We agreed on a price for a used car but could not buy it on the day because we were missing some papers for the financing. We had to come back the next day, a 45 minutes drive each way. Metro Ford called us about 3 times to make sure we were coming. YES, we were on our way. Once at the car dealership, we sat around a table to sign the papers. The salesman Went to see his manager and came back, saying that he wanted to speak with us. we left the table to go into the 'manager's office' and there, the guy told us in a very rude and aggressive way that there was no way he was going to sell the car to us on the price HE agreed the day before!! This place is horrible, i went because i was looking into buying american/ford to do my part in the recovery of the economy. i waited about 30 min to test drive the car and when i was finally done and wanted to start negotiating, they left my wife and i in one of their offices for another 30 min.... i mean seriously, are you guys selling that many cars because the place looked pretty empty to me. Got here at 745am for an oil change and complimentary car wash. It's now 11am, still here with no word/no sign of my car. Slow service!! Unimpressed! Finally got my car at 1120am. Over 3.5 hours for an oil change??!!? The 'complimentary' car wash is a waste of time. Burned an extra hour waiting on the car wash only to find the car had barely been cleaned. Why even bother offer a service (free or not) if you won't do it well? Mike the service tech was nice but be upfront with customers about how long servicing takes - I was told 1.5 hrs and I was one of the first there. Also, tell the cashier to lose the sass! read more

I dropped my Mustang for an oil change and recall. Its an older car so while there, I asked them to check on prices for few parts and a light that was on my dash. I am now in day 3 and my car is still not ready. They blame the delay on researching for my parts. My rep Derrick never answered a single one of my calls it always went to voicamail and I had to hunt down a manager to finally get a status on my car. Now they say another hour. Lets see. We all know that going to a car dealership is one of the worst things any human being can experience. All the salesmen want to do is sell you a car and most of them are pretty sleazy. After a really bad experience at another Ford dealership I spotted my perfect car on the Metro Ford website and decided to make the trip to Metro Ford to see if I would have any luck with them. I had learned from my mistakes at the other Ford dealership and I was determined to get the car I wanted at a decent price. When I entered Metro Ford I was immediately greeted with kindness and respect. I met with my salesman, Frank, who was great. From the get go I told him I was a no nonsense customer and I wasn't into the game that most salesmen liked to play. I had my down payment ready, I knew what car I wanted, and I wanted to work with him to be able to bring my car home. Purchasing the car took several days due to credit issues and certain papers needing to be signed, but in the end Frank helped me get the exact car I wanted. I was able to walk away with a brand new Ford Escape and I could not have been happier with my car or my experience at Metro Ford. Even after I left the lot, I keep getting calls from Frank asking me if the car was ok, and if I need anything to just give him a call and he'll see what he can do for me. Frank truly seems to care about my Metro Ford experience which really makes me feel like a valued customer. I'm not the type of person that visits car dealerships often, but from this recent purchase I've found out that most dealers are conniving and just want your money. But, that was not my experience at Metro Ford. If anyone is interested in a Ford, I highly recommend you visit Metro Ford and ask for Frank. After driving 3 hours one way to this dealership to test drive a Ford Explorer ST with the street package, we began the process of buying the vehicle, we unfroze our credit, went around and around with their finance guy, got the financing we agreed to, wired them a $12,000 down payment and were ready to take delivery......then we get a call - Sorry, we sold that vehicle to someone else, but we can get another one from Tampa for you, it will cost you an extra $1200. Are you kidding me?!?! They would not even consider splitting the difference on the price, after their mistake. I had a great first time car buying experience with Metro Ford Miami! The pricing on all the vehicles was aggressive, making the lines for negotiation very thin. Omar was my sales representative that helped me step-by-step through the process, making the transaction easy. I even wanted to take the used car I was purchasing to a 3rd party mechanic shop for a second opinion and car inspection and he was more than welcoming I do that to solidify my confidence. I have 1 gripe though with Metro Ford. The used car I purchased apparently went through a 172 point inspection before I left the lot; I suppose that does not cover any of the under hood electrical components. 2 days after I left the lot with the vehicle my car would not start and even had a hard time being jumped. The battery cables under the hood, battery, and alternator were all bad, verified by a reputable mechanic shop in my hometown. So I purchased a car that already needed $600 worth of work, great. This has nothing to do with Omar, but has everything to do with whomever did this 172 point inspection. I would purchase another vehicle from this dealership and recommend it to my friends and family. read more

