I was in Madison doing some store and it's to take some photos from my work. Need some groceries stopped here. Never been here before, but probably honestly would never return. Everything from the produce to the meats to every other categories groceries, was probably 20 to 40% more expensive than any other grocery store in the area and their assortment was not that impressive. Amazing store! I've been getting pickup there for about 2 years now and the staff is always so helpful and friendly. Shalina is always so nice and funny; she always brings a smile to my face. Last week, the gentleman with red hair and glasses (I should have asked for his name) was so helpful running in and getting me another pack of soda to make sure I got enough soda packs required for the deal. read more

We use the Metro Market as our primary grocery location. The prices at Woodman's are better but the crowd and the archaic payment methods don't make it very desirable. The Metro Market prices don't seem out of line and we can usually get in and out of there fairly quickly. One thing we don't love is the produce -- it's fine but not great. The deli team is always doing something different with cheese and sausage platters, which is nice. Checkout can be tough with long lines but they recently opened another set of self-checkout so when both are in use that helps. When you do go to a staffed line, the baggers don't seem to really have a clue. We use reusable bags and they have no idea how to separate the cold items into the cooler bags. They also tend to overstuff everything. Overall, it's the best option for us in the area but has a few shortcomings for sure. read more

Out of Sunday sliced ham at 10 am so asked them to slice a ham for us at meat counter and the guy said no. Self checkout kept asking for help and lady was too busy talking to other worker. Had also asked about certain cookies and the two ladies kept going back and forth saying g it was the others department. read more

Checking out is a nightmare, usually only one or two cashiers, so you need to use the self checkout which is always backed up. On the weekends this is ridiculous. Not sure what marketing or logistics person came up with the stacks and pallets of items in the middle of the aisles as a good idea, but this is horrible for customer flow. read more

More expensive than the Woodmans 2ish miles North or Aldi 1ish mile East, but clean and nicely kept. The majority of the time, employees are positive to interact with or check out with. A small but non-trivial amount of the time I've gotten a negative experience. read more

Repeatedly overcharges on groceries. Receipt and charges are generated on day of sale flyer, but they do not honor sale prices or coupons. The last order I placed we were overcharged $57! The manager told me it was because the order was placed the day before, however, the items were not shopped, nor receipt generated until the day of the sale. (Receipt was dated the day of the sale and credit card was charged the day of the sale. Her recommendation was to get up after midnight to place the order the day of sale. ) The store manager was quite snotty and did not care that after 30 years we would no longer be doing business with the store. We commute 45 minutes and choose to pick up groceries in Stoughton. read more

My 91.5 year old mother, who still drives, owns and lives in her condo alone, is secretary treasurer for her condo association and is retired from GTE, was OVERCHARGED at this despicable poorly managed understaffed overpriced Pick & Save. She has fallen and been injured twice in the past two weeks and was held up for her refund for 30 minutes standing at the DISSERVICE counter waiting for help, with and elderly couple standing behind her waiting for the same reason, OVERCHARGED and waiting for assistance for a refund. The management of this crap hole store is guilty of ELDER ABUSE. They have OVERCHARGED several times. This shows a Systematic Pattern of Attempted Fraud & Theft. My mother stated "My Time Is Valuable Too, How Dare They Do This to Me Again & The Elderly Couple Waiting Behind Me, I'm Going To Walmart From Now On!". She arrived home Angry, Exhausted and in Pain from being Held Up for so long on her feet stating, "Pick & Save Doesn't Care About Customers, Nor Customer Service, Just Corporate Profit, Which They Try To Accomplish By Stealing From Elderly People On A Fixed Income." The manager of this store is darn lucky I live in Tucson, or I'd stop in and punch them in their abusive ignorant head! My mom stated her time was valuable. Her time is not valuable, IT IS PRECIOUS at her age. My mother has six kids and we are related to founding families of Sun Prairie. We will be posting on all social media and emailing thousands of residents of Sun Prairie to BLACKLIST ALL PICK & SAVE STORES! ELDER ABUSE. That is what they sell at this crap hole store. read more

Fresh produce, nice selections in deli, fresh meat and clean store. This is my favorite grocery store in Sun Prairie.

