My car needed an oil and filter change and I was nervous about getting them to check out the car to make sure it was safe. When I asked at the extreme labor costs that's even higher than a Mercedes Benz mechanic's they started lying that they had to do some extra work that was not even mentioned by the estimate, and that I had to pay for it or they would not release my car. I have been to Ojus Automotive several times over the past few years. The service has never been great, but the shop is really close to my house, so it's been convenient, I am a repeat customer of this business. Today, I went to have my tires replaced, I also opted to changes my brake pads, when I arrived there was no one there (customers), the staff was friendly, and they began working on my car right away. 30 minutes into my visit, a few different cars arrived, and work on my car - stopped completely, all 3 cars were finished before mine. I raised my concern to the owner, and he called me a liar, argued, shouted, and addressed me with profanity. I was not disrespectful, I did not raise my voice, I felt that I had been skipped, overlooked, and was told FU$*!K off. They lost a customer today and made it abundantly clear that they did not care. read more

I went in for a serpentine belt replacement, car had a light high pitched screech. After looking at the car, Sean, who was very polite, explained that the tensioner needed to be replaced as well and could not be put back after he changed te belt. I agreed, and was set back around $400. I came to pick up the car the next day, and the AC compressor was busted, and now the car made a deafening roar if the AC was turned on. this was smack in the middle of Miami Summer. Sean refused to assume any responsibility and tried to put the blame on normal wear and tear, which somehow would miraculously bust a 4 year old compressor the exact day when the belt was being replaced after the ac had been working well. Accidents happen, and if that were the case we would have dealt with it in a civilized fashion. But Sean refused to step up and assume any responsibility, and I was left with an unusable AC, broken compressor ($800 repair cost) and $400 down the drain. If I had the time and energy I would have called the police, but luckily my parts insurance covered half of the loss and the full repair of my compressor at another shop. read more

It took them two days just to diagnosis it followed by two more days to complete the repair. The repair was nothing major so I had no idea why it took so long. Came here to have 2 tires installed on a BMW 535i and get an alignment. After they put the wheels back on the car I asked to have them torques bolts to BMW spec as I don't know if the guns over-tighten the bolts. SEAN told me that SHOP DOES NOT HAVE A TORQUE WRENCH and the they don't torque anything down to spec. Then he proceeded that he has plenty of business and he does not want to help me any more. At first they are friendly then a turn of mood. I was polite and did not say anything. This was extremely awkward. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP IF YOU ARE SEEKING PROFESSIONAL SERVICE. Sean is a great mechanic and gets the job done. Quick and efficiently. He needs to get rid of his attitude driven cashier . When working in a business setting you must constantly keep a positive attitude for the customers. I had to bring my car back to the shop after getting my brakes fixed. They were still squeezing. I called several times to confirm with the front desk. upon arrival incorrect name and PHONE NUMBER under my account.I asked the young women at ask the front desk a simple question as to whether I will be charged or not the attitude comes full force. I'm not sure if this attitude is consistent across the board with all customers. I am certain I won't be returning with my car until the front desk is more efficient. 4 star rating because it's a family owned business and Sean is a very nice man. Unknowledgeable or deceptive practices. I left my car to have simple aftermarket parts installed but was told it would require extensive and costly work. The instructions for the parts mention it is a bolt on which requires only a couple of hours (even for amateurs). Beware of this place! read more

I paid over $2600 to have my brakes & rotors replaced as well as a full suspension replacement. The brakes continued to squeak after 8,000 miles and I was informed by my new garage that they had used poor quality non-ceramic pads that also left tons of brake dust. My suspension has continued to rattle like the sound of marbles since then. Probably used poor quality shocks too. I brought it back to have it addressed a day or two later and spent an hour driving around with them only saying they could not hear anything and trying to stuff napkins in body panels saying that was the rattle. Now I have to spend a few hundred more to have that fixed again, but properly. Will NEVER go to this garage again and suggest u don't either unless u want cheap parts for the cost of quality ones. I have a huge regret going here and wasting my money. read more

I took my car for radiator and thermostat replace they charged me $600 including $195 just to do a radiator flush, after driving my car for a couple of weeks I noticed the transmission was faulty and not running the same as well as a leak of transmission fluid I had another mechanic take a look and he found that one of the transmission hoses was unplugged and the clasp had been loosen on purpose. I don't know yet what else they tampered in my car I am so upset that this mechanic can be so unscrupulous and devious, by doing this this he thought I was going to run back to him so he could rob me again. I am really sorry to give this low review for this business, but so many chances were given to improve my perception and at the end it was just a huge waste of my money and time! Owner is a nice guy, but unfortunately service is REALLY poor. I spend way over $4,000 in one of my cars in the past 2 years, in different recommended and necessary repairs (from mechanical, to suspension, to electrical) and 95% of them were not satisfactory, looking massy and giving problems right after the car was out of there, making me to go back every time. For my disappointment, all those times they would charge me again! I would be promised that if such and such was done such issue would be definitely solved, I would agree, pay for it and nothing... After some time I learned that they would work on a trial and error basis at my expenses (convenient uh?!). Although owner is a nice guy, I promised myself I won't go back there, even for the services already paid for. My timing is off by two teeth. I took my car right back after driving down a couple blocks because I was experiencing a grind/ping noise while I accelerated. I was told this was because the new belt was tight and the noise would go away on it own. I went to another mechanic where they checked my timing for me and showed me where the marks were on my engine, where my timing belt should be in relation to top dead center, and we found out my timing was off, by entire two teeth. read more