I went there to service my F150 spoke to the service advisor Fernando for a oil change and and issued with the steering. Right away he advised that the battery could be the problem with the steering he checked the battery and it was a low voltage and needed to be replaced. Anyway I left the car in for the oil change and within less than two hours he call me and told me that the battery was under warranty but we need new break in the rear,gave him the green light for the new break. About and hour and half he call me back my truck was ready to pick up. When to pick up the truck it was ready and completely clean. What a great service will recommend metro Ford 100% . read more

Purchased a new truck over a month ago. 3 wks in, starting contacting the dealership because we had not received tag and the temp tag was set to expire. 2 weeks later and over 1/2 dozen calls to salesman by the name of Yanio, finance guy, Cashier, Title Clerk and finally Sales Mgr 'Fadori'. All without success. After a week of driving with an expired temp tag, had to take a day off of work and drive 40 mins to the dealer only to learn the tag "was just mailed". After the sales guy told us the night before to come in for a new temp tag. A simple call would have saved me the trip and a wasted day off. No communication by anyone at the dealer! By the way, 3 business days after, still waiting for it. They must've strapped it on to a turtles back. read more

We were called that a "Transit Connect" car was available for sale. We quickly went to the dealer to view the vehicle. However, when we got there we spent an hour viewing the vehicle in the rain. We decided to move forward with the deal and filled out all the necessary documentations with the sales rep (which was very pleasant to work with), when the manager, Jose decided to add an 5K extra to the price and I quote "because everyone wants the van". This was his only explanation for adding the extra 5K to the cost of the van. We are extremely upset at this and backed out from the deal. This is not a way to conduct business and most definitely not when the documents and deposit were ready to be submitted for the van. Very disappointed with this dealer. read more

The time to buy a new (used) vehicle inevitably arrived. After months of looking and failed negotiations at other dealers, I found one at Metro Ford and made an appointment to check it out. The truck looked just fine and they came down even further on the price without much effort on my part. They were a bit pushy to get me to buy the truck that night, but I just couldn't do it then. I stopped by 2 days later to complete the deal. Unfortunately I failed to get the verbally agreed upon price on paper and neither the salesman who helped me nor the manager were in that morning. Luckily they honored the price and we headed over to finance. I was kind of worried for a bit and kicking myself for forgetting to get the price on paper. They charged a $599 dealer fee (which I wish no dealer did, but that's another story...). No other outrageous fees were snuck in, like some dealers do (I'm looking at you Lehman group). The finance guy got me an excellent interest rate, but he was pushy in trying to get me to sign up for extended warranty. I never get extended warranty on anything, so I kept declining. Besides the extended warranty, they didn't push other useless "protection" items on me (paint/interior protection and theft insurance) like AutoNation did when negotiating with them. While completing the sale, the salesman found a dent on the hood which I had missed and arranged for their paintless dent removal guy to repair it. A few days later I stopped by and it was taken care of like they promised. All in all, a pleasant experience, which isn't what I was expecting at all. read more

This is an untrustworthy place. I tried buying a car with them and it was a poor experience. I reached out to their online department and they offered me a match + $500 discount over a competing dealership offer. They confirmed 1) they had the model and color I requested, 2) price and 3) a "no surprises experience". As soon as I got to the dealership 1) they told me the color was not available, 2) insisted on increasing the price (although there was written confirmation) and 3) tried to up sell me to a higher valued model. I had asked for a no-surprise experience as I live with an elder person and wanted a quick in and out due to COVID (the reason for the online reach out in the first place) and lost over 1 hour In a dealership that felt dirty and not sanitized. Worked with Ana Sandoval the Intenret Coordinator. Seems as though the only thing she can coordinate is leading an interested customer on. Found a vehicle online. Received the payment form to place a deposit, and before I could even fill it out and send it back, she sold the car from under me. She never once told me someone else was interested or put any urgency on getting the deposit processed. Absolutely horrible experience and customer service. Waste of your time. Bait and switch. Drove over an hour to get there. The van looked great. Went in to negotiate cost and get surprised with tons of extra fees and expenses tacked on. In other words, the online price was about $1-2,000 less than what they were really selling for. No this wasn't just tax stuff guys. I asked them about the extra stuff and was told I had to buy it all included some Nitro Tire Shield for $699. ETAG fee for 299. Predelivery service of 799. No one could give me an answer as to what the ETAG was when there was a completely separate tag & title line item for 590. What? They told me I had to buy it all included the Nitro Shield. I was then told by the guy they "made a mistake" and messed up on the online price and should have valued it higher. I could either take this deal or they would be forced to correct their mistake and up the price and charge me more. I ended up speaking to 3 guys. Some overweight Brazilian guy in his 50s, Jose Diaz, and their "manager" who is some old balding hispanic guy. It got really strange because the manager took away from me the paper with the price breakdown on it. He literally took it away and would not give it. What the? You give me the paper and then take it back so I can't have it when I'm walking out the door? I ended up wasting 1-2 hours on these guys. Just go to another place. I leased a Ford Escape 2015, the salesman was awesome, awesome, very willing and patience about my questions and explaining all about the car and the papers i needed. He helped me a lot and i recommend this place for that. The place is clean and neat, with stuff to drink and wait and wifi. Although the salesman was great beware about the financial guys, i can't say the same. The lowest lowest grade, they help me with all the paperwork as they should in order to make the deal of course but always on a harry and wanting me to sing everything without questions, not clear at all about the final numbers on the car, discounts that i have right to and payments. I really don't know what was the cost of the car so far because they couldn't explain clearly the numbers. An exhausting 9hrs day but i have the car. read more

