I personally had a very disappointing time in the store. I am writing my post again in hopes that does not get erased. If it does my step Next Step will be going to the Better Business Bureau where I do not think it's fair to get removed just because you're being honest about the service that you feel like you were being provided. A little while ago I had went there and I have tried to make a review several different times this company seems to keep erasing it the salesperson was very pushy I told them that day I had no interest in buying a mattress right then and there I wanted to look at a couple other places they're like oh you got to do it now you got to do it now you got to do it now you got to do it now. I said I still want to look at other options I'm not even sure if this one's are comfortable I ended up getting the mattress home didn't even feel like it was the same one that I got at the store I've been very unhappy with the mattress that I got I feel like if you're going to get a mattress I would suggest looking at other places before coming here. The person that I dealt with was nice enough I'm not saying that they were rude just pushy I understand they're in sales I understand they have a job. But it's still a shame that this is how they choose to conduct their business. I said that I wanted to come back tomorrow after I looked at some other options. And then I tried to reach out a couple times because I was unhappy with the mattress that got sent to me. But after going through this horrible experience to begin with I felt like they weren't going to do anything about it cuz they didn't even care if I was happy with what I had to begin with they just cared about making the sale so I was stuck with a very expensive mattress that I've been very unhappy with for a while now. Metro Mattress is a discount sleep superstore with several locations in the Rochester area and throughout Western New York. They sell mattresses, futons, and beds. They also penetrate our brains with frequent TV ads - which I'd bet the song is already in your brain's ears. I'm actually surprised by the negative reviews, as from the moment we walked in, our salesman Steve struck the perfect balance between offering advice and allowing us to make our own decisions. He was extremely knowledgeable, answered all our questions, volunteered some important information we didn't think to ask about, but was never remotely pushy. He encouraged us to feel at home and take as long as we needed. He had us try out their most expensive, fancy bed so we could compare to what a top of the line mattress would be. We spent hours trying out different mattresses, comparing prices and asking questions. We decided on a bed and he helped us with financing, which went extremely smoothly, and we set up delivery for that following Saturday. Our delivery appointment was set up for between noon and 3, but they showed up early, around 1030, which was fine by us. Their delivery guys were very friendly, worked fast and efficiently, got our bed all set up and were on their way quickly. Our bed was priced at a comparable, reasonable price for anyone buying a king sized, name brand bed. We went with a Tempurpedic mattress with an adjustable base and it's been great. In the couple weeks I've had it, I've actually been completely pain free for the first time in a while. I'd recommend this location to anyone! read more

This company is by far the most disrespectful, dishonest and misleading company that I have ever had the misfortune of doing business with. I purchased a mattress a week ago today from the location on Route 57-Liverpool, New York. The mattress that I was purchasing was for my son, he was not with me so I was a little unsure if I should actually purchase a mattress for him or hold off until he could try one. However the salesman that was assisting me that day did everything possible and said everything possible to ensure that he made the sale. (no matter the cost to me) I explained the mattress is not for me, the mattresses was for my son so I was unsure if I should purchase one. I then asked about the return policy. This is the moment that I get completely screwed over The salesman that was helping me that day said and I quote, " if your son is not satisfied you can bring it back' So thinking that it could be returned if need be I made the purchase and bought an $800 mattress. I leave the showroom and drive to the warehouse where I picked up the mattress and then brought it home. Once I got it home I asked my son to try it out while it was still completely sealed and in all the original packaging, ufortunately he did not like it. I immediately called the store and I asked the man who answerd the phone how I could return the mattress that I literally just bought still in the plastic, completely sealed. The guy said to me, "I'm going to have to talk to somebody and call you back I've never had anybody try to return a mattress before." ( that's incredibly hard to believe) The person who called me back was a female and when she got on the phone she started off by asking questions. First question was, why do you want to return the mattress? I explained my son didn't like it. The next question was, why does your son not like it? I said he doesn't like it it's too hard for him. At this point she's asking questions that I don't even think are relevant, I just want to get my money back. So I explained about the salesman that sold me the mattress saying if my son was not satisfied I could return it. This is where the phone call turns a little hostile. She asked me to get out my customer agreement and look at the back of it, and specifically points out where it says all sales are final. Okay so yeah it does say it on the back of the contract that I signed I am one of those few people that didn't read every part of all the fine print for the contract and I TRUSTED the salesman that was assisting me. I was pissed, this lady is telling me one thing that is on back of the contract meanwhile when they made the sale they did not make that clear, they did not say it at that time even when I specifically asked about returns. She continues to tell me that the only option I could possibly have is a comfort guarantee but I need to pay $200 to have the Comfort guarantee and then I can pick a different mattress of equal or greater value and pay the difference. I am screaming at this point because I was lied to, they got one over on me and I explained that to her. At which point she says the most unprofessional, ridiculous thing that you could ever say to a customer. She specifically says how do you expect us to make sales, we need to make money so we say what we say. She is literally trying to justify the fact that I was intentionally misled. At this point I don't want to deal with any of the people at the Liverpool location. I asked for contact information for corporate and or upper management and she hangs up. I called the store two or three more times and nobody would answer my calls. They are willingly, knowingly and intentionally misleading people just to make sales. Customer service means absolutely nothing to this company. I will do whatever I can whenever I can to bring awareness to the poor unprofessionalism of this company. Now I am stuck with an $800 mattress that nobody in my house can use just because I believed in the words from the salesman that assisted me. read more

We went to the new Oswego store and purchased our new mattress. Everything about the experience was good, from the sales women to the delivery. Five stars would have been more firmness levels to try on certain styles. read more

Skip this place. Salesman is WAY more interested in getting a higher commission than helping you find a mattress that fits your needs. My wife and I went to this store based on their internet sale pricing. Not only did the salesman ignore, and, in fact, disavow knowing anything about the Internet pricing, he absolutely ignored our request for a specific type bed.... I told him FOUR times exactly what we were looking for. I'm not a kid. I know exactly what I want. Instead of listening to me, he insisted we "try" several top tier mattresses instead of what we wanted. After listening to him argue with me, we simply walked out the door. A short trip a little further down the same road to another furniture store yielded exactly what we wanted, at a very reasonable price and delivered to our door and set up free. the Metro Mattress manager at the Liverpool, New York made my recent visit exceptional. He made suggestions of different mattresses for me to lay down onto so that I could get a feel for their comfort. I was able to try various mattress firmness and was able to select what felt right for me. He made it easy to find the mattress that I would be happy with. I've been sleeping on my new mattress for a few nights and am very happy with my purchase. I would recommend the Liverpool location to anyone looking for a new mattress. read more
