for him were outstanding (Angel and Herbert did the floors/carpet) and Mike and Danny work in the shop and answered all my questions. My biggest concern was the squeaky floors so they tore up all the original hardwood and only to discover the only thing under the hardwood was wooden beams/planks supporting the entire main floor. They secured those and then added plywood as an extra support and also removed previously termite damaged wood and replaced them. While they were not the cheapest, they were definitely the most thorough and honest. I felt comfortable with any of them in my home with me and my small children. After the job was complete, I still heard a couple squeaks and so Oscar had Herbert come back and lift up the carpet and shoot hundreds of little nails into the plywood to hold it down more securely. Amazing!!! Definitely a great choice.