I really like this Pick 'n Save. It's not the closest grocery to my home, but it's the one I prefer and that's why I continue to shop here. Every time I have been in the shelves are well stocked and very organized. I purposely avoid "high volume" times, like right after work or Saturday morning, so that may have something to do with tidiness. I've been in on my lunch hour as well a few times now and have experiences empty self-check outs (my favorite!) and an overall not crowded store. The produce section has always impressed me. The fruits always look super fresh and ripe. And the salad bar is pretty legit. I still think HyVee wins for *best* salad bar in the Madison area, but this one here is a very great option and I recommend it. I like the set up of the store, it has an easy flow that makes sense. Prices are higher than Woodmans, but Woodman's isn't nearly as clean and doesn't offer the same quality deli/hot bar/salad bar/pasta salads/etc. as P'nS does. read more

Went to the deli today and the deli worker was extremely rude. We asked for our item thinly sliced, and she sliced it thick. We asked for her to slice it thinner and she bluntly told us "no." Unacceptable. If you don't want to help customers, don't work in the deli. read more

Went in for one item saw the lines all 7-8 customers deep walked out. Dont go to this location right after work. The person scheduling staff must be clueless. I only come here because its the only grocery store near by. The lines are always long to check out, selection is just me'h, the self check out is annoying telling you a whole bunch of useless stuff when you want to just check out, they always ask for ID when buying beer no matter how old you are or look. I much prefer Hy-Vee on East Washington. read more

When I'm in the area and in the need of groceries, I generally end up going to the nearby Woodmans. While this Pick 'n Save offers the advantage of taking credit cards, that convenience does not offset the higher prices and less variety of pantry items and frozen foods. The pharmacy was beyond helpful and even discounted my meds with my Good RX card for the five days I need to hold me over before I get back home. This is the worst run grocery store. NOTHING IS STOCKED and so many things are short dated! I cannot tell you the number of times I went through their entire selection of dairy products only to find every single one of them was set to expire in two days. I used to justify the annoying experience with their quality of produce, which has now also gone downhill. They'll have 2 checkouts open during peak times, but the self checkout is no faster when you have a cart full of groceries, and you have to call an attendant at least once because the machine is yelling at you. If you want the discounts, you have to work for them. Download an app, pray the app works (it is glitchy), hope you get service in the store, it's a whole process. Clearly they are choosing profits over quality...I'm done. read more

Decent store, prices are higher than Woodman's, but that seems to be every grocery store that isn't Woodman's. Plus side, fresher produce and deli items. Still, like Woodman's they've tried to give me food poisoning by leaving expired products out I accidentally grabbed w/o examining close enough. Yay! They changed the name for this location! I well, this is my favourite Pick'n Save to go to. Staff is always friendly, clean store, always have what I need here, and I just am familiar with this location. I come here on a regular basis and get the majority of what I need here. Place gets pretty busy but the lines move along quickly. Their produce is always nice and neat, their meat department is nice, their deli department always have what I'm looking for when I'm too lazy to cook dinner, their bakery is conveniently next to the produce and deli so it makes it easy to shop here. This is a nice and convenient location and I would recommend coming here! read more

Don't shop at this store. I tried the Pickup for the first time only to find 4 items were substituted. It was over a $100 order. I declined 3 of the substitutions, then went inside and found 2 of the items in the store. So much for the convenience of Pickup when you have to go in the store to get the items you ordered on-line. I asked the employee to check the receipt to see if I got the sale prices as we are Perks customers. She said their printer wasn't working. (The manager told me later that they switched to paperless receipts.) Get this - one of the items I had to go buy inside was part of the buy 5 items, save $1 each item so I didn't get the discounts. When I called the 800 number to complain, they said they couldn't credit our credit card for the difference, just give an in-store credit. Why would I want that? I will not shop at their stores again. We have been Pick 'N Save/Copp customers for over 20 years & have spent about $35,000 there. I will drive 30 miles to shop elsewhere. read more

I live less than a block from this place and dread every time I have to go here, as there always seems to be some issue with this store. I really dislike the Pick n Save stores in general, and this one is no different. There are very few organic options, especially in produce and meat. Whatever organic options they have are rediculously high priced. Woodmans has a MUCH greater organic variety at prices well below prices (even for non-organic items!) here. Besides the prices on everything being higher than Woodmans, Walmart, and other grocery stores, the employees here are always so rude/unfriendly. Since lines here are always long, I usually opt to go down the self checkout lane, then end up regretting it when I never fail to have some issue with the machine or scale that requires an employee's code. Since the employee tasked with supervising the self checkouts never actually seems to be doing so, I wait forever for some employee to assist me. Never with an apology, thanks for my patience, or friendly attitude. The customer service is definitely lacking. No variety of options, high prices, unfriendly and unhelpful employees, and always an issue with something when I'm here...Although the location couldn't be more convenient, I gladly go elsewhere for groceries. read more