Service center has always taken care of me. Just moved to Miami in August and had been rear ended when evacuating from the hurricane. Fernando made sure he could get me the best possible price for what I needed and when I called to set up and oil change and breaks, he made sure the service center checked everything before just charging me for work that may not have been needed. He is always kind and courteous to me and understands I am on a tight budget. He is great. Yes like any dealership you pay the premium but I always think the service is worth it. I have a 2014 Ford Explorer Limited and I've been a Metro Ford customer for the last 2 and half years. I took an online appointment with their Service Department several days in advance specificing in detail the nature of my car's problem. Unfortunately when I went there in the morning, as per schedule, an operator asked me if I was able to "leave" my car at Metro Ford based on the fact that, on Saturdays, the Service Department just take care of "basic services like oil check/change and other simple works", while my problem needed time to be addressed. Of course I couldn't leave my car for an unspecified amount of time, and I was a little upset because of the day off taken out of my job specifically to fix this issue, so I asked for the Service Director and, when introduced to him a few minutes later, kindly suggested a possible improvement in the communication system: in fact I received an automated confirmation of my appointment, and then two reminders by email and by phone (!), but I would have rather preferred to be notified in advance about the impossibility to check my Selector Lever's problem on a Saturday - which is why I specified the information on my request - and reschedule my appointment on a different day. A very odd thing is that the Service Manager told me he is absolutely "not aware about this kind of problem on Ford Explorers", despite his many years of experience, while it's very simple - even for an inexperienced person like I am - to find Youtube videos talking about it (with tens of thousands of views from concerned customers) and the TSB issued on the specific topic (that I was able to show him on my tablet) as per link that follows: http://www.revbase.com/BBBMotor/TSb/DownloadPdf?id=189151 Also, when I filled out a form on the Metro Ford's website asking for the General Manager's email address, after this happened, I have been contacted on the phone by a gentleman from the Customer Service to whom I explained that I needed for the information to be kindly emailed to me (because I was driving and unable to write it down) while he was trying to spell it over the phone: he confirmed and I waited more than two hours for that email to be sent when I finally decided to go back to Metro Ford and get the information directly from a nice lady at the desk in the lobby area. The customer service's email, instead, was never received. Meanwhile, as requested, the Service Director called me on the phone to communicate that the replacement for the Selector Lever, whose online price for the original part is around $ 130, would have cost me $500 (implying a $370 surcharge for work and taxes). After being contacted by email, the GM of the dealership nicely replied "from out of town" postponing his investigation over the problem to the next Monday (week ends are sacred to somebody, I understand that despite the fact that I've been working WE and holidays my entire life) but, in the end, he gave me little satisfaction and I never heard from him after a couple of attempts to reach each other over the phone that very Monday (I have a very bad signal, at work, and when I tried to call him back, twice, it went straight to voicemail). A very disappointing experience, considering that my wife and I were planning to buy a second family car from this dealership (and maybe others, in the future, for my business). read more

In a time bad customer service, separation of ones role and the customer it truly refreshing to know that great customer service exist. I've come to this small dealership many times and will only come there to see David now. He's in great spirit and always makes you feel like he'll do all he can to take care of the customer. There's never the unknown guesstimating or prep of doom I experienced from other service associates looking to make a warranty sale on car still in warranty.
